Just water this week, as it will be the last. She smells super strong. I pulled off a leaf and it smelled super skunky. I’ll be splitting the stem tomorrow, and harvesting by Wednesday.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Day 30 - Zero stress noticed since the last strip and top. Her leaves are green and healthy, and she has given me no complaints post trimming! Day 32 - Checking out her top sites, she's looking really good! Another day or two I'll start training the branches out and top them each one more time. Her fan leaves are huge and gorgeous! 😍 Day 33 - Introduced some handcuffs to the game. 😉 As the two branches on each side begin to grow out, I want to guide them horizontally away from each other. I threw some ties around each new branch, anchoring it to its adjacent fan leaf. By doing this, I am using the anchor point to help guide the growth while the branch is still new and bendy - this should hopefully lay me down an easier foundation to work with as we move toward the next steps. Now that each new branch has grown just past its first node, I will be making the last round of topping later today. I'll be putting it all together in the next video in my Let's Mainline Series on IGTV, so stay tuned because I'll be sharing that here as well! ✌️💜🌱 *** went ahead and topped each of my 4 branches at their 1st nodes. Re-anchored them down with plant ties. This girl is a beast! 💪

Really don’t have much to say been a real easy grow even tho temps been getting in mid to high 80’s lately I got a jewelers jewel think it’s cheap cause it’s 10X can’t really see the trichomes to well I seen some amber but I’m sure if it’s not cut down this week may23rd it will definitely be cut next around May 27thish

04/06/25: There’s not much to report today, which is exactly what I want to see at this stage. All five plants have recovered well from the transplant and topping, and they’re starting to look happy again. Leaves are upright, color is rich, and the overall posture of the plants suggests they’re back in growth mode. They’re beginning to bush out as expected, and I can tell the root systems are continuing to expand into the 1-gallon AirPots. Structurally, all five plants are still showing very similar growth patterns. The internode spacing and leaf size are fairly consistent across the board, and none of the plants are falling behind or surging too far ahead. That uniformity is great for managing the canopy later and suggests solid genetic stability across the seeds. If all goes to plan, I’ll top each of the four current branches in the next 4 to 5 days. That will give me a solid base for structure going into the final stages of veg. I expect that the final transplant into the 6.9-gallon AutoPot XL system will happen in about a week and a half to two weeks, depending on how quickly they root out the current pots. Ideally, I’ll be able to determine sex before that final transplant. That would let me cull any males and avoid wasting time and space in the larger pots. I’ll return with another update after the next topping session or if anything of note comes up before then.

The new week starts in a new pot, I hope the transition will going well. 🙏🏼 I will water it from the bottom, but not decided whether or not to stop feeding from top. Also she has been 3rd topped on day 27, now I let her shoot upwards. All the best little gal! 😘 DLI has been set to 35. 💡 Day 31 - after 5 days I added 4L to the tray.
