With another good week under the belt, the tent has been flipped to flower. A pre-flower strip will be performed sometime in the first week here, and then it's off to the races. I'm hoping to see around 150g without trim from this go, let's see how we do. -9/24- Performed a first week strip to let the ladies breathe a little better, looking good. Still a lot of leaf mass to go about photosynthesis, just removed the less useful leaves and a handful of sucker nodes that had little or no light exposure. -9/25- Noticing the stretch bit time. They gained about 1/3 their total height in the past couple days.

It’s the last week of flowering, and I’ve moved the plant into 48 hours of darkness to help boost trichome production before harvest. ✨ The plant has developed an incredibly deep purple color and is covered with trichomes—so much so that it sparkles under any light. The scent is amazing, filling the room with a sweet, candy-like fragrance with a touch of diesel. 🍬 When I trimmed a few leaves to prep for harvest, my scissors actually turned purple from the resin! That’s a first for me and shows just how rich and sticky the trichomes are on this plant. 😮✂️💜 I’m so excited to see how it looks and smells once it’s fully dried. This grow has been unforgettable! 😁🌿✨

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Hello everyone. The week went well, our girl is growing, enjoying a diet of 2000 ppm. On December 17.12. 2023, we'll switch the light to 12/12, it's time to start flowering. We took clones from our girl on December 10.12, 2023. The clones look healthy, but I haven't seen any roots yet, so I'm not sure whether to switch our girl to flowering or wait a bit longer. Soo week 2 girls seem to be doing good ! Been faffing around with temps and humidity as struggling to get a stable reading for both especially with the weather getting more hot! But will keep trying to get this spot on l. Will be re potting The zkittles this week I reckon ! Update : With the addition of the RAM 5L humidifier the plants are loving it and the temperature + humidity is very stable and normally reads between 50 and 60 during the day and 40-50 when lights are off following this with the the temperature during day between 27 and 29 when lights are off stays between 20 and 23 I made some adjustments such as going down to 400 watt on my ballast and it works well when it’s like an oven outside so quite happy with these readings as before my temp was over 30 and humidity would not get past 35! Week 3 slowly commences where the nutes will be introduced I have opted for plant magic ! Price was reasonable and after reading reviews it does bring results , I didn’t fancy spending too much on nutes as I’ve spent a load on everything else haha but hey we shall see how it goes Happy growing 😜🤩

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

Starting week 4 and everything is looking good, buds are forming now time for them to fatten up. There is trichrome coverage starting around the budsites and on some fan leaves. The plants are starting to put off that pungent gg4 smell with earthy undertones. I did a pretty aggressive defoliation on day 21 (11/9/18) and cleaned up the lowers with a light lollipopping. The plants stretched more than I wanted so I may have to add 1 more layer of trellis it just depends if they can hold themselves up once they start putting on the weight going to have to wait and see. The plants seem to look happy and are moving right along. Thanks for looking and happy growing!
