Good week... she's grown a lot, is looking VERY strong - #1's stem is already pretty thick for such a young plant.... so I think I'm going to let her get a couple more nodes on her and then top and clone her... #2 is a little weaker so I think I might top her this week. I've put them both on an aggressive veg feed and they're both responding very nicely to it... such a difference from autoflowers! I find it fascinating..... so much so that I tend to rather ignore them... for example, I think I MAY have given them a drink of something only 4 or 5 times in their lives (they've just celebrated their 4th week from seed)... never any complaints, never saying "hey, fool - pay attention to me!" .... I glance at them once a day and move on.... Still trying to decide where in my yard they're going to be planted - but I've got at least 4 more weeks before I'll feel comfortable enough with the weather to go dig a hole for them... SHOULD also start some LST, I suppose.... going to be relying on LST a lot outdoors so I can hopefully avoid the bud rot that plagued me last year... Great fun! May 4 - I've decided I'm going to top #1 today and stick the top in Clonex, into a RootRiot and plunk it into a DWC bucket ... so while I'll have these two plants out in the yard waiting for an October harvest, I can flip the clone indoors for an earlier harvest to see if I like the strain at all.... Hmmm... maybe I'll do that to both of them and keep one in veg while I flip one of them... This is kind of cool - I'm learning about all the possibilities growing photoperiods gives you... just amazing! I'm like a kid in a candy store! LOL! I'll put up a video when I top and clone... but don't take it as gospel because this will be my first time and I don't REALLY know what the hell I'm doing... just having fun and experimenting! May 5 - Happy Cinco de Mayo! Didn't get around to topping and starting a clone yesterday... but I've just now posted up two videos - the first where I'm determining where to top - and the second, longer one, where I place the top I've just cut off into DWC to clone... or ATTEMPT to clone! LOL! God knows if this is going to work... if you've got any comments on what I've done, hints for a better way of doing things PLEASE comment below! I could use all the help I can get! Should I, for example, chop off the lower fan leaves of the top? Or are they needed for the top to survive? I can't help but think they're a pretty big drain on the poor thing... #1, which is the one I topped, is really showing me she needs to get outside in the yard... her roots are starting to peek through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot.... I THOUGHT a 2-gallon would be big enough to last at least a month and a half but..... I'm going to have to get serious about where to put these ladies!

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

Ok had to start flowering this week because of overall height now I see I should have got a taller tent but oh well. Started 12 on 10th I believe also moved some wires around and got a few more inches out of the light so I'm at 19 and 20 inches from lamp can't get no more unless I move exhaust fan light is now 75% started feeding terpinator its supposed to increase taste we will see later on also gave first dose cal mag I think I was borderline calcium deficiency plants really looked good after cal mag also feed unsulfered blackstrap molasses half dose tiger bloom and full dose open sesame cutting down on my nitrogen a little. To bad I can't smell shit right now been sick past few days probably got covid for real. The one branch on my one plant has an extra thick stem on it and at top extra leaves coming out guess its a mutant from to much nitrogen unless someone else know what it is overall it's been an ok week can't wait for the next few just hope I don't get to tall

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the Sour Diesel still has about a week to go. I could chop it down now with no complaints I think, the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, but I’d like these foxtail like growths to fill out, if possible, now that they popped out. Think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s why the GG#4 had a few nanners pop late, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense but look a little weird with foxtails and the tips are stretched strangely and can see a bit of the centre stalk on a few lower and further from the light. The foxtail growth is also happening lower down as well which makes me think genetics, I dunno? Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. 6/29/2021 - New mains for quadlining growing out nicely since topping. - Watered with un-PH'd de-chlorinated tap water. - Foliar fed with DIY kelp extract. - She's jumping out the gym, very excited. - It's been 5 weeks of alternating DIY nutrient teas (coconut water + kelp extract + neem & karanja extract + water) and un-PH'd Toronto tap water, and I've seen no signs of deficiencies or lockouts. - She's taking well to the various DIY foliar sprays as well, no burning. 7/1/2021 - I think one of my bottle sprayers is infected with butyric acid, 'cause it stinks in here, loll. - SHE WANTS TO GROOOWWW! 7/4/2021 - Growth a week after topping is strong. Hoping the auxins in the kelp foliar, and nutrients in coconut water are responsible. - I barely need to train her right now, it's as if she wanted to be topped. Besides some periodic light bending, she seems to be leveling out her branches herself.
