Week 18

🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃
This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩.
Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity.
September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars.
Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano)
I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil.
For the moment the flowering continues.
-Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged.
-Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch.
-GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way.
-Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa.

Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out.
Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth.
I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent.
I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short.
This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm.
This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period.
Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower.
There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing.
I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

Day 29, pistils! So happy!
Day 30 broke the main stem LSTing, so taped it up & fingers crossed it works.
Couldn't save the main stem so I removed it. The rest of the plant seems pretty happy though.

7/14 MONDAY 428am.
7/15 1140am Tuesday . These are the nutrients and amino acids enzymes I will be using and a new way to use germination station experiment . mesh fits 10 inch planter can be outside tent safe from bugs!!!
7/16 245pm putting her in 4 inch glass cube thing or maybe Bud Cups, or put the rock wolll in the Bud Cup

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. So I don’t do nothing to it, I drink it:) Thanks for the view 🤜 Have a great week!

Great week both inside the tent and out this week. Inside they've been fattening and frosting up like crazy. Carl 1 is 50/50 on pistils and still mostly clear trichomes, I'm thinking 2-3 weeks. UKBS 1 is 80/20 on pistils and starting to cloud a little more, I'm thinking 1-2 weeks in that department.
Outside, I've built a little greenhouse thing for the plants to chill in, out of the extreme winds. They've been acclimatizing fairly well to the low night temps and very hot days, but that's not to say they're entirely thrilled with it. Hopefully they take fully and flower out well.
EOS Rebel T5 shots coming soon, tomorrow or the next day.
6/24/2021- Had some rain overnight, structure held up and kept the moisture out. Came outside to totally dry plants, and it'd been raining for several hours.
6/25/2021- Got the EOS T5 out tonight, got some real good shots of both plants. Carl 1's HUGENESS and UKBS 1's frostiness are definitely showcased well in my opinion.
-Timelapse is out this week. Should only be another couple weeks on the indoor plants, probably not enough for a month. (unfortunate as the youtube "Month" Timelapse is going up this week.)
6/29/2021 - Fade on both plants coming in nicely. Purple and yellow on Carl 1, and a much darker color scheme on UKBS 1.

Day 38 and it is very fast as this baby has developed, it responded very well to the LST which gave it a more resistant structure with which it will support thicker flowers, it begins to fill with resin with a pleasant citrus / sweet smell.
In the next week I will start giving you an overdrive to promote fattening in all the flowers

Shame on me… habe den taupunkt am morgen deutlich unterschätzt. Täglich steigt die LF phasenweise bis auf 95%. Solar ist praktisch, Zelt darf aber nicht draußen stehen!
Der grow hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, trotz einiger kleiner Fehler und Unachtsamkeiten meinerseits! Die Damen sind super und werden wieder in den Stock zurückkehren, konnte sie leider nicht voll bis zum Ende bringen ca 2 Wochen zu früh. Nächste mal weniger Pflanzen oder mehr entlauben und mehr umlauft dazu. Komme vom outdoor Growen und habe enorm viel Neues kennengelernt!
Banana’s & painkiller XL sind noch im Spiel ohne jeglichen Schaden oder Betroffene stellen von Schimmel. 🐝

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

The weather in my country suddenly got warmer unexpectedly. That's why I'm having problems with the temperature. Still, it seems to be going well for now.
I watered on the 51st day. I will do it again today and with full fertilizer.

12/9/2017 - The stretch these girls put on when they hit flower is insane. I'm getting ready to add bamboo stakes for support because I already can tell they are going to have massive nugs on them. They jumped from 9-10inches tall to just shy of 24 inches in under a week. They have now stopped all veg growth and are starting to pack on pistils already. I just got a new bottle of mammoth P so that will be added back into the nutrients starting now.
12/12/2017 - Definitely 2 completely different phenotypes. One is extremely tall (30 inches from pot) and stretched out with a bunch of long side branches. The other is shorter (24 inches from pot) and bushier. It will need some leaf tucking during flower for sure. They are both responding very well to the environment and nutrients (I got more mammoth p finally!!!) I've also used bamboo chutes and this gardening velcro tape stuff that I love to support all of the branches. Based on my Gold Glue grow these plants are about to produce some monster buds that the branches wouldn't be able to support.

I think the flush helped, It had the run off after this feeding at 300 ppm so the back to back heavy feedings not a good idea, have some burned leaves and lost some time lapse days but they seem to be doing ok. got 4-5 more weeks till finish I think I will let them go as long as i can to get all the buds to develop. of the 4-5 weeks left I will feed lightly 2 more times and water in-between until the 2 weeks of flush. I really need a new light with white LEDs the color correction is all over the board. any recommendations for lights let me know.

Week 5! All those pic are from the same day. First pic is before transplanted in 11 liter pot ( I took off the weakest plant cause just 10 fit in my box) the soil is made of light mix and warm casting but I top dress with:
70/30 of 444 and 284
- 1 Tbsp per gallon
Rock dust -1Tbsp per gallon
I sprinkle the root ball with mycorrhiza and water with compost the of warm casting and molasses brew for 24 hours.
Then I put the scrog net and bend all the plant under it, I use the cropping technique cause most of the plant were quite strong as u can see from the pic.
Ps: don’t mind about the sound of the first video I’ve just been unlucky cause they pass in front of my house while I was make the video😂

Great week! Slight nute burn going to add great whit every other feed till flush.
Hairs starting to turn more orange and buds look like here putting on weight, she sways different in the wind! Excited to see how she changed over the next two weeks want to say the smell is intense i live 3rd story apartment and you can smell it first floor no problem! When your rub very very sweet chem i cant tell if the berry is still there dont want to rub the lady to much!

Probably can't really call it SoG, but at least they are more ore less on level.
Had a plant that was ready for harvest, and I'm going away for four days, so they got some pruning, a little top soil and water with nutes. I was going all organic, but they are getting quite big so I gave them some advanced nutes BigBud.
It's always thrilling to leave them, and four days is long water wise.... But they usually enjoy their time alone. As long as lights, and air is on point... First run without any nutes issues and they look happy 😁
