Tropicana cookies finally finished.l, She smells amazing. Cookie dough, peanut butter, and earth. She's showed her dark purple colors the last few weeks. The purple is so dark it's almost black. But mixed with a bright green she is a Beauty to look at. Week 11 harvest weight 77gs dry. She tasted like peanut butter cookies with a little twist. Week 14 harvest 62.3 Gs Total weight 139 Flush vs no Flush I personally liked the flushed better but I only dry for 5 day before I tried this could change over time with cure. Dr Bruce Bugbee says research showes, flushing is just bro science and fertilizer can't be in the flower because of Photosynthesis. Personally I'm keeping a open mind.I think I can flush in 5 or lest days. I'm going to keep testing different flush periods until I find what works for me. Dry tent is set to 60% humidity with air flow

Day40 and two days from flipping to flower, she has grown to the size of her pot and I don’t want her getting root bound. So this week I have been working on her to prepare her for the flip. At the start of the week I got rid of any undergrowth. Any branch that never made it to the canopy is now in a coco cube. Any leaf I didn’t want is now part of the mulch layer. And I have been threading through the screen net to get a nice even top. Above this top I’ve turn on the second light, still at 50% but raise to 45cm above top of canopy. And light hours was drop to 16 hrs on Fungus gnats are lowering as I’ve scraped back the top of the soil layer and top dressed. I’ve also added a fan under the canopy. Totaling three fans All that left to do for now is top dress with bloom nutes, flip the lights again and turn up my extractor. See you on the other side list get it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Inhale for 13s, Exhale for 13s, Inhale for 8s, Exhale for 8s, Inhale for 5s, Exhale for 5s, Inhale for 3s, Exhale for 3s, Inhale for 1s, Exhale for 1s, Alignment. 1.618 More energy, more blueprint. A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

She dried out a little too much during the week. Lots of leaves turned brown too. I think she is done anyway, trichomes are all milky and the pistils are mostly brown. Based on that = harvest in 24h 💪

Comming into the 2022 season, this year I decided to go with a friend's prized cut of unknown bag seed origins. It was free and the flower I smoked was amazing. Let's see how they do this year. So as always started with 15 gal fabric pots and filled them up with promix hp. Amended the soil with 70/30 ratio of Gaia green 444 and 284 at 4tspg. This year I also decided to amend the soil with worm castings at 7.5lbs/15gal of soil. For watering we used tap water @6.4pH mixed with 50mL of molassas to 5 gal of water. Stick trap indicators are put up to monitor pests such as gnats. The ladies are about 6-8weeks old clones for reference. See you on the next update!

All received their final feeding early this week and they are on ph water here on out. Had to add the humidifier in this week for the first time with these girls as the humidity dropped to 47%. They should be on cruise control from here with just water. They have a really nice fade happening to their leaves and developing nice purple hues. Hopefully they will be ready to harvest in a week or so time. Daiquiri Lime is the frostiness by far!!!

Day 141 10/06/25 Tuesday Harvested the Orange Apricot Glue XL today! This run of autos I haven't done any dark period before harvest except, I managed to catch them just as lights were coming on. She has performed amazingly in consideration that she was only in a 2.5L pot. In hindsight, I now know I am able to do a SOG with small auto pots. Making for an exciting next run. Upon harvesting the OAG XL, The pungent smell of citrus, diesel and fruity twists is intoxicating. The buds are dense and compact, with formed calyx's boasting with trichomes. Wet weight on this was 427g of buds. (All wet trim gets dried in hangers and used for making butter later) To my suprise a super easer one to trim as she was mainly buds and fan leaves. She is now hanging drying in a 80x80 tent , with a small fan on low @ netted window entrance, facing down to circulate air from bottom to top. An exhausting fan with carbon filter also runs 2x a day for 1 hour. This lasted for 8days before humidity dropped to 49%. I have now put into containers to allow inner moisture to pull through now. After 3-4 more days she will have final trim and placed into Terp Loc Grove Bags to cure. Once curing I shall do a smoke report, dry bud weight, and update journal. Thank you to everyone who followed along for this one, the comments and support! GROWERS LOVE TO APOLLO @ SWEET SEEDS, for allowing us to play with these fun genetics 💚🤜🤛

The tiny potter grow for the contest is looking good. Nice big plant for such a small potter. At this rate it will be a great entry. I am having to feed her about 2 to 3 times a day. Her ph was starting to drop with the heavy nutrition. I been trying to get the most out of her. She has a few mutations. Those were early on in grow. She is stacking, and flowering great for a micro grow. Leaves are a little damaged, but this is a complicated grow with plant size vs potter. I have done minimum training, and a little selective defoliation. She has been growing very ideally. She is doing great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light.
