The weather has been gorgeous here on the West coast. After 2.5 weeks of veg in the Stealth Box, the Strawberry Cough Auto was showing signs of pre-flower. I planted this girl 04/16 into a 50 gallon pot in full sun. The Purple Grizzly Auto seedling is growing quickly. She’ll be ready for transplanting outside into the sunshine by next week.

I have finally realised that this experiment is horribly going side ways at the moment, however I wonder if it is due to the Winter season, growing outside or in my makeshift greenhouse, (when I say makeshift I mean, recycled plastic sheets, pallets, etc, I think all that aside, my forth cycle is going to memorable… currently I lack grow lights and fans, luckily I made my greenhouse self ventilate, though I am waiting for August(AwwDust) the windiest time in South Africa, if it remains standing and still self ventilating, I would consider it a victor.) growth would be slower than the warm seasons. To make conditions even harder, I do not have grow lights currently however an obstacle that I’ll correct, going for solar lights and solar fans, electricity tariffs are booming, luckily I use rain water stored in a 1000lt tank, no one is complaining water consumption, I feel like people don’t stress the cost of growing, if you don’t pay the bills and you want to become a grower, look for cheaper methods of growing, like for now… I am going to use the sun as my main light source, will get fans to induce positive stress.

12/8 - Today is the start of week 10. I actually changed the nutes on this girl yesterday (12/7) because I had some extra time. I tapered her down to 60% strength (down from 75% during the previous week) due to some pH drifting issues. I removed a few errant leaves, but for the most part haven't messed with her much over the last week. She is starting to pack on the trichomes and hopefully will be bulking up over the next week or two before ripening. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

Week 6 of flowering cookies Gelato by RQS Hallo again brother and sister Growmies and homies . I will be making the diaries somewhat individual per strain. They're in same tent but not same strain lol . Getting my better microscope in tomorrow so i can check on the progress. I had a small microscope but you have to ram that one into your eyes to see through it lol . The best way for me is to cut 😱😱😱 something off and lay it down. it works but still need to fine tune it a little better but amazing what you can see up close 👀 some leafes had a lot of ambers on it but the buds (not photography) are still clear so it has some way to go still. Day 41 end of week 6 of Flowering Week 6 is over Growmies what a wonderful week!!! Getting the microscope under control and starting to see the milkyway . * Increased PPM TO 1050 * I’m getting more fruity, citrus smell now. It’s not overpowering just really light. When it rubs on my hands and clothes the residue is more potent. * The 2 late flowering plants don’t seem to be progressing look the same to me. Maybe they are more on the photo period pheno with sativa dominance.

Not a lot to report which isn’t evident from the pictures. I did build up the remaining three strains to the same height as the tallest they’re getting between about 750-1200 ppfd in the centre, which seems a lot but I am supplementing C02 and there’s no signs of light stress or burn or even foxtailing so I guess these girls can take it! They’re fattening up still, always hard to tell how dense the buds are but the Gorilla Zkittlez looks like it’s gonna be the heavy yielder and might just be a touch behind the others for development. The Peanut butter cookies is still getting fatter but seems the other end of the spectrum and may be ready to finish soon, although she’s still putting out new pistils, pretty purple now too. The Tahoe OG looks right in the middle, packing on a bit of bulk now and the bud structure looks really neat and tidy. Then finally the Runtz muffin, I carelessly snapped off a top bud when defoliating last week and dried it up and it’s 🔥 already so looking forward to this one maturing properly. I forgot to put that I’d been feeding molasses for the last few weeks, just to feed up the microbes and see if it’s of any benefit.

35 day flowering Looking for the purple 😆🤘

This girl is looking great! Noticeably frostier than last year so I am excited! She smells really strong right now, lotta sweet and slightly skunky. I spend most of my video talking about how my plan for a tomato roof using stuff I already had didn't work out so looks like I'm going to Lowe's on Wednesday. Gotta get it up before the cold and rain starts in so I don't get moldy buds.

This has been an amazing growth once again and I got to do the compound genetics like been wanting to for a year. This stuff is so decked out

Yeah cool, doubled it's size from 5 to 10 cm in 1 week. And grows out of the house haha. Vegan living soil is better ,no Bugs here. Only water, a little Stick that she grews a little bit more to the middle.. Did a topping, pinched the head away with my fingers Removed some Algae an give it a little Style update Reduced the hours from 22/2 to 20/4, the plant likes it. And i like it too! Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,

F44, Hice una última defoliación pequeña de hojas abanico, estoy regando más seguido, día por medio, con una EC más baja ya que quedan pocos días para la cosecha, los cogollos presentan mucha resina, lo más resinoso que he cultivado hasta ahora, un olor muy interesante, las cookies tienen olor frutal y con algo de bencina, las stash un olor más cítrico y a pino. Todos los tricomas están lechosos, solo hay una planta que en su cogollo principal tiene un par de tricomas ámbar.
