These are steady cruising towards the finish line. Really pretty bud structure and trichome coverage. The smell is straight pineapple hard candy. No piney-ness, no skunk funk, not even a hint of citrus. Just straight tropical fruits and sugar and a tad bit of earthiness at the end. They have been on plain water for the past week. A majority of trichomes are cloudy with about 20% still clear. Another week I’m thinking.

420Fastbuds FBT2309/Week1 Week 1 update on these new sprouts. Been a week since they sprouted and so far seems good. I did switch from misting the top soil with my sprayer to feeding 500ml of water and 1/4tsp/gal strength General Hydroponics Calimagic. Started to get some rust spots on the leafs so I'll keep a close eye and see what happens this week and decide the appropriate action to take. Over all Happy Growing

Working hard on this one tho

Besides a few leaf spots here and there everything is going smoothly, 2 waterings this week, one with just PH'd and 3ml of cal-mag water, the other with the mentioned nutes, around a half gal each watering( first time I actually used my growbig). When I've been watering, I've been going off pot weight, so no set schedule. Doing half strength compared to what fox farm suggested because of the soil still holding nutes. Going to bump it up to normal strength the coming week. I turned the light intensity down for a few days to 70%ish. I thought this might help with some stretch and the discolored tips. I went ahead and did some major defoliation this time around compared to last time as well with the goal of narrowing down my bud sites/colas. I also ended up just snipping off the FIM'd tip as it was very scrawny and funky looking. So far I'm very happy with this strain(I have nothing to compare it to lol), but I know it's time to switch to flowering in a week, two tops. Just going to keep taking my time with her and making sure we have a happy plant, not a rushed one. As always I'd love to hear from the community on what you guys think. Thank you and God Bless

I SOAKED THE SEEDS IN A CUP OF WATER, WITH A DASH OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, FOR 24 HRS. I THEN DUMPED THEM ON A PLATE BETWEEN PAPERTOWLS, AND ANOTHER PLATE(NOT TOO SOAKED-MAKE ROOM FOR AIR) UNDERNEATH I PLACED A HEATING PAD UNDER THE PLATE, FOR 24 HRS, TIIL THEY POP AND ROOT TAIL IS QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH FROM THERE I PLACED THEM IN PRE-SOAKED JIFFY PELLETS, AND PLACED THEM IN A GERMINATION KIT/WITH LID DOME. I DEFINETLY MESSED UP BY KEEPING THEM TOO MOIST. AND HAD TO TREAT THEM WITH A HYDROGEN PEROXIDE(3%)DELUTED WITH WATER, UNDER AND TOPPED. Garage grow SoCal. Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to develop and gain weight. Trichomes are coming along. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. Week 9 Flowering There isn’t really much to say. The buds are visibly getting thicker and are already starting to smell. 🤩 It’s really turned into a lush bush that I can barely hide behind my balcony railing.🥦 With the current weather, the Gelato needs 5 liters of water every day. 🌊 Today I gave it another dose of fertilizer.🍅🌱 Some leaves are turning yellow... but to be honest, I’m not worried about it yet. I switched to a flowing light cycle mid week and they all took it on pretty well. The first lingering smell is developing while they strech and gained almost 5cm in only 3 days. I removed a couple of large fan leaves, mostly the bottom ones and a pair of top leaves to give light a chance to penetrate further don the canop

we continue the run with the slowing down of the stretch and the beginning of the beautiful flowers. This week my EC indicated me some things... It was at 1.8 and went up to 1.9, so I added water to lower the ec to 1.6. When my ec goes back up it tells me that I have enough nutrients in my solution. Now, the ph is back to 1.7, I will add more water to bring it down to 1.5. We can observe on some leaf tips a beginning of over-fattening, this is what I'm talking about above, I'll let you know next week if I lower the ec or if I keep 1.5. I did one last defoliation and it was needed! If you look at my vitals, it's not crazy, 70% humidity at this time of the year can become problematic, so I'm going to take the dehumidifier out and set myself at 55%.
