It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. The plants look very healthy, on day 17 of flowering, the lollipopping method was applied and leaves were radically removed. Flowers become larger and larger and resin begins to form. Flowering day: 17

Day 98 - still flushing, still waiting for amber trichomes. I've harvested a couple of bits last week & they are drying now. Thats why she looks a bit lop-sided.

This new week started better as with some flushes I brought the runoff back to 6.5/7, the plant seems to be growing well

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

LoL, a little bit of burning on the edges of the leaves, not too much to worry about Progress looks very good Her bud is growing slowly, but dense I made the feeding with just a bit more than 1 L, about 1.25L the molasses is not measured, i just took the back of a spoon and dipped it, and stirred it into the watering. Do keep in mind that i'm only using about 80 watts of light (cob led).

Dec 9: They are looking pretty good as far as I can tell, having trouble debating to cut off some fan leaves or not, this is my first ever grow and I don’t want to stress it out any more than it has. The way I trained the plant is definitely suboptimal, next time I will plant the seed off to the side a bit to have room to bend. Also should I just continue with tucking almost everyday or cut the troublesome leaves covering bud sites? And the bottom node, should I skip the chutes? Is it okay to cut things off at this stage of its life? They are definitely still in preflower as there are only presence of the “V” hairs at each budsite, and smell is very weak.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong with my autoflowers but regular plant looks and smells fine. Also 2 cols with mutations looks fine, really glad for it😇

Week 8 of Flowering. I think in 9-13 days i Harvest them. Trichomes get Browner everyday. Woche 8 der Blüte sind im Endspurt. Wahrscheinlich werden die in 9-12 tagen geerntet.

This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. 12/15/2020 12/18/2020 Last 3 pics posted. And she is smelling nice definitely like nothing I have grown , I got to taste the mom and it is very good! Hope I can do as well as the previous grower did🙏 It's cool this week so holding back on watering as she is still perky and pot is heavy still, if it gets colder I'll use seedling mat to raise temperature a little, also hope she can take cooler weather outside in the spring.
