It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. Aug 9: Mimosa Shot is doing fine. She was slower starting than her wagon partner Sunday Punch EV, but she is liking the warmer weather. Got UV led lights from AC Infinity going today. These are designed for indoor so I can only put them out on nice weather days. Did this last year and seems to work. The UV lights make Edmonton in the fall feel more like California in the summer, or at least that’s the idea. UV is critical for trichome production so it’s a good way to boost THC percentage. Aug 14: rainy the last few days. Mimosa Shot likes to be a bit warmer. It was slower getting going in the spring, and now it seems to be suffering from a P deficiency. Reddish petioles, and a blueish tint to the leaves. She has received Power Bloom and barley just like the other plants, but still seemed to be lacking something. Ed Rosenthal’s Grower’s Handbook says P deficiency can be due to cold weather. Decided to try and dissolve 0.5 tsp of Power Bloom in 1 L of warm water to use as a high P foliar spray. As always, used a bit of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Soap as a surfactant, and apple cider vinegar to adjust pH. Power Bloom mostly dissolved but with some undissolved. Unfortunately I don’t have a working TDS or EC meter. Not sure how strong it was so just sprayed a bit on the fan leaves.

Flower season is upon us... The LST has continued and she's bouncing back with every bend and twist. Very promising look to the plants growth. She seems happy with the amended soil and the addition of CalMag+, so we seem to be good to go on this one.

Smells strongly like pepper and mandarin,start to thicken up now,3 maybe 4 weeks left,have about 1 week of perfect weather coming, have trimmed off the really tiny buds to focus the growth on the big ol nugs

Start of week 4 I removed the net because of a heatwave a put the plants in a cold room during the night The coockies are now starting week 3 of flower i gave basic nutes everytime they were dry Day 24: the temperatures are perfect (24 celcius) the buds start to show up on all plants

12/04 - Gonna do a flush. I think I let the plants sit in the runoff too long after watering last time. Have a little yellowing on some of the leaves. 12/05 - Decided not to flush. I pH the soil at 5.8. Gonna raise it a bit and I cut out the veg nutes and cut the flowering nutes in half. Used some Germ Genie which is essentially kelp to see if the issue was just nute burn or potassium. pH the water to 6.8. 12/06 - Looking healthy today. Fan Leaves are really stretching for the light. 12/07 - Plants are starting to bud up and fill in those pistils. 12/08 - Watered the girls with just Bloom. 12/09 - Out of Town 12/10 -Looking Frosty!

Had some family time last week and unfortunately caught covid with all the symptoms. I've been bed bound since Monday and today I'm starting to feel slighty better. Not asking for sympathy 🤣 but this explains why some of my girls have switched on me... Looks like all 3 Frosted Biscotti have gone into reveg. Obviously have a light leak but think I've sorted it now. The mystery is just well under feed as I've run out of Bloom and big Buds and its also gone into reveg. The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. Apologies again for not getting back to anyones dairys over the last 2weeks. I'm going to spend the weekend catching up with you all and sorting out the tent as long as I'm covid clear. My partner has been doing so much for my son and I I couldn't ask her to maintain the tent aswell. Been a rainy week here and things are starting to heat up. Humidity and temperature a little higher than ideal. Not really noticing too much smell yet but my house always smells like weed so who knows. There is a very pungent lemon sme when touching the leaves so we’ll see what she does!
