Good week my diesel glue is really starting to branch up after topping at the end of last week I have continued 4days ago and today moderate defoliation I need the Poppin Cherrys pheno to get growing lol, I had a cultivator mystery stain, not last grow the one before that had a decidely slow start but bloomed into an exceptional phenotype, hopefully more similarities than Early leaf structure

Eight, nine, it's boring we say, we're sleeping all day. Frequently the tiny leaves we count, while the real show happens underground. DAY 8 Watered 0.5L water just to add some Enhancer with Trichoderma, forgot to add to the soil. :) Pots still heavy. DAY 12 Needed to water, so she got her first Booster Tab alongside Easy Plus Micronutrients, dissolved in lukewarm water + added compost tea. The tabs dissolved well, now let's see what they can do! 🚬 Compost tea is very well for organic grows imo. I added just a basic mixture of worm castings, kelp, and molasses. Diluted to 20:1 for the babies. Will make a tutorial on my compost tea recipes later on! :) I also added nematodes for fungus gnats, saw some of them bloody critters flying around. :argh: Watered 4L. An intense heatwave has been rolling through the grow environment, making it tough to dial in the VPD. The air is very dry, and since I don’t have a humidifier (yet), mitigating the high temperatures has me stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fortunately, I’ve reached flower, so a drier environment isn’t the worst thing in the world. But it’s definitely been a challenge! --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: Around 2.23 kPa Temperature: ~30°C Relative humidity: ~40%

Not much to say this week, they are thickening day to day, not as much as I wish they would but still more then happy with how my first grow is going so far. I increased their nutrients as they started into week 6 of flower. Thanks for your help with the potassium deficiency over the last week, appreciate everyone helping me out ☺️

At the beginning of the week I found many leaves with spots on them. I think I might have had some mites. I removed almost all of the leaves and sprayed the ladies twice with CannaCure. Now everthing looks ok again at it should be only a few days until the first ones will come down. Checking trichomes everyday.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Too late with the ph issues on the 1 plant... Not 1 issue with the second plant. Either way they are both gorgeous girls!!!

5/10-Last week went well. She is still growing like crazy! The clones are growing super fast also. I can't imagine what it will do once put into the ground. It's a super drinker and is a very vigorous grower. It takes all forms of training with ease such as topping, lst and supercropping. Hope it's a colorful plant so it will look nice when done. Will be going outside in the next 2-3 weeks from today. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

📆 Week 13, 29 July - 4 August 2024 29 July - 4 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Aug - Turned light power down to 65%. 📑 Pablo continues to grow and slowly mature. Trichomes were checked this week, looks like they are all milky in color with no amber at all. I decided to turn the light power down to 65% for 2 reasons: to help in maturing the plant, and to avoid any bleaching because of being too close to the light. The DLI was actually closer to 50 at the top of the canopy, so lowering the power brought it back into the 40 DLI range.
