Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. She's coming along nicely not a single nutrient has touched her

Well, everything appears to be going pretty well. She has stopped growing in height, and the buds are filling out fabulously. her main cola is just gorgeous. I can easily hide a bottle of neuts behind it now. And tons of smaller, but nice tight colas as well. Her next week begins her flush. According to her genetics, she is 70 days from seed to harvest, and that is only 8 days away. I started germination shortly after midnight on the 1st of oct, and we had taproot within 18hrs. Her Trichromes are starting to become milky, but definately no ambers yet. Have not been able to find much info on other people whom have grown her so it will be a learning experience. Also according to what little I have been able to find, I should be happy with an ounce to an ounce and a half. I dont know why, but I get the feeling I am getting a bit more than that. Fingers crossed. Could just be my lack of knowledge saying that.

Crab meal half cup per 5 gal Alfalfa meal half cup per 5 gal I think some humic granual acid for nutrient uptake. Can’t remember Also spread out red wiggler worms “equally” to each pot. Topped some plants after video. Will update in a few days of response to topping. Day 34 last day of week 4 veg. Set the auto water system up. video update showing the system and each plant. Runt gelato does not have auto water. I’ve got 1 to many pots in my veg tent currently.

Récolte au 53ème jour de floraison

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest.
