Welcome growfessors! Harvest time for Do-si-dos! This gal is looking great after her last week in the tent. She developed a little foxtailing over the past week, but she did bulk up, pack on more frost and is sticky as molasses! July 11 dry weight of 83 grams. Smooth smoke, mellow flavors.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 9" tall and the #2 a bit shorter at 7". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Compared to powerplant, LSD is very slow to get going. By the end of week 2 of flower i expect more established bud-sites, however i have been told that LSD will get busier towards the later stage of flowering. We shall see. But in terms of plant health, there are no deficiencies (not that you get any with NFT), very uniform nodal spacing - no stretch, very large stems at the bottom and the root mass is exactly what i expect. The temperature has now dropped to 14c at ''night time'' so ive had to introduce a small heater to keep the temps up whilst theyre asleep.

August 31 - Day 35 Getting there. Everything is basically the same besides the topping I did on August 29th (Day 33). The girls were on their 7th node going on 8 and I topped 3 down to 5 nodes and 1 to 6. Lost at least 5 days to a week in growth on that. But I didn't feel like they were growing enough daily to top them sooner Temp - 78 Humidity - 63 Wattage - 110 EC - 600

Decided one more week of flower. Replenished with nutrients on Monday. Will replenish with just straight water for the rest of the week. If needed, I will change the reservoir water to give it more of a flush. Plan is to harvest next week and start the curing! Excited to see how my first grow changed .

the girl is gaining momentum :) I think I'll give her another week of vegetation and then I'll probably switch to 12/12. The girl looks healthy. a little short, but I think it's only a matter of time :) good luck to everyone.:)

You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

The biggest of all girls its looking fire and starting to pumps those buds nicely now very happy with this one

added trellis netting this week to start SCROG. two layers close to eachother so I don't have to wait for entire square of growth to tuck under higher growth to keep flat even canopy. also minimizes my need for zip tie and garden ties needinf adjustment. I'm happy with veg growth thus far, and once the screen fills up with more green in a week or two these two ladies will both be ready to flip to flower. waiting on lower nodes to develop a bit more and get best use I can from a big(ish) 315 w LEC light. the girls are getting foliar every 3 or 4 days. using heavy 16 foliar only at the moment but will follow their foliar mix as grow progresses. smell has gotten much heavier, especially in nemo, the more blueberry pheno of the two, looking at the fan leafs I think V is more haze pheno with super thin sativa leaf structure.

Ok so I’m not afraid to say 7.7oz shocked me on the wet weight, I had a goal of 1oz dry being a first time grower, factoring mistakes, this and that so I guess we’ll see if what comes as I read up to 75% in weight can be lost in drying and curing….so fingers crossed I hit my goal 🤞 I harvested based on the 1st photo, I cut a small piece of bud off the main cola at the bottom to really check it under a scope and saw red headed trichomes, so checked the lowest flower and had the same results (photo 1), this was after I’d asked a question earlier based on a photo I took on a leaf and was advised to check the buds instead…so thanks for that info there 👍 Also a big thanks for the comments the looks at this diary. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and seeing how the rest of this little venture pans out…I guess we just have to stay tuned😊🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 12 Oct 2021: Harvested 16 Oct 2021: Plant seemed completely dry today which surprised me a little so I snapped stems and yus sir they were ready to be trimmed down….icky sticky, earthy, diesel, piney smells were the hints that were hitting me as I was trimming away, I have a lot of airy buds, which is on me! As a First time grower, until I actually got growing and started to understand the complexity and importance of keeping cannabis growing in stable conditions with par values on lights, feed schedules, trying to keep negative pressure in the tent with passive intake vents, adding lights, humidifier, dehumidifier, more fans…a learning experience indeed and not one I’ll be shying away from. Anyway there’s me blabbing on…..dry weight time 👀 38g/1.3oz and roughly 13g trim so I am extremely happy that even though I’ll probably lose about 8% of this during the cure, I think I made my 1oz goal of smokeable bud 🤘😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A smoke report is due in 4 weeks when it’s had a bit of time to do what it needs to do!

Week one starts today well actually yesterday Feb 9th was first day but who cares imma document it as today top dressed with power bloom days ago and top watered today Since the bottom watering pan was dry

This strain grew tall and lanky, with very compact and beautiful nugs. the frost that came out is quite incredible and the fruity sweet and piney smells coming off the plant are lovely. i would definitely grow this plant again, it was easily trainable and the node spacing allowed light to penetrate deep into the canopy, maximizing my grow surface area
