Wow she grew loads this week!!!!!!! She actually over tripled her height! From 21cm to 69! Incredible. Look at all her lower branches too! The massive internode length means they're almost as tall as the main cola!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. She's starting to show me why she's called Sherbet... getting some orang-ish throughout the buds & leaves are starting with a hint of deep purple. Using dirty aquarium water has been going great through flowering so far, no nitrogen toxicity. 3/11/22 - Defoliated for the last time! Defoliated so there's no moisture buildup between leaves, preventing PM. There were so many leaves, it looked pretty like a beautiful bush - but my intuition told me that those are going to hold too much moisture. Now there is enough space for the buds to fill out with even airflow throughout. They don't look as beautifully full after defoliation but they'll be cleaner & easier to trim come the end of flower. So arrives in aweek and am goj g to re adjust my grow setup again .all looking nice and a defo haze smell coming from these ladies . Til next week 😀

- Raised cal mag from 3 to 5 because I thought plant was lacking cal mag - Upped nutes but it may have led to nute burn in the next few weeks (see pics) - ~350-400 ppm for half nutes - buds starting to form nicely

Harvest on day 91 of cycle , day 54 of flowering.. I could leave it few days more for sure however my ladt harvest is nearly finishing so I need to dry this plant as soon as possible hehehe.. Purple punch has really frosty buds, it didn’t grow as much as I wish(I had to move the plant to the toilet with my burple light as there was no space for 3 plants in my 2x4 tent) but they are looking insanely good, with a strong flavor of grape, I am impressed with this smell/flavour, all covered in trichomes, I can’t wait to smoke it.. So my way to harvest it is I cut it down on the main branch and hang to dry out.. all the plant .. I prefer dry trim because it’s way easier to trim.. so now I am gonna hang it for 2/3 weeks and then start trimming.. I will update yield and tasty as soon as I finish trimming.. Overall I am happy with the results 🙌🏼.

The two surviving Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants develop well after they were planted in soil. The first pot is very small (0,25 l) and only a little watering is necessary now. As you can see in the pics the roots grow VERY WELL with the Voodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients.

After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

pH Target 5.9 - 6.2 EC Target 800-1000 Going really well. I put the second net up and it's alowing them to breathe in their own space. I really enjoy these nets now that I have had a chance to use them. Less LST, more nets for me!
