Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. D01 - 25/09 -> New Home for my fellows clones coming from one of biggest plant I ever saw: a Royal Queen Seeds Skunk XL D02 - 26/09 -> I think she has a little zinc deficency, so i dropped down to ph to 5.5 D03 - 27/09 -> Topped one girl to see what happens. If everything goes well, I'm going to topping all of them. Increased EC until 1.3 D04 - 28/09 -> Topping of other buds D05 - 29/09 -> Rest for the girls. Increased EC until 1.5 D06 - 30/09 -> SCROG Net Setup and a little of defolation. Tomorrow I'm going to cut all the branches below the red line (see picture). I want to make a main lining alongside the SCROG Net with 2-3 branches and cut off all the branches below except for the girl on the left that is too short yet. D07 - 01/10 -> I Cut off the branches of only one girl, waiting to see her reaction to the stress before to do the same to other girls. Increased EC until 1.8.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... 2 weeks since they went in the ground and have doubled in size. And wow, the 2 weeks they had. 2-2.5 inches of rain, 15 mph wind a few days and about 8 days of clouds. Check out the video from week 6 and this week to see the change. Or the pics of course.

Plants recovering well …heat is causing some problems in the indica room otherwise all is well …1 more week till flush then 1 more week after that til harvest

She is lagging behind. I've been trying to grow an OG Kush for 3 seasons now. The first shipment I received they were all duds, the company sent out more seeds to replace those but the second shipment never arrived & now from a different breeder this one is a little droopy and sad.

Merry Christmas growmies 🎄 I hope you are enjoying the holidays with friends, family and Cannabis ✨😁 The Purple Haze is entering the final stage of bloom. For me this is a great time as the plants are finally at their prime. As you can see in the pictures the buds have grown big and fat. The resin is also covering most of the sugar leafs and even though it's not snowing outside, thing sure look frosty in the GTools 😅 I inspected the trichromes today and most are cloudy, no amber just yet. Going from the strain description this could be the final week before harvest. It would be cool to close off this year with a Purple Haze harvest but as always I let the plant decide when she's ready to be harvested. The pistils are still mostly white, but my main indicator are the trichromes. The two plants in the back are both a bit bigger (and have fatter buds) than the plant in the front. So maybe this one will have to grow for a week longer to reach her full potential. The plan for this week will be just giving just water and no nutrients, lower the temperature and see if I can nudge the ladies in coloring the leafs to a nice purple hue. If they don't it's perfectly ok, I'm happy with how healthy and frosty they look anyway. Let's see what this week will bring us! I just harvested my first flush of shrooms today. July 27: she has started preflowering already so I’m going to go with just phyto-forcing with a far red 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk each night. This will be easier than putting them in the garage for 12 h a night for three weeks. This is a good trick for northern growers. July 30: doing great and seems to be flowering so all is good. Video shows how easy it is to make lazy compost tea which the plants definitely love. July 31: watered in early evening with compost tea. Aug 1: I’m a total tea convert now. Plants always love it.

I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. On week 8 i just gave these girls a water feed because i been dealing with ph problems so i ph my water at 5.0 - 5.4 for about week and a half to try and bring the levels downs so far its been working the ph reading today was round 7 -6.9 so happy now we can move forward. Did a lil Lst today to get the new site growing taller. So happy growing and cheers

this specific phenotype grew with no side branches. single massive cola. haversted at day 87 strong earthy/flowery smell. i definatelly recommend Glue Gelato auto. and i will try my second run asap
