Week 18
Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙
🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃
This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩.
Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity.
September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars.
Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano)
I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil.
For the moment the flowering continues.
-Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged.
-Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch.
-GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way.
-Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa.

Monday 8th March - DAY 17
Leaves are curling slightly and I still have some yellow tips please can someone advise if this plant is healthy? Or what I can do better?

She’s looking more healthy today which I’m pleased about I’m just letting her soil dry a little before I up the nutrients. Happy Tuesday! 🍁
Wed 10th March - DAY 19
Soil was looking a little dry this morning so gave her some more water and nutrients (lowered the dose from last time as advised by a few people.)
Thur 11th March - DAY 20
She’s looking ok I think maybe a little on the short side but hopefully she’ll catch up over the next few weeks!!
Fri 12th March - DAY 21
She’s rather small I think for day 21 I’m putting it down to trauma from the light drop? I’m not too sure but i could just be impatient!!

Poor babies! They've definitely had a rough start. I'm fairly certain now the issue has been too much moisture in the soil. I believe there are a few factors that have had an impact:
1) Obviously, giving them too much water. In the first week I gave 90ml into their 1 litre pots over two waterings. I thought this was okay because the top soil was completely dry between waterings. Someone suggested that seedlings don't need additional water for the first 10 days so I'll try that next time
2) Feedback I've had is that my soil mix is quite heavy @ 63% soil, 25% Coco, 6 % perlite + 6% vermiculite. In future I'll increase the perlite portion to about 40%
3) Also, I just noticed that the plastic pots I'm using have very small drainage holes. I think this has caused moisture to accumulate at the bottom of the pot. Yesterday I pushed my finger all the way to the bottom of the pot and it is much wetter at the bottom than at the top.
So yeah, tough start. But they're still growing, albeit very slowly. I trust they'll survive.

Time for chop down, I know it won't be a big harvest, but I don't mind. Not really after yield, just good quality herb.
The beautiful pungent yet subtle fruity aroma excites the cuoristy in me and I can't wait to try her.

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F.
I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain.
Stigmas are all formed, very vigorous bud structure. This beast still shows some signs of K deficiency despite feeding her regularly. For now, the nutrients are barely enough to stabilize the typical leaf discoloration. Gonna double the dose. Critters avoid her like the plague. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week.

😎 she looks healthy but the weather hasnt been the best so shes growing a little slower than i would like. going to transplant into a plastic pot to see if that helps. Just going from a 1 gal to a 3 gal. I'm hoping this will help keep the roots warmer at night promoting more grwoth. no idea if this will work but just brainstorming what could improve growth. seems to be slow going into flower but hopfully she starts picking up speed soon. I think i'm just used to the tent hahaha our weather is not the greatest for cannabis

Day 28 flower.! 😏Almost halfway. Had to get a larger area bc the 10x10 bedroom wasn't cutting it. Hard to water when plants fill tha whole room😭. So I upgraded and got a 10x20 workshop behind my house and wired a 100 amp subpanel in there so I should be good for abt 10K watts next grow😎... if I can wire my whole shop on FaceTime with a friend who is a certified electrician then trust me anybody can do it. Yes it was my first time wiring ANYTHING in my life. Which is crazy. It pays to have great friends.

Still no Feed/water since Tuesday.
Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal.

De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water.
Watered each with 250ml and had small run off.
I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups.

Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.
They each had 300ml with small run off.
All looks incredibly happy and healthy!
The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others.

De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L
Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L
Used 300ml of the 5L solution.
I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation.
We'll see how they perform 💪💚

Slowly but surely this small but beautiful lady goes to an end.
I guess it's gonna take this week and another full week until harvest.
Neighbors are telling me sometimes they think I'm outside smoking but it's actually just this little plant producing a strong, pleasant smell.
Okay it was faster than I expected but the trichs were ready in the same week

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started.
The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off.
Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region.

Sooo both of them are healthy had do drop down a bit of the nutes because of some burned tips around the plants, but other then that they are doing good, they are starting the bulk up slowly, but I think about 4-5 more weeks and its chop time!

Hello,, fin de semaine 6.🤟
Les plantes ont très bien récupérées de leur défoliation de la semaine dernière. Le feuillage est redevenu bien dense.
Je les passe en floraison aujourd’hui. J’ai donc fait une défoliation pour laisser pénétrer un maximum de lumière. En espérant que cela leurs soit profitable. 🤞

I’m not too sure how much EXACTLY I grew with this run but I did buy a TerpLock curing bag and it was a one pound bag with about 25% headspace for the buds and they were a bit on the fluffy side so I’d say a little over a quarter pound

😀Well the other plant just kept giving , I am very impressed with the Spiderfarmer led , but we have noticed a demand for more calcium , or phosphorus I’m not quite sure which myself 🤔 Today is Sunday 19th , Day 79 from seed into cube
Looks nice , very frosty , but dark , like a blackberry , I’ll post a smoke report in a couple of weeks
Small plant gave 524 g of wet buds on stalks , bigger one gave 1016g of wet buds on stalks ; there is some popcorn 🍿 but it’s such a small amount maybe 100g wet
I’ve had my first smoke today Sun 26 , and I would give a smoke report , but I’m too stoned so I’ll try again tomorrow 😜

Small plant gave 96 grams of super dark purple , plant 2 dropped 188 grams , this one is my favourite at th3 moment , it’s more sativa and tastes beautiful.

So as we step into week 6 things are starting to shape up nicely
Seedsman - strawberry banana grape are fantastic frosty and loads and loads of heads due to me topping
Seedsman- peyote gorilla wow I have not smelt bud like it before wonderful and full of thc
Inhouse genetics- dolato is one frosty girl and starting to pack on weight
Inhouse genetics- platinum gushers 2 different phenos one throwing out more people's red
Inhouse genetics- slurrcaine smells like heaven and is the most dankest in my pheno hunt
Phoenix seeds - super kush I brought these over from my last run very fast strain and smells really sweet
Zamnesia seeds-larry bird kush 3 different phenos all smell different can't wait to see the out come
Barney's farm - phantom OG I don't know where to start with this just simply dank
Seedsman - bubba kush was a freebie which I didn't care about or take clones and omg its probly one of the best smelling plants I'm running so Im going to reveg it I can't lose this pheno
Seedsman - super silver haze OG another freebie what I got and am quite pleased with
Last but not least Seedsman- limited edition wedding cake 😋 I'm excited for this one but takes quite long to pack on the weight all in all I'm quite happy

Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week.
Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me.
I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway.
Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today.
Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...

Week #13, week 6 of flowering :
Everything went well during the week, maybe except the fan falling down right in the ScrOG ... damaging some stems, but after tying them to some sticks it looks ok, I don’t really see any difference in the pictures by the way. Tough genetics, I’m really happy with all of them, I can’t complain on anything. There’s buds everywhere, all dense and hard, this is what I like. 👍
Reducing BIO Bloom ( not Organic Bloom ) just a bit for this week, it might be one of the last feeding with Alga-Max for some plants and probably the last feeding for a few of them, I don’t know yet all depends on how it turns during the following weeks.
👉Tip for new growers : you must stop adding any PK boosters 2 weeks before harvest ☝️
Mars-Hydro SP 250 is very effective. I’m growing 3 small plants between the ScrOG’s, was using my tubes for seedlings to give them a bit more light but nothing was really happening, they were having a hard life trying to grow some buds. But after just a lil bit more than a week under the SP 250 they started to make buds, getting fatter and denser, even the small nuggs in the bottom are getting some light which was impossible with the tubes !
