Looking For A Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd April 2021 First of all ... Phew!!!! That was a long grow!! I've done all of the Main trimming and have a heap of Jars full of Stinky Buds ready to begin the curing process. 😍😍 It was a challenge growing in new conditions during Summer with Temps often getting above 45 degrees celcius Thunderstorms and High winds became an issue once or twice and finally the worst part was the Bloody Caterpillars 😣 Those buggers gave me the absolute shits for the last 5 weeks of the plants life . These plants actually started from clones taken from a Purple paralysis plant that I was hoping to flower last year. However due to an unavoidable trip away I lost that plant but the clones survived. So then my plan became to plant them both into a garden bed filled with my soil mix which basically consisted of locally sourced Red dirt and washed river sand mixed with Cattle manure , worm castings , garden lime and Lucerne mulch. The Plants thrived thru the summer months and into Autumn and ended up yielding 19 ounces plus Lots of good quality trim. I love this strain and have definately found myself a Keeper in this one . I'd really like to get the oppurtunity to try other strains from Cream of the crop seeds and maybe I will before too long. She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉, The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 The end of next week will be the beginning of her wrapping up with the 'Finish Line' approaching by Week 9 or 10! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we're going into the last 2-3 weeks for this lady and she's right on track, looking like a Rock Star! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Using the toilet with a 16 watt led new veg station the kings kush failed so av got Orange sherbet n do si dos 33 germination planted last night in peat pellet better Fukin sprout 🌱 av been flushing over past week and gave a good n proper flush today I will leave them in the tent for maybe two weeks ten days to try get the best results a can get a took one down early wasent dried properly but of a waste to be honest but was still about 2 oz dry and av left some foliage n a couple of buds so I can see if it will start growing new leaves am in no rush a just want tae see it so week ten days on twelve n twelve then am Goni fill the tent ⛺️ and put a scrog in prepare for things to get messy as I will hav 5 different strains and monster cropped clones so this should be interesting stay tuned @chedderbob112

Week 5 and they're popping now

3era semana. El efecto de "Amazonia" se ve reflejado en las hojas hacía arriba adorando al sol. Se la ve linda y creciendo con fuerza. Al menos 0.5cm por día. Finalizando el día 19 de su crecimiento le hice una poda apical. Por su estructura sativa y mí poco espacio decidí hacer topping y poner hacer un guiado con lst para luego poner la malla de scrog. Día 21 me olvidé de regar y se achicharraron las dos primeras hojas por deshidratación. Después de regar se la ve linda y feliz.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 10! Fuck yeah, the end is near. Can't wait to reset and put the new system in. Day 70- today marks the girls 10wk from breaking surface. Having the windows open on a rainy day is cranking up the RH. I just turned the A/C on shortly after snapping pics. Closing the windows and turning on A/C should bring humidity down. I may take GC (depending on tricomes) and make bubble out of it. Stabbing her multiple times got her hormones flowing. Still don't think it'll be mature enough at chopping day, but I'm trying to think positive. WG tricomes looking good. Up top we have a few amber, mid section they're 90% cloudy. I will try and take a pic with my scope. Tried once and i need another hand or two to make it easier. Picked a sample bud off WG's mid section. Mostly cloudy, few clear, few amber. It'll help with air flow right?? 🤣 *edit* A/C is on the fritz.. need to bring home a multimeter and diagnose. ======================================================================================================== Day 71- anything else want to break on me this week? Today my inline fan took a shit.. next day air a replacement, and hope the smell doesn't escape between now and then. Burning a little Nag Champa here and there for the time being. ======================================================================================================== Day 72- keep forgetting my DMM from work to diagnose the A/C. I'll remember one day, prob after WG is cut and hanging lol. Camera went offline for a period on day 71, so there's no timelapse of it. Have been thinking about ending it since there's no big changes daily like before. Didnt even set one for today. New inline fan installed at 6am this morning. I can tell ya after using two cheap ass fans that vivosun is louder than ipower. Both rated at 195cfm, but the new vivosun pushes MORE air from the outlet on the lowest setting compared to the ipower on high... going to have to figure out something for the noise though.. sounds like a jet engine. Lowered Temps during day and night is bringing back the terps! Both of the girls smell AMAZING. only checking tricomes daily on WG though. She determines chopping day. Mostly cloudy with equal number of clear/amber. Shooting for 50/50 cloudy/amber. Heady buds don't have any medicinal/psychoactive effect on me. Love the taste, but does nothing for my pain or insomnia. *edit* they're eating and drinking less by the day. Figure it's time to drill the girls. A few hours before lights out, late in their day. #7 drill bit right through their hearts 🤣. It sure did make GC ramp up when I stabbed it each of the 5 times. Bro Science may be onto something here... ======================================================================================================== Day 73- took another "sample" off WG. right side, if you scroll from 72/73 you'll see which one is missing. ======================================================================================================== Day 74- combination of cooler outside temps and the new inline fan have helped bring temps in the tent down. Daytime high 77F, night time low 66F. Nice swing and cool enough will hopefully bring out some purples, but not really pressed if it doesn't. The SMELL is what I wanted back, and I got it!! Not baking the girls in the low to mid 80's anymore is really helping. Dropped the TDS from 950's to 750's since TDS was slightly rising and PH dropping. Indicating too many nutes. I hung the "sample" in the outlet duct to speed dry it yesterday. Still damp, but tried anyway. This is gonna be some good bud, if I don't fuck it up that is.. need to grab a tricome pic for the diary. ======================================================================================================== Day 75- EC still rising and PH dropping.. took 8L out and added 8L bubbled/PHd TAP. Dropped RES from 668 to 365 @ 5.9. WG is looking great. Can't say the same for GC 🤣. I can't let my mistakes ruin GC rep though. It's my fault she's not making it to the finish line smiling. ======================================================================================================== Day 76- EC still climbing slightly and PH still dropping slightly as well. Went ahead and drained the RES, and flushed the WaterFarm with bubbled PHd TAP @ 132ppm. Tried to rinse some of the excessive salt buildup accumulated over the duration of the grow. Filled RES with PHd RO. Haven't been able to completely drain the WaterFarm since before the side RES was installed. So there's always a bit left over. Only took 4.2gal to fill her up. Can't wait to take a pic of the root mass below. Currently sitting at 80ppm @ 5.91. Days are numbered... watching tricomes up top, in mid, and down low for maturing. Tops 5-10% amber, mids 1-5% amber, down low still 10% clear. So... I may have got baked and had one of those.... "I know what will be a good idea.!" I give you Frankenstoned early Lst lol I know I am a novice and have no right to be messing with things that already exist, and the weighted lst has probably been done many times already but I was having fun, I had a silly stoned idea, and just for shits n giggles, I made it happen, and for me this growing thing has to be fun right? Humour aside, it actually seems to work lol. I find I am a little heavy handed and a bit clumsy trying to tie things down. I recently accidentally snapped one of my criticals branches off so my little system allows me to just lift the wires up and tuck it under at strategic points.. It is quite early to be training I guess but the wire gently pushes down on the stem.. It looks heavy handed but it is actually quite gentle... So let's see if it works or not.. I am only trying it on this 1 subject.. I am expecting for the Mazar to pull up on the weights as it fattens up but I have allowed space on the bolts to add more weight.. Other than this revelation (or massive cock up) lol. The Mazar has been struggling in the heat a bit but surviving.. Let me know your thoughts, happy growing lovely people

I continued like normal with the feed expect for one day which I just put pH correct water in the tank as I saw I little nutrition burn on the leaf tips. The temperature was difficult to maintain so I added a fan adjuster so I could regulate it easier.

Plant is recovering well from defoliation. No pistles yet but looks like beginning of flowers forming. Going to call this first week of flowers. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics which can be hit or miss.
