Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow Week 12 June 15-21 FLOWER 6 Well, it was another rainy week. The Almanac pics show that our month to date rainfall is 3.11 inches and 2/3 of it was in the last week. The expected weather is supposed to be sunny next week. The anticipated sunny days are a mixed blessing. The temperatures for the next 10 days will exceed 90f and with this heat the humidity often exceeds 70-80%. This means the” feels like” temperatures exceed 100F, Checking Sour Jealousy today, I saw some bud rot, I treated her with Arbor fungicide to stop the spread. Fast Buds says 60 days of flower. She went into flower May 18 so it has only been a month and needs an additional 30 days or so. Fingers crossed she can withstand any more fungus spread. I would really hate to lose another plant. I pulled off 2 caterpillars from her top and side buds. One leaf at the top looks like it was eaten. Sour Jealousy Auto is a bright sativa dominant powerhouse, packing 29% THC and reaching heights up to 63 inches (150cm). I only grew one seed and it may be an outlier, but my Sour Jealousy is only 24 inches. Based on her short stature, she will not yield anything close to what FastBuds indicated as exceptionally high yields (up to 600g/m2 indoors and more outdoors depending on pot size. She is in a 5 gallon Air pot which is sufficient for autoflowers. They also indicated that odor is strong and herbs like mint, basil, marigold etc will help mask the scent. So far mine has minimal odor. Based on these differences observed so far, I wonder if this seed was correctly labeled? I’m genuinely looking of the effects this strain provides with 29% THC- a creative and uplifting high with energetic and euphoric effects. Despite its Indica-driven genetics the accompanying physical relaxation induces some hunger and sleepiness, but not much sedation. D14 - The new #1 is looking way better than her predecessor, although she still has her seed helmet on. I've tried oh so carefully to remove it but no luck so far, and I'm afraid of using excessive force, so for now, it stays on. #2 is just trucking along, doing her thing. She is now 11 cm tall and 10 cm wide. I also removed her support as she is strong enough without it. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - Today, #1 popped out of her seed. Well, mostly as it is still stuck on one of the cotyledons. It's been over two weeks without proper watering, so the girls are getting a bit thirsty. The blumat digitals show around 115-120 mbar. I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - Not much to report as the girls are simply doing their thing. Yesterday, I gave each around 2 liters of the compost tea I started a couple of days ago. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. D20 - The last day in week two of veg. Nothing to report, really. The girls are getting bigger day by day, and both are looking healthy and well. The second girl already has purple leaf stems which I don't think is stress since she looks lush and vibrant otherwise. I guess it is her genes as this strain can turn purple. I have never grown any purple cannabis, so my fingers are crossed!

Como desde el inicio hemos estado aportando fertilizantes, en estos últimos riegos decidí usar solo agua con pH controlado y una EC muy baja. Esto me permite equilibrar el sustrato y evitar una sobre-fertilización, que en esta etapa podría ser contraproducente. Todo va viento en popa, y las plantas están respondiendo muy bien. Week6 today an not impressed but there’s still time, slightly over fed but pushed back on EC to 1.7 run off 1.8 Ph 5.8 run off 6 VPD close to in range just waiting for the new dehumidifier to turn up today. There a little behind but I’m guessing they will catch up 3 weeks to go. Smelling strong really strong for the stage there at. I do see the benefits to day 21 heavy fan leave strip. But never done it at day 42. What’s people’s thoughts around day 42 fan leave strip? I know there’s a lot of nitrogen stored in them fan leaves as I pushed the EC. Now I’m thinking to strip for better penetration and lower the stored nitrogen to help the finish better.. Hit me up with advice around day 42 strip Cheers ok

Always dry trim. The leaves come off more easily when dry and it preserves more THC with the longer drying time. Will weigh up in 7-10 days. Smoke report. Tastes like strong grape juice when you hit it. Very smooth and easy on the throat. Pretty much gave me instant relaxation and relief from my depression. Seems like a good morning smoke which I love. Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

So how was this week. Major changes: Turned lights to 14 /10 to reduce heat on the plants and reduce burning the tips. Keep tent open during the day to reduce humidity and temperatures using 2 fans. Temps range from 76 -78 with rh 43 - 46%. Put the plants in the garage at night. This greatly reduces night temperatures also we have been having colder than normal weather. The night temperatures ranged from 53-58 & rh 41-51%. I continued to flush with a gal of water for each plant on day 79. This is because I've been over feeding and thought this could reduce the in plan nutrient stores. Responses to my last question revealed that I have a cal mag problem. I go to our local hardware / garden store that I know carries cannabis fertilizers. No they did not have any cal mag solution. Order came in yesterday at the end of the week. Day 81 fed 1 tsp tiger bloom per gal ( used 2 gal for all plants). Ppm was at a very low 410. This is much lower than the recommended feeding range but they have been getting too much. Day 82. Normally I would not water as the pots still had weight to them, but the cal mag came in so I made up 2 gal with 2 tsp fox farm cal mag and fed their usual water amount. 👏 Based on the seed info, it looks like I'm within a week or two from harvest. The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 90 with lots of sunshine. I gave them 2.5 gallons of water per pot. Day 2 we had lots of sunshine and a high temperature of 91°F. I watered twice today about 2-2.5 gallons each time. Day 3 we had high temperatures of 86°F and mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5 gallons per pot. Day 4 we had mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 88°F. I watered about 2.5 gallons from the water hose. I added 50ml of Ferrous Sulfate top dressed to each pot. I topped these pots off with premixed soil like I used in the pots at planting Week 1. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-2.5 gallons once today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5-3 gallons per pot. Day 7 we had high temperature of 91 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5-3 gallons per pot. This week was a success. The plant didn't gain much additional height this week. The tallest was 54". I added a little iron, and the soil I added had premixed nutrients. Next week I'll most likely add some blood meal to the watering to boost the veg. They're loving these hot summer days.
