Hi everyone! This is my first Growreport. It's Not the first strain I cultivate but I'm a beginner for sure. I was lucky to get 1 of Zamnesia's limited Boxes of Fruity Donutz Seeds. So I decided to documentate the Journey from Seed to (hopefuly) harvest. Its two days ago I've put one of the seeds into a dark space. As medium I've chosen cotton pads I kept lightly wet since those two days. I guess I'll put it into the final pot tomorrow.

Hi so the plants expanded rly rapidly after the beginning of week 3 and i started to tie the strong bottom branches fown so they wouldnt block any new nodes from light. I also continue to gently leaves that would block the new nodes from light. I also got additional ventilaton, in addition to the air intake. Actually i had a small accident where im sure i heard a branch snap like rly loud, for one moment i thought i killed it😰😹but there was no visual damage even after 5 days, i cant see that it would die off or feel lose, like it almost feels like its didnt mind too much about it. Like it was so loud i thought it was the main stamp for a sec, im really happy nothing too bad happened due that incident 😀

The Olympia Auto has just entered flowering. The plant has remained quite small, likely due to the intense cold stress (temperatures below 10ÂșC) it experienced—similar to other autos I'm cultivating this season. Despite its size, I'm impressed by how much it’s stretching in this phase; it just keeps growing. The aroma is still weak but gradually increasing each day. Health: The plant looks healthy and beautiful. It’s a shame that only one plant emerged from the seed pack, but even though I haven’t harvested yet, I’m eager to grow this strain again! Ambient Conditions: This week started off hot (with a minimum of 23ÂșC and a maximum of 30ÂșC), but a cold front has now brought temperatures back down (with a minimum of 11ÂșC and a maximum of 20ÂșC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I haven’t done any training or defoliation on this plant. Fertilization: I applied Ekosil (silica + potassium), another dose of bokashi, and a dose of nitrogen, with one more nitrogen application planned for the end of this week. Pest Control: I'm continuing with Beauveria treatments, and I no longer have issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared earlier. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From this point on, there’s not much left to do except watch the flowering progress.

The Mandarine Cream is in its second week of flowering and is stretching incredibly. The plant is growing nonstop, and the buds are swelling beautifully. The aroma is becoming extremely strong, shifting to a more citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. The plant is healthy and looking great. Ambient Conditions: This week started off warm (with a minimum of 23ÂșC and a maximum of 30ÂșC), but a cold front has brought the temperatures down again (with a minimum of 11ÂșC and a maximum of 20ÂșC). Humidity remains quite low, around 30-35%. Training: I’ve kept the main apical tied down, which has resulted in 12 colas. Other than that, I haven’t done any additional training or defoliation. Fertilization: I applied one final dose of nitrogen this week and nothing else. Pest Control: The Beauveria treatments continue, and I no longer have any issues with the fungus gnats that had appeared. Watering: I’ve been watering the plant very minimally, as the substrate has been staying moist on its own. Looking Forward: From here on, there’s not much left to do except let the flowering progress and enjoy the results.

While this diary won’t be meticulously detailed, I’m eager to share updates because these plants are looking amazing and are thriving. I have big plans for them, and I’m looking forward to documenting and sharing this journey with you all! This grow is special to me because it involves seeds I produced myself through self-pollination of Paraguaian plants. These plants were originally cultivated to meet international demand (especially in Brazil) and are a mix of traditional local varieties combined with popular European strains. The genetic potential of these plants is incredible, yielding robust, resin-rich, and flavorful harvests. Breeding Process: In my last harvest, I selectively self-pollinated the best plants from that crop, which resulted in 4 (later 3) photoperiodic, feminized plants from two different mother plants. These plants are showing a lot of promise, and I’m really excited about the potential they hold. Germination: I started with about 10 seeds, sowing them directly into a germination box with substrate. After multiple selection phases, I ended up with 3 strong plants. Progress: Unfortunately, I have very few photos of these plants, as I didn’t document much of their early growth. However, these plants are looking healthy and strong, and I'm excited to see how they continue to develop. Plans: My goal is to let these plants grow a bit more, then take clones and move everything to an indoor setup. With the current intense outdoor vegetative photoperiod we're experiencing, I’m confident these plants will thrive indoors when the time comes. - Substrate: I'm using a custom substrate (live/organic) mix for 15-liter pots, consisting of: Bone meal Yoorin Ekosil (potassium and silica from rocks) Earthworm humus Vegetable soil Chicken manure Isopod Compost Coconut coir Organic matter Perlite

Seeds sowed directly to moist Purple Cow Seed Starter Mix on August 20, 2024, at 2:30 UTC and all four cups labeled and placed in AC Infinity Propagation Kit. Photon flux at between 200-300 umol/m2/s, typically around 300. Temperatures maintained around 29c and humidity around 90%. I aimed to keep VPD low around 0.4-0.5 kPa but not going crazy trying to maintain it perfectly. Around 4 times a day I would remove the humidity dome to refresh all air in the kit, then mist the soil a little and put the dome back on. August 22, 2024 12:00 PM: Tent is fully ready and passing VPD control smoke testing, so I moved the propagation tray into the tent, suspended on a wire shelving unit by 4 YoYo cables. The exhaust fan is set on a cycle of 1 minute runtime at 50% power every 45 minutes to cycle fresh air. The photoperiod is 18 hours. The photon dosage is at 285 umol/m2/s as measured with Photone. Floor to light distance is 147cm. Light distance 67cm. The light is powered at 20%. Oscillation fans are at 30%. Humidifier is targeting a VPD set point of 0.6, with the goal of keeping VPD around 0.5-0.6 during germination, as temperature fluctuates with the photoperiod. 8 hours later, there were no signs of germination. 12 hours after moving to the tent, #2 and #3 have successfully emerged from the soil. #2 shows open cotyledons and a visible true leaf. #3 has not yet opened its cotyledons and no true leaves are visible yet. #1 and #4 are yet to show signs of life. I'm hoping they emerge today. I will update the success count and photos as germination progresses. CO2 concentration during these days so far has been between 1000-1300ppm. August 22, 2024 11:54 PM: I can see #1 and #4 have broken out of their shells and should show above the soil in the next 12-16 hours, I think. August 24, 2024 6:07 AM: Night conditions: 23c / 80% RH / 0.5 VPD CO2: 1080 Fans: 10% #1 - Fully emerged from soil. Cotyledons unopened. Seed shell clinging onto them. Manually removed the shell, no damage done. 24c/62% #2 - 48mm tall, soil: 24c, 57% #3 - 35mm tall, soil: 24c, 37% #4 - 10mm tall, soil: 23c, 56%
