More haircuts this week! I am very aggressively trying to keep up with the canopy growth. I'm continuing to remove the small branches underneath the canopy - more or less stripping the undergrowth, while defoliating around the growth sites that have made it to the canopy surface. I'm unsure of how much more growth to wait for before I send her into flower. Maybe next week? Who knows! Not me! Hah! Happily accepting any advice from any experienced main-liners out there! 😉 She's been super thirsty - I have to add a gallon every few days to keep up! I also started adding some p31 Microbes to the reservoir to see what I can see. 😎

Much better harvest to end this first greenhouse grow. 48g dry on this plant. Still quite airy, but resinous and great smell. More relaxed effect than harvest 1. I could have done with another week or two with her, but the humidity was regularly into the 90s, there was very little sun and nearby tomato plants were starting to grow mold. I cut and ran, I need these meds to get me through the winter. Final total for both plants 59g. With a bit of luck, this should keep me medicated for a while. Indications are good.

Nice strain to grow overall especially for the terps it produced, yield was more on the low side as expected from one for these "hype" strains or whatever you want to call them.

It was so sticky trimming I did a wet trimm then let them dry for 7days. Then cleaned up the buds a little more before putting them all in the jars. I'll update on the taste and effect when I finally get to try it !. Gorilla glue #4 is up next but that wont be starting till may .. update gave it a little try and is already stronger than the Acapulco gold I bought online

2/6 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.1 at 5:30pm. 2/7 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.2 at 11:00am. - Today I did an inspection of the girls and Sweet Baby James is a confirmed hermie and the damage has been done! She has opened pollen sac's in a few different spots and released her pollen, some directly onto my fans 😐 Looks like I'm in for a seedy harvest, oh well. Long Shanks is still stretching like crazy! She is now 64" tall (5' 6"). She has at least tripled in size since the flip. She is also now starting to form some nice flowers too. 2/8 - Reservoir EC 1061, PH 6.2 at 9:00am 2/9 - Reservoir EC 1057, PH 6.1 at 10:30am 2/10 - Reservoir EC 1125, PH 6.1 at 11:00am. - Surprisingly no sign of pistils fading/shrivelling. All pistils are still white and sticking straight up. I'm praying that Sweet Baby James is shooting blanks 😉 haha. Will keep a close eye out for signs of pollination. Sweet Baby James is still growing like crazy! She's nearly at 6 feet. Over twice the size of her "sister". 2/11 - Reservoir EC 1085, PH 6.0 at 6:00am 2/12- Reservoir EC 1087, PH 6.1 at 10:30am - Pistils are still showing no signs of pollination. Now I am starting to get my hopes up that Sweet Baby James is an infertile hermie. I really hope I'm right. Long Shanks is still stretching!! She is turning into a tree and quickly running out of space in her new, much larger home. Hopefully she's about done with her insane growth spurt. Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.
