Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. Week 7. Seems to still be filling out. Dropped down to 20 on 4 off for light. The smell is very strong! Leaves still look bad.. onto week 8

Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

Showing preflower sites all over. It's a beautiful site. I did add a little GH Calimagic to the feeding to stop the rust spots from getting any worse. Seemed to do the trick. Day 45 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Lemon skittles and XXL ammo are tall, bud nice and smelly plants! Planta hermosa, de estructura resistente y cogollos rocosos y repletos de resina. Resistente bien el entrenamiento LST y topping, pide bastante alimentos y te recomiendo lavar bien las raíces antes de cosechar si has usado fertilizantes. Los frutos desprenden una fragancia exquisita y muy dulce.

Die Pflanzen sind stark und sehnen sich nach Licht. Das Wetter ist sehr trüb. Viele Regenschauer. Die geringe Luftfeuchtigkeit versuche ich mit einem elektronischen Luftbefeuchter zu erhöhen (siehe 1 Video).

Por ahora solamente corté una de las 3. De todos modos, el tamaño de las flores para ser plantas tan pequeñas me asombró. Espero repetir esta variedad en los 7 espacios. Ahora estoy en búsqueda de un nuevo desafío. Hoy seguramente corte algunas de las Tropicana.

7/14/23 - Day 32 - Switched to flower today. It will get its first dose of 12 hrs. of daylight, 12 hrs. of dark. This will tell the plant to start budding. I'm excited to see the bud's form. So far everything with the Leaf system is going great. I'm excited to show the next few weeks as they happen! 7/16/23 - Day 34 - The plant is bushing out big now. It's getting tall. I'm a little worried we waited for a little too long, but who knows? We shall see. 7/20/23 - Day 38 - She is a few days into flower, and she is sprouting up like crazy. I bought another Scrogg net. I'm going to try and double Scrogg? is that a thing? Lol I just know that I need to keep these buds from hitting the lights. I think I'll be able to get all of this to work well, but I am nervous about the height. I can see some pistils starting to poke out! 7/21/23 - Day 39 - The lights turn off at 2am and back on at 2pm, so right now I'm waiting to open the box up for the day. But I was looking back at the pictures and trying not to freak out about how big she is (I'm worried about the lights, they don't move, and Shes is MASSIVE already) One thing I noticed about the pictures is that I have not had a single leaf turn yellow, or get spots, or have curling leaves, or have any issues with the plant. I would expect some sort of dying leave somewhere, but no. Not one single leaf has been less than perfect, I mean PERFECT. It seems like this LEAF growing box is literally the perfect environment. 6.13 F73 - Started chopping and pre-washing late Thursday into the early Friday morning. Three buckets - 1) 1/2c lemon juice, 1/2c Baking Soda 2) water 3) water - seems to have worked really well, buds are very clean and the the water definitely had a bunch of fiber and dust. They drip dried for an hour or so before being moved into the dry tent which has been between 60-70F and 50-60rh Took down most of the ScrOG Passion Berry and Deadstar from drying and froze. Gonna wash some tonight to see if it pulls well. The last five plants have been in dark since monday morning, so will cut, wash and hang tomorrow. 6.19 F80 -

1st plant, Wet, 20gr on the top. Trichomes were getting brown. Will leave the rest for a couple of days. 2nd part, 53gr, very little! 1st plant dry, total of 16 gr, very little 2nd plant, wet, 99gr, lost 3 tops to budrot... 😑 2nd plant dry, total of 19 gr, very little The sun screen imo was very affective, even using it in my tent. Smokin review will come in 2 weeks, really excited!
