Tropicanna Banana is all done. 2 weeks in the jars to cure now. got just over 2 ounce of this plant so not too bad. should be a good daytime smoke.

26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. 1.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 has started flowering. The size and shape of her is quite laughable 😅 Retrospectively I started the LST too early and went in too heavy with it too. That obviously wasn't a great idea. Still, this is my first run attempting to do LST, and I have a whole bunch to experience and learn from here! 😅 We may get lucky with a stretch. Who knows right. I remember this one was supposed to finish really early, like 10 weeks or something so hopefully will get at least a bit bigger 🤞 Also the new growth is still a little bleached out. Hopefully the switch to a functional PH meter will correct the imbalance which may have occurred due to my previous one packing up. Snipped another couple leaves which were annoying me 😅 I realised this is one of the pots I put my clay pebbles the bottom of. So I've probably not been watering enough, as she's right at the back, and assuming all was good because the pot was heavier. Removed a couple of leaves from Bubble Kush

We checked trichomes last week nearly all were still clear but the density is amazing.. these are still showing slight signs of nutrient burn with little change from a week of water so we'll give it another and then one last heavy feeding to finish the grow out with water.. Day 29: Low VPD due to shitty weather....... about 0.8 kPa at 23C. Girls happy - nothin' to bend or weave today. Still dark green - no signs of overfeeding in new foliage. Drain (average): pH 5.9; EC 2.7 Roots keep pentrating the pots. 👍 Day 30: Girls happy - nothin' to bend or weave today. Still dark green - no signs of overfeeding in new foliage. Drain (average): pH 5.8; EC 2.7 Roots keep pentrating the pots. 👍 Day 31: Girls happy - nothin' to bend or weave today. Still dark green - no signs of overfeeding in new foliage. Drain (average): pH 5.9; EC 2.7 Roots keep pentrating the pots. 👍 Day 32: Did a little defoliation - just cut a few odd lookin' fanleafs and some smaller foliage at the bottom of the stem. 65g total. Further i keep opening the canopy by moving some shoots to the next square of the net Still watering daily. Plant 3 is way thirstier and bigger than the others. Plant 2 spills out the largest amounts of drain...... but she's not far behind them other girls. Had to crank up the vent to get humidity out..... i'll keep defoliating carefully - that'll help it ;-) Day 33 & 34: Now they really wanna get tall...... since they so bushy, it's a bit tricky to feed them to the 'right' next square in the net....... LST-wise i have to admit, it would have been better to 'open' the canopy by binding the shoots down, instead of just flatten it out, by supercropping. Though it produces a lot of growth, it's kind of a chaos - hard to organize and almost impossible to open up for more light. Huge fanleafs pushing out everywhere. Plenty of foliage in the lower canopy - it's a mess somehow😶 Numbers in the drain are fine now (about 6.5; 1.2) so i'll start feeding nutrients again. Day 35: Fed nutrients - PH 6.4; EC 1.1 Drain (avg.): pH 6.3; EC 1.8 i'm taking out some leafs of different sizes - just a few at a day...... so there will be a bit more light and air over time...... Plans for week 6: - Organize canopy/scrog - carefully take leafs out - keep checking for nutrient levels

This is chopping week. Im starting to see more amber trichomes so I know they are right there. I will most likely chop tomorrow morning. These plants are absolutely beautiful. Truly showed their fall colors and the potent aroma they both are putting out. So excited to get these dried and cured so I can finally test them out and give you guys a smoke report. This plant is a week behind the other 3. Coming right along despite snapping the main stem when manipulating, which seems to be healing after bracing and wrapping. I need to finish LST and defoliating before the end of week 6. I fed this one a slightly reduced amount of bloom and micro compared to the other 3 this week, so we will see how she responds. I added blackstrap molasses this week and will be adding it every week herein, albeit at a low concentration. I am already using powdered cane molasses so this is just to diversify the carbohydrates and micro nutrients in the soil. Pictures are day 42

2x2 Homegrow 👽

This week marks Week 18 of veg for the Pineapple Upside Down, and things are getting interesting. The plant is still pushing hard, stacking growth on all sides — more height, more volume, more density. She’s clearly in that phase where she’s comfortable, full of energy, and ready to take every bit of space you give her. But that’s exactly where the challenge begins. Right now, I still can’t move her into the bloom tent. There’s another plant finishing inside, so the space isn’t free yet. And that delay changes the whole strategy, because this girl is getting tall — fast. So the main question of the week is the same one I’ve been wrestling with for a while: Should I let her stretch and plan a SCROG, or should I top her to keep things low and contained? And to be honest, I’m still not ready to decide. I want to see her in her final environment before making that call. Transplanting into the bloom tent will change the lighting, the airflow, the VPD, the root-zone rhythm — and I don’t want to shape her structure blindly before she settles in. On top of that, she’ll need a short acclimation period once she’s transferred, so there’s no point in rushing structural training now. It could do more harm than good. So for the moment, the rule is simple: don’t touch anything. I’m keeping her on the same settings, same nutrition, same EC, same feeding schedule. She’s clearly thriving, and when a plant is this comfortable, the smartest move is not to interrupt her momentum. You can feel she’s building up internal energy — thicker stems, fuller leaves, faster node spacing. All of that will pay off in bloom, as long as I manage the height correctly once she moves to her final tent. This week is all about timing. Letting her grow, monitoring the stretch, and holding the decision until the very last moment. The more I watch her, the more I realize that patience here is probably the winning move. For now, she’s healthy, beautiful, vigorous, and still accelerating. No signs of stress, no burn, no deficiencies. Just a plant in full confidence. Next week should be decisive — hopefully the bloom tent will finally be free, and I’ll get a clearer picture of the strategy: SCROG or top. Until then, she keeps growing… and I keep observing.

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚 Very nice phenotype with an extremely good smell. Growth was normal after the initiation of flowering. Looks beautiful with its jagged leaves 😃. El día 31 de floracion cambio las 3 plantas traseras de posición para el moldeo lumínico. El día 35 ya han dejado de crecer por lo tanto les hago la última defoliacion. Han crecido y ramificado bien, veamos cómo engordan. Empiezan a producir bastante resina/tricomas. Han terminado todas entre 90-105cm, menos una que se ha quedado en 80cm, aunque no es problema.

Added co2 this week finally and the terps coming off this beauty now are unreal pineapple and mango every type of tropical fruit smell you can think of, my mates just chopped one of these and it’s potent it’s like Cali seriously amazing strain probably my favourite upto now

Little green crack is filling out nicely and looks to be a week or so behind the others , tied her down and regular defol and hopefully gonna get a decent yield still . She’s a lil cutie .

SUMMARY: Still continuing with early bloom nutes this week. I ran out of rainwater this week for a few days and had to make a batch with tap water. Had some issues with humidity and temps now that the RH has naturally increased due to the size and bushiness of the plants and so I have had to turn the dehumdifier on however this raises the temps and so its about finding a good balance. I did a heavy defoliation on day 44 stripping almost all fan leaves and any lower small shoots which wont ever get enough light. I also raised the light again so that it is 16" above the canopy of my tallest plant which is a few inches taller than the NL. To mitigate this I raised the NL up by a couple inches or so. DAY 44 -------- Sunday 14th February 11:45 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water (no rain water left), 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Sunday 14th February 18:00 I did a heavy defoliation on the NL stripping almost all fan leaves and any lower small shoots which wont ever get enough light. I also raised the light again so that it is 16" above the canopy of my tallest plant which is a few inches taller than the NL. To mitigate this I raised the NL up by a couple inches or so. I fed the NL 2L of early bloom nutes which produced 550ml runoff (28%). [24°C/46%] DAY 45 -------- Monday 15th February 18:30 I fed the NL 2L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 800ml runoff (40%) I THINK, as I spilt a bit in the tent. DAY 46 -------- Tuesday 16th February 11:30 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with rainwater, 5L at a pH of 5.8 and 5L at a pH of 5.9. I forgot to turn the heat down over night and the humidity is at 56% currently. [22°C/56%] Tuesday 16th February 18:30 I fed the NL 2L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 1L runoff (50%). Shes still not back to her normal intake before the defoliation which was only 2 days ago. I turned the dehumidifier on and set it to 45% as the RH had climbed to 62%. [22°C/62%] DAY 47 -------- Wednesday 17th February 12:00 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water, 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Wednesday 17th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.7L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 820ml runoff (48%). DAY 48 -------- Thursday 18th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.2L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 670ml runoff (56%). Shes still hardly drinking much so I will dial this down to 1L tomorrow. I adjusted a couple of ties to expose more bud sites. I had to move the light up again by 2 inches to accommodate for growth as it was sitting at 14" above the canopy. [24°C/52%] DAY 49 -------- Friday 19th February 18:30 I found the tent at 28% RH. No idea how that's occurred but I did notice it was hotter then usual this morning. I turned the dehumidifier of for a couple of hours and it jumped back up to 61% and so I will just set it to 55% RH. I fed the NL 1.5L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 500ml runoff (33%) so it's looks like she may finally be bouncing back after the defol last sunday. [24°C/52%] DAY 50 ------ Saturday 20th February 11:30 The tent temp has been sat at around 23°C overnight somehow. The dehumidifier keeping the humidity around 45-50% seems to also keep the temps between 23-27°C. Saturday 20th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.5L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 600ml runoff (40%). Looks like i have a humidity problem and so ive reluctantly removed some more leaves from Jesus as she is bushy again after a week or perhaps I didnt defol enough. If I have the dehumidifier off the humidity is in the low 60s but if I lower it to like 45-50% then the temps stays too high between 24°C-33°C. [22°C/64%]

Hi Growmies, I topped her towards the end of this week and removed two sets of fan leaves. It opened the plant up very nicely in combination with the light LST I applied earlier in the week. The plant is taking very nicely to the LST and didn’t seem to care about the topping either. I attribute this to the strong root system she already has. For the next week I have fed her additionally to the canna nutes, some plant success orca, for healthier roots and Rezin from greenplanet to prepare her for pre flower. Well I cut down my beauty ms. lemon haze, she was such an amazing plant! She is very easy to grow and isn’t to demanding. She goes with the flow as long as you feed her and give her enough light. She ended up producing some seeds, during the process. I noticed when I started cutting her big fan leaves, that a few buds had some seeds inside them. Her buds still look amazing! And the seeds look great. However, here are some pics of her drying process I will let y’all know how much ended up on the scale before I burp her. Again everyone thanks for watching the grow up. 🙌🏾🔥🌱
