Week 4: Heartbreak and Hope 🍍💔 The sight that greeted me today was devastating. Snails. Everywhere. They'd turned my once vibrant pineapple into a skeleton of its former self. I could barely bring myself to take a single photo, the sight was just too painful. Fueled by anger and determination, I launched Operation Snail Removal. Every half hour, armed with a flashlight and a bucket, I combed the raised bed and surrounding area. By the time darkness fell, I'd collected a horrifying 19 snails from her bed alone. Ugh. The next night, thankfully, was snail-free. I can only hope that the damage is done and my pineapple warrior can rally from this. I believe in her strength, her resilience. She's got to pull through.

We are staring week 4 of flower! Currently at Day 22 and feeling good. The plant is still getting watered every other day and honestly looks great. Looking forward to seeing when this guys starts getting into deep flower. This week, we doubled the feed to 2 tbsps of the Flower girl. I also have her about 2 tsp of the kelp meal. I think this will be 1 of 2 kelp meal feedings. Going forward we'll be doing some compost tea now and then to support flower and increase the brix of these flowers. Day 64: It seems to go well. I am still keeping an eye on the "hanging" leaves. I think they tend to hang a little more when light on, and less with light off but its hard to say if it is normal. It might be as @GrowingGrannie mentioned, they might be under watered, as there is not much run-off at the last couple of watering's, maybe 1l each time and I will give them a 30% run-off next time to be sure UPDATE: I have noticed some more brown spots on the right plant caused by Calcium Deficiency. I think I should up the PH a bit more, going for 6.5 this time. I will also increase my CalMag supplement by 50%, and do 30% run-off today Day 66: Thank you all for the kind answers 🙏 You all have different opinions, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact problem. I am almost certain that I got some heat/light stress as mentioned by @GrowingGrannie and @Chow_13. I have therefore raised the lamp and are keeping the dimmer very low, using about 140W in total. I am still investigating if there might be other problems to it. @m0use, thank you for your answer. I do not think they are thirsty, at least not any more, as I am already on the subject for the last couple of days. About PH, It was difficult to get a good picture of the PH solution, but it was light-green to green (6.5-7.0) on the picture (And that was run-off PH) and what I put in was adjusted slowly from yellow to light-green aka 6.0-6.5 (I wrote 6.25 but it was auto adjusted) @gottagrowsometime, thank you for the answer. I do not think it is a nitrogen toxicity. My leaves aren't that dark green, although they are a bit to the dark side but not like what I see on other pictures with that problem. I also think the curling is caused by light/heat stress as I just got a new lamp and are experimenting with it. But I will keep your suggestion in the back of my head! @Chow_13, thank you very much for your answer. I think you are spot on, however I am not sure it is the only problem... It might be as you say, nutrients are not absorbed correctly due to the light-stress, but I will not put all my money on that @Nugsery and @GrowingGrannie, a big thank you for your answers. The deficiencies might not be the same, but the cure is very similar. I cannot make up who is right, but I do have a plan. I will follow your recommendation @GrowingGrannie and @Nugsery, and do a flush, but with a ph 5.8 as both nutrients should be able to be absorbed in that level. I will then give her a light nutrient mix and adding PK, also 5.8 ph. This is almost the same solution for both deficiencies. I will then slowly get the ph back to 6.2 @ernesttwwg, thank you for your answer. I have known for some time I have some Interveinal chlorosis, but I do not know what is causing it. There is multiple deficiencies giving those symptoms. The tacoing of leaves, and leaf tips curling down I think is caused by the light, and I have therefor raised the light. I will keep investigating the symptoms you mention OBS: I will not edit my nutrient schema as this is only temporarily, next watering will be as described UPDATE: After flushing with 15L~ ph 5.8~ and a small feed with 5.8~ ph I still get about 6.5~ ph in my run-off water. I am going to do another flush tomorrow to see I can bring it down to around 6.0~ ph Day 67: I think I see small improvements on the leaves. The new heat/light level seem to have done something. I did that second flush and are still getting about 6.5 ph in run-off.... I think I will let her dry for now, monitoring what happens, and do another flush in a couple of days

Week 5 on these amazing girls. They're full into the flower stage and the smells are starting to come through super strong. I've switched over to bloom nutes and they seemed to never skip a beat. All in all excited to see what the coming weeks have in store. Happy Growing.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

I was told to never judge a strain purely off it's THC percentage. To smell a plant, and what your nose picks out is generally the strain that will jive the best with the endocannabinoid system in your body. This strain exemplifies that. It's only around 17% but the high is amazing. An under-rated strain for sure. Very easy strain to grow. Although the same strain, one looked pretty different and was much frostier despite getting the exact same treatment from seed to chop.

Week 12 in the garden, and it's time for some serious plant pampering! The ladies got a trimming fit for royalty, and even a leafy lollipop treat – because who says plants can't enjoy a little sweetness in their lives? With the flipping of the plants just around the corner, it's like the calm before the botanical storm. I can almost hear the plants whispering among themselves, "Get ready, folks, it's about to get real in here!" As I prepare for the flip next week, I can't help but marvel at how far my green companions have come. From tiny seeds to leafy giants, it's been a journey filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of growth. So, here's to Week 12 – a week of trimming, lollipops, and anticipation for the flip. Welcome to my Runtz X Layer Cake Female Diary from Barneysfarm. Wk 9 Days 58-63 (device was lost, and all picture,video days 57-69 were lost, so here's my account) just had finished pre flower and started to stack heavily on building top bud sites. Laded with thich compact trichomes. She has bright orange hairs. That give of a lovely musk of armoas that take over your senses. 2/3rds down the main bud sites, very healthy huge sugar leafs surround her, but, if hasn't taken away from below, as the sites are smaller, but have so much frost. And she had at least 14-20 more days. Wk 10 days 64-70 As you can see. She has a beautiful shape. Some of the nicest looking bud I've yet grown. She took to LST really well. Had I lollipopped the heck out of her, and make for some pretty good solid top colas with some small dense bud sites that have 1/3 the trichomes to calyxs. The calyex to sugar leaf ratio is super low, but 2/3s down she has many large sugar leafs that have shaded out her canopy. But, by moving her around and adjusting LST and leaf tucking. I've literally done hardly any defoliation. Am going to squeeze some in this week. Not, that its needed. But, there is some still more growing to do down below. And if I leave her to mature without allowing light to hit her harder down further into the canopy I risk the chance of overcooking the hard earned Rock Hard half fist sized buds. Have a feeling this gonna be some of my best smoke to date. The plant is in tip top shape. No defiencies no toxicity. 1st time for me. Am just going to let her ride out the next 2 weeks on water. Today being the 6/2/25 i can say happily that's she has recovered well from last week. From the stem snapping but as you can see she is doing amazingly well for what I have put her through, it was a bag seed and from what I can see it's got good genetics. And smells like lemon haze to me but time will tell. I have released her from her shackles and now I will just let her grow free till crop I may introduce a net not too sure yet

Temps have been low 80s and humidity around 35% in the tent all week due to the good weather outside. Plants didn't seem to mind tho. Drinking more water so giving every other day.
