1 - (03/14) Starting my new seeds, my other order for the Barney's never came in the mail. Must be "lost"... Decided to go get something semi locally. Picked up 2 strains and got the free Early Miss as well. Germination has started as of 03/13, paper towel transfer at 03/14 (approximately 16 hours later). Tent is sanitized and the new LED I'll be running is almost here. (Decided to wait on the full spectrum) Following guidelines as per Crop Kings recommendation for germination. We'll see in the next 48 how well they have developed under the paper towel. This plant will be grown alongside the Early Miss and quite possibly the GSC from Sun West Genetics as well. The GSC and EM will have separate diaries, so be sure to check those out as well! This grown will be done in the Indo 4*2*5 tent. Happy growing! 2 - 03/16 - Looks like a good start to the germination. 48 hours after they were dumped from the glasses. Waiting for those t roots to get a bit bigger yet. 3 - 03/17 - 72 Hours later, forgot to get in the tent and remoisten the paper towels last night, just got up at 4am and they were pretty dry. Tap root looks to have lost some moisture, I'm just hoping I didn't already fuck them up this time. Shouldn't have drank so much on my 30th. Happy Saint Patrick's day to y'all! Hopefully they suck up some water and bounce back by midday. Going to put them in jiffys or rock cubes tomorrow. 4 - 03/18 - Planted in their first pots. Due to the nature of my last grow, I've decided to start the other 2 girls in a jiffy. Placed the jiffy into a smaller pot (approx. .25g?) That is filled with my Mo Koko, gia green organics 4-4-4 all purpose, 40% worm castings and a higher 60-70% perlite ratio. I plan on testing the runoff from the pots and the Early Miss is in a felt pot, so I figured it would be a great idea to accommodate for the additional moisture those felt ones hang onto. Probably going to uproot the EM tonight and transfer it to a jiffy as well then get it into a plastic pot. (Edit - decided against it) I'm going to run two 3 gallon pot sizes for both of my autos and eventually upsize to a 5 gallon for the GSC PP. Going to get some nicer domes today. Getting pumped. Almost through the germination process and onto Day 1 of Veg. 😎 Video update later today! 5 - 03/19 - All the girls are popping up out of the soil and should shed the seedling casings within 24hrs. Off to a much better start! The EM somehow came out, big surprise to see it. Not as pronounced as the other girls, but nonetheless. Stoked. Ended my day by them officially being in Veg Day 1. 6 - 03/20 - Well yesterday was officially day 1 of week 1 in Veg and as of this morning all 3 girls look great. Definitely feeling more confident this time through. 7 - 03/23 - Made some adjustments to the diary, measured the girls and corrected my Veg days. Moving forward, I'll do week to week updates on the girls and daily pictures of growth progress. 8 - 03/26 - Day 7 for all the girls. CC is definitely on the weakest link list. The EM has shocked me entirely. GSC is progressing as I figured she should. Today I am finally going to scoop my new light. So stoked 🙌 Girls get to go into week 2 with a heavy adjustment on their total wattage. I'll update later this evening with a photo update and video of the new light and the girls. I attempted some LST and defoliating over the last couple of days. I wasn't overly confident as it was my first time so I decided to take a different approach with each plant so hopefully I don't mess them all up haha

This one is definitely taking her time but its looking like the end product will be worth the wait, im getting an almost lemony aroma from the tent now. Edit: 5 days on I've just started the flush since trichs are turning cloudy.

Growing and growing.

Day 60: Week 4 of flowering! She is still taking heavy feeding and looks very healthy. Some leaves at the very top tacoed a bit. She grew tall and a bit close to the light but no big deal, she is handling it well. Im still not sure if letting her grow more internodal space was a good idea. I believe she is getting more light in between branches and growing larger buds than the Tangie because of this. I'll wait to the harvest to compare both results. Day 63: Watered with Plagron Bloom, Bud Candy, enzymes and a little bit of CalMag. There is a little bit of wind burn on one of the lower fan leaves but it is expected since my intake is right in that corner. She stopped stretching and her buds are becoming bigger and bigger!

That's how I know the crop was harvested too early:( ..... but only because someone started visiting my place of cultivation and took my two girls, and left two, so that he wouldn't come back a second time and take them, I decided to cut her down earlier:( that's it such news awaited me when I returned from vacation, but overall the girl looked very beautiful, although she got a lot of stress when the snails ate her, but she endured it and recovered very well:) I will dry the bigger flowers and make bubble hash from the rest, good luck to everyone be careful in nature :).

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Beginning of week.. Such weird bud structure.. Love the smell.. Fruity asf.. Since nights haven't been as cool as they were before, the colors seem to have stopped on the calyxes. The old ones are still purple, but the newer calyxes don't have any coloring.. Still a pretty mix of purples and greens.. The leaves look like they should not be an issue when trimming whatsoever.. They are huge.. Even at the tip top of the colas, so far.. The lollipopping could have been kept a node or 2 lower.. I should have nothing but massive top colas tho.. I can live with that.. Lol. I'm still finding my sweet spots with alot of things lol.. Trying to use a LUX Meter and convert to PAR to figure out how much my girls are getting. Lately, I've burned a few tops.. Not too bad.. didnt hurt the yield or trichomes too much.. But noticeable.. So I'm trying to find the sweet spot and still be able to just cut the power of the light down, lower the light toward the canopy so I can also avoid the summer heat which is coming.. So far, I can run this light at 50%, but keeping it about 14 inches above the conopy.. By harvest, I should be able to get away with 75% power at about 12-14 inches.. Just one plant and the footprint of the light is pretty wide.. So it should still get branch to branch pretty evenly.. Stoned ramblin hah! Mid week.. Wow.. These colas are getting massive! She didnt stretch much at all, if any. So, I lollipopped a bit high, in my opinion. But these colas are gonna be so massive, it shouldn't even matter at this point lol. She has ALOT of leaves and they are REALLY getting thick in there.. There isn't much airflow getting around these colas.. I should probably get a fan on there.. Or maybe defoliate a bit.. Not sure really now.. But damn, these colas are HUGE!.. they aren't very long, but holy shit there are getting so fat! Very fruity scent.. Pretty strong but still has plenty of time to get even stronger.. Wow. This autoflower is nothing like the White Widow auto.. That's for sure.. The white widow buds stay kinda small.. Airy.. They must have used a different auto to breed with.. Or maybe the white widow reg. version just isn't a big yielder.. Blah whatever.. This girl needs something changed quick tho.. Either a fan or defoliate more.. Or both.. A growmie just had some bud rot on one of his heavy yielding autos.. Never had the issue before and I don't plan on having it EVER. This is a very good, productive week so far. Next day.. I had to defoliate for sure.. And even pulled the branches down a bit more to help open her up some. I did not expect these colas to do this at all.. I even raised up my oscillating fan so that it's moving air above and below the canopy pretty well now.. Should be fine 🤞... Another thing.. The leaves are SUPER dark green.. The tops have some clawing and the leaves that are hidden away (mostly sugar leaves) do too.. I brought the FloraMicro down to .66 mL/L but I think I'm going to go down a bit further.. My last grow did this too and I went down to .5 mL/L and still ended the run with the issues.. So.. Damn.. Should I just cut it out completely? The colas are already so damn huge.. I just need them to swell up a bit and I can already tell I'm gonna be more than happy with the outcome. I guess I will just bring it down to .33 mL/L.. Eaiser to measure out that way for me too.. She shouldn't struggle or even notice any change.. The only thing I could see hurting is the lack of the Calcium in the FloraMicro.. But I'm going to see if bringing the Micro down that much will help this claw crap from spreading.. So still very happy with this run.. Not bad, ILGM.. Not bad at all.. End of week.. Yeah definitely going down to .33mL/L on the FloraMicro.. I'm sure she will be fine till harvest.
