This week was explosive! I bumped up the grow nutrients and added the Bud Ignitor at 1/4 strength. I also increased the water amount progressively building up to a half gallon by the end of the week. Mid week I stepped the exhaust fan up and increased the light to about 175w. I started the “new to me” training method as well getting some nice light down into the side shoots and lower canopy. Rings were left on during light cycle and misted with plain water and rings removed before lights out. This week I also dropped the tower fan to the floor and brought the clip fan down a foot above the canopy and am running on the same schedule as the humidifier. 12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I foliar fed them with big bloom and fulvic acid a few times today and gave them about 4 ounces to drink. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Gary Payton has had a slow start but it is starting to stack really nicely. I think it will probably be the longest stack plant out of all the ones I’m growing. The plant already has the distinct Gary Payton smell All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

What up fam, weekly update on these ladies. They're progressing beautiful and starting to get close to being finished. I'm thinking of washing these as I think the fruity tropical terps would be amazing. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The only plant left was the Jack Herer and it is its last week 😎 I watered it twice with clear water before chopping it down. After the harvest of the two other plants, the humidity in the room dropped signifcantly. If you are interested in more detailed graphs about the plants heights vs weeks, see the harvests. Man these ladies are stacking javelins! Colas galore throughout their canopy. Sexy and healthy! 1 lady got a touch taller than the other 2. Shes been super cropped again to reduce her height and even out the canopy a bit. But the other 2 are getting quality exposure none the less. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Budds are fattening...but.. one day I forgot to turn back the fan after inspection, and it was off for a week almost. As a result i have found little fluffy white patch of mold on my biggest budd. So far I just sort of collected it, with a cotton stick.. hesitant to chop it down. Lowering watering, to 1l every 2 days, to keep humidity below 70. By the plan I am keepimg it through the June, 4 more weeks. Unless trychoms will call earlier. Thanks for checking See you next week

This Gorilla bomb is come from cloning. In veg. stage, she was trained by using LST at the early veg. stage and then using ScrOG net and a little HST on some stem (Super cropping). Now flowering stage, she was lollipop 1 week before I'm flip light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Hey Cannafam, Its been another mixed week for my gal. Starting with the weather most days have been raining if not cloudy, again with high humidity in the 80s -90s. Unfortunately i spotted a bit more rot startin a few days ago in her main cola near the top, again its been caught early and was removed early but its not ideal and shes being watched very closely atm. On a positive note todays been lovely and sunny and the humidity has now started to come down a bit which is welcome, the weather for the next week although not hot will be mainly dry on the local reports! Feed wise shes had one feed this week to which ive added a weak boost of PK13/14 to aid flower development. Shes filled out a bit more this week both in her central cola and the lower branches. Trichomes are mostly half clear/half cloudy with a few ambers, so this gals got a little way to go yet in her development for that optimum heavy Indica stone.
