Week 3 update, so far so good. Observed both plants have shot up in height exponentially roughly 4 to 6 inches between both of them. The larger one has essentially taken 3/4 of the tent surface area and is growing rapidly with tons of bud sights appearing. the smaller one is showing good growth as well but has essentially been outcompeted overall. both are growing tons of hair and there smell characteristics are pretty different overall. I'm sure they'll only get more pungent. the one on the left has more of a catpissy lemon thing going on and the big one is like pine, sweet, limes. Pictures will show smaller one appears more green. I've noticed yellowing on the lower foliage of the one plant around mid week and after speaking with a fellow companion I've decided to stop dropping ph to 5.8 and really just focus at 6.0. I've also started using sturdy stalk after considering the benefits and raised the light around 4 inches. No complaints so far

Have been trimming some cover leaves off the top of the canopy to allow some light to hit the lower buds, actually seems to be having some positive impact! The girls are looking lovely, after the herms were gone from last week I decided I was going to say fuck it and use the beastie bloomz on my remaining 2 plants. They seem to be loving it! No signs of nute burn or anything at all after 2 feedings, at half strength (1/8 tsp/G). Buds are forming nicely. Definitely 2 distinctly different phenos for sure, one is going to be fat and fuely, the other seems like its leaning more towards a sativa look, almost has a pink hue to it when I look at them. 🤤 Smell is also starting to come on fairly strong at this point as well as trichome formation. Other than the hermie issue I'm kinda diggin these things so far!

The stretch is slowing down, and the first pistils are appearing across the canopy. The SCROG net is full and the lollipoping has significantly improved airflow.

Week 9

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

The 3rd and final girl has been trimmed, weighed and placed into curing jars! She added another 78grams making the total come to 219grams! I'm fairly happy with the result of my first grow! Id like to thank the community here on growdiaries. Without the hours I've spent looking through diaries, getting ideas, and learning, I've found this site invaluable! I hope my fellow growers keep on taking pics and sharing their experiences! Being my first grow and having to deal with manitoba flood humidity during late flower i believe i ended up with a decent harvest sitting in my jars. I really look forward to growing another photo strain in the future and perfecting my results but I think I'll be doing a run of autos first so I'll be back 😎😎 Post cure edit: These frosty buds matured into a dream to smoke. They really kick your ass and leave you breathless in a nice indica daze. Would not recommend for medical use for anyone with lung issues or super old smokers... but if you got some young lungs and wanna get fucked up, some good old OG kush will get it done boy! all nutrients are in ger section. in round about one month it is harvest time, if she keeps going as well as she already did. hst and cutting sunleafes seems not to harm her too mutch.

Well guys , quick kush is just about to finish and its fire ! i give her his last feed , now i’m gonna make an hidric stress to her . Critical 2.0 is like 15 days about to finish and looking nice and fat ! Chem Beyond diesel has 3 weeks or so to go , smell really nice ! Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

Day 25 - accidentally snapped a main branch. Taped her up; She's only holding on by a thread! Day 28 - The broken branch is still alive! :) Watering with 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water every 4 days!

Finishing up this run. Two plants have been chopped and I’m waiting on the final three. Pulled the two earlier than I wanted but it’ll just allow me to learn more. Hoping to chop these next week. All about the fade.

We’ve now reached the third week of flowering, and I’m thrilled with how well my plant is doing! I adjusted the nutrients recently, and it’s definitely made a difference. The plant seems to be thriving, and the leaves are showing a vibrant green, indicating that it’s getting exactly what it needs. Even more exciting, the trichomes are starting to form all over the buds, and there’s no shortage of them! It’s amazing to see so many trichomes developing this early on, giving the plant a frosty look already. The overall growth is still going strong, and the buds are getting fuller. I’m really happy with the progress so far and can’t wait to see how things continue in the coming weeks. I hope this nutrient adjustment keeps everything on track for a great harvest!💚🌱

I know that it may seem like a lot of nutrients at first. It’s not. A lot of those mycorrhizae ingredients are mixed into my soil well before the germinated seed goes into the pot. I make my own mix of soil using some of those ingredients. I like to use the great white mykos because of its powders consistency. Makes it easy for a clean transport from germinated bean to its forever home. For watering, they have been given only plain RO water with a neutral ph. Just yesterday I gave them a little tiny mix of Medusa’s magic, Zeus juice, and Gaia mania. I have used Oregon’s only brand products for a while now and I absolutely love them and better yet, I understand them. They have responded super well already to their first drink of bottled nutes with a ph of 6.3 . I’m keeping a RH between 50 and 60%. I’m also keeping a temp during the day at around 78-81°f. Right now I’m not worried about a night time temp but I do run cooler lights for about 4 hrs every day, dropping to around 70-75°f. Eventually I will add my second light boosting me from 600w too 1200w. Also they will begin a 20-4 hr light cycle. I find these autos do amazing with a little rest for 4 hrs. Allows me to pull more resin and color in later stages of life by dropping the temp lower than usual with the lights off.
