Week 9 Flower Report: The Countdown to Harvest Begins! 🌼✨ As the ninth week of flower unfolds, the room is a symphony of colors and frosty brilliance—a true gardener’s dream! But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. she has been chopped. I went 60 days total in flower. I tried her but she was not ready to be smoked. she has been down for a few days as fastbuds recommended flower time was 62 days. I was going to wait but she really started to stink. real strong and pungent. so make sure your carbon filter is big enough for your space. any ways she grew out nice and real sticky. I was able to get some darker fades going. real fun. I will do a smoke update here soon and close this out.

Hey ZAMNESIA has sent some more seeds to rock under the new lights X2 Vipraspectra lights 200watt total 400 watts These new lights (LEDS) where sent by Vipraspectra to upgrade me to newer LED lights with the sunlike full spectrum lights , the room is brighter no doubt and the spectrum of light outperformed the HPS running at 400watt the same running power as both LEDs . As you can see I'm already a fan of this light and I haven't even been running it under plants yet I've just had it on to see what the running temps where of the room and at 19oc does a pretty good job at keeping stable temps . I do plan on adding another P2000 in for flower The leds themselves run with 3000k 5000k warm white and cool white IR AND DEEP RED giving of a full spectrum of light , running there pretty bright and a recommended hanging height of 20inch , I've hung the lights at 5foot with the hps also and will not move my hanging height instead I'll start from 100% light and increase towards flower the amount of leds. These lights arent over expensive considering there dimmable with a great functioning dimmer switch, also I notice there built quality is superior in this category of lights and price, there solid heat sink is amazing giving the light a solid build finish the driver is mounted on the top but raised away from the board to maintain better heat dissipation from the driver and board . I didn't get out of the frist week and the timer failed so ZAMNESIA quite happily sent the same batch of seeds to start again with which is pretty class of them , big thank you These genicitis are top class 👏 I'm glad to be running them again as I do love gorilla glue they also have sent Runtz and GSC which in themselves are another couple of great strains with amazing genetic potential locked up in there seeds 😀 Started on 14-11-21 , I was planning on using hps along with this run but instead I'm gonna aquire a xs4000 from viparspectra 480watt and have the two p2000 hung at either end leaving us with 880watt LED grow ( will be insane) The seeds are all off to a great start but I'll always have great exceptions for this strains. The last time all 3 gorilla glue where frist above the soil , nows there a wide selection of strains growing and will be multiple plants also I ended up dropping 20 seeds I total 3 of them being the GLUE

D36. We started the sixth week of veg, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. Today, I moved the humidifier to the front and installed the scrog net. I'll let the girls fill the net before flipping them into flowers. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml/liter homemade bokashi juice. ------------------------------ D38. I gave each girl 2-5-liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml of humic acid. ------------------------------ D39. The girls are slowly filling in the scrog. I'll leave them for another few days and then flip at the start of next week. Removed a few leaves below the scrog. (I like to defoliate as I go along.) I moved the mushroom kit over to the side of the tent. No shrooms yet, but it will be more out of the way there. ------------------------------ D40. Brewed a simple compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, molasses) and gave each girl 2 liters @ pH 6.4. These ladies don't like too much light during veg, and I'm seeing taco leaves toward the end of the day, indicating that they have had enough. I will slightly drop the DLI tomorrow and see how they respond. ------------------------------ D42. The last day in the sixth and final week of veg. The girls are looking great! The scrog is a bit empty in the middle of the second girl, but I'm hoping some lower branches will fill those holes in the coming days. Healthy and vibrant, and they are ready to move on. I flipped the lights to the flower-inducing program after the girls went to sleep to give them a fresh start when waking up. The clones I took last week have rooted, and I'll transplant them into 1-liter pots tomorrow. I hooked up a drip watering system as I'll be traveling soon, and I want enough time to dial it in correctly before leaving. Finally, I gave the girls a fulvic acid foliar spray. One of their last foliar sprays as we're heading into flower. ------------------------------
