Exciting news: we’ve added a new member to our grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We decided to get her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our plants have developed a nearly complete and dense canopy, and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Flowering day 74 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. What can I say but wow this is the star of my grow room she has it all , stress tested , heat , cold , drought lol just a monster . So.... what can i say about this grow so far? Its a Love & Hate kind of grow relationship 😂🤦🏽 On one hand, this plant is Hugh, branchy, and grows like crazy, every grower dream!🤩 On the other hand it gives me hell!😤 This Og kush phenotype is super sensitive, despite the fact that a lot of it was my fault as well... At first it was the sensitivity to the bright light, Then i realised the EC was sky rocking high! Apparently i i gave the plant lots of PH down, which raised the EC levels at around 1900! Which gave the plant a crazy nutrient burn. Luckily i found the problem, and in the past few days i lowered the EC gradually. Anyway, despite all the issues I'm having with that OG Kush, she's keep on going!💪🏽💚 As you can see the plant is very big, the buds getting bigger by the day, they are super sticky already... I had to defoliate her for the second time with gloves on haha, I do hope that from now on it will be a smooth ride until harvest, crossing my fingers 🤞🏽🌱

My favorite strain for some reason. It always survives, I thought one seed died. So I planted another...week later the other one grew. Survived mealy root bugs and all the insect soap, neem oil both altered the pH massive 5 to 9 fluctuation burned other plants but she kept going. She's smells like chewing gum fresh when I grind her up. I only dry for a day or over night because I do 4 smaller colas that don't take much time to dry. Got about an 1/2 oz or something, I trim and smoke as I go along, my grow tent is like my refrigerator , I just take some when I need it. 😎👍

Our fearless Tangie had outgrown her previous home, so we bravely transferred her to a spacious 25-liter fabric pot. With the assistance of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix, we ensured a smooth transition, providing her with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi. These underground helpers are like her very own ninja squad, supporting her root system and establishing a strong foundation. To continue supporting her growth and development, we incorporated the incredible Aptus All-in-One Pellets into the soil. These pellets act as potent ninja power capsules, packed with essential nutrients. Each watering session delivers the perfect dose of nourishment, fueling our Tangie's journey to greatness. They grow fast at this Age . Transferred them to 3gal pots this week I miss how the grow room used to be so clean lol before the huge hose was installed :p

The wait is finally over, I harvested on 07/01/25. Dried very slowly for almost 2 weeks inside the tent at 60% humidity and 18 - 21 °C. Smells very sweet, it reminds me strongly of the Purple Punch. Only in direct comparison, the Purple Punch leans more to berries while the GSC leans more to something, I can't smell out. But very tasty.

Had some issues all the seeds shells kept sticking to the codeliden leaves i know butchered the spelling im a lil late on this diary as some of the plants are a couple weeks old

Its really taken off 😊 just typical feeding routine of some nutes and just top dressed them to hopefully keep in some more moisture and help the roots expand. They've got so big I don't have much room so I just defoliate them when I can. They're all starting to smell really good 😋 just hard to tell with so many branches cramped together lol Happy growing 🌴

They seem to have packed on some decent size this week which I’m glad to see but the trichome production leaves a little to be desired. Some of the lower buds look more frosty than the top buds which seems weird to me but I don’t really know that much lol. My ph runoff has been a little low which I think has to do with the molasses I gave them which wasn’t blackstrap which I think raises ph. Anyways, next watering will be with about 7.0 until my runoff corrects, it could explain the yellowing leaves as well. But the runoff is 6.1-6.3 which shouldn’t be that big an issue so it could be something else but I’m so close to the end messing around too much is probably not the best thing to do.
