160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

Hey 👋 I missed to upload week 3. In week 4 I tooped the gorilla zkittlez and FIM the wedding glue. The plants recover fast and nice. I didn't know what to look for to see in the fiming proces but the plant looking good and width. I don't know if I should make another FIM or top to them. One time is enough? They'll start flowering soon.

Another steady week, nearly there now. Trichomes are all nearly cloudy, and leaves are starting to yellow.Another week or so and we are good to go. Happy growing!👊

Day 58: Nothing important to do... just sat there for an hour, watching the ladies grow, and collected some fallen yellow leafs. Day 59: Watered every plant with 1,0 l of fertilized water. Hey guys idk what’s going on my autos it seems as if the Gelato and Zkittlez has just stop growing completely I mean there’s no change at all the Zkittlez Og is starting to fill in forming nice little buds but my other autos seems like they had stop completely I know the lifespan on the Gelato is 76-80 days from seed to harvest The Zkittlez lifespan said the same 76-80 days from seed to harvest Zkittlez Og lifespan is 80-90 days from seed to harvest And I know I’m for sure March 9th marked the 60th day on all autos and I know I stress the hell out of them overwatered etc but it looks as if I might only have one plant to successfully make it yet this is my first grow and why I choose to do autos first to give me a little insight on what I’m doing but I’m going to let these girls go for a full 90 days before I decide to trash em and focus purely on my clone grows

Die Pflanzen sind buchstäblich in der Woche explodiert. Das Volumen hat sich geschätzt verdoppelt. Die Sanlights sind auf 85 Prozent. Ich werde in 2-3 Tagen die Lampen für 2 Stunden am Tag auf 100 Prozent drehen, um nächste Woche richtig Vollgas geben zu können. Die Luft ist zum Glück sehr CO2-haltig. Die Luft liegt stundenweise bei circa 1200 ppm, im Minimum sind wir da bei circa 800, was für die Pflanzen ganz gute Werte sind. Ich habe mittlerweile einen Honeywell-Lüfter auf Stufe 2 hinzugeschaltet, um Schimmel zu vermeiden. Der Lüfter läuft jetzt auch mit AKF, den ich die Wochen davor nicht benötigt habe. Die Pflanzen bekommen weiterhin 3 Mal in der Woche CalMag (1 ml auf 5 Liter Wasser). Seitdem habe ich keine Probleme mehr mit braunen Blattspitzen. Die Pflanzen haben alle die gleiche schön dunkelgrüne Blattfarbe. Die Feuchtigkeit und Hitze, die die Box produziert, ist unerträglich. Die Stoftöpfe lassen gut verdunsten, bin aber trotzdem sehr zufrieden. Ich bin der Meinung, dass die Pflanzen in den Töpfen einfacher zu groß sind. I upped the feeding schedule to 3x10min from 2x10min. Slight odd wilting at the beginning of some leaves near the stem, it doesn't look like anything of great concern, but I'll be keeping an eye on how it develops.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 78 - She’s still got a little weight to her do not quite ready for some water. She’s definitely showing some deficiencies in her leaves right now but she’s coming down to the end so just gonna continue with what I’m doing until chopping. I might actually do a good flush tomorrow and give her nothing but water till the end. Day 79 - Gave her a flush today with 2 gallons of water and Foxfarm’s Sledgehammer. Now it’s just a waiting game for her to finish up. She’s showing some amber trichs so it’s looking like she’ll be getting the chop this coming weekend. Day 80 - She’s definitely started to fade quite a bit now and there is a ton of amber trichs. I’d like her to make it to the weekend but I’ll chop her sooner if need be. I think she’ll be ok and make it though. Day 81 - More and more ambers showing everyday and I’m hoping she’ll make it till the weekend to get chopped. If I gotta chop sooner, I will. Her buds are nice and fat so looking like this is going to be an awesome harvest. Day 82 - Nothing new, just waiting until the weekend to chop. Possibly Friday after work!
