Week 18
Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙
🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃
This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩.
Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity.
September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars.
Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano)
I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil.
For the moment the flowering continues.
-Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged.
-Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch.
-GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way.
-Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa.

The plant the seeds and pollen cam from a seedling I grew from a seed found in a Bag of SFV that J was given 3 of I back crosses the best with itself !!

This week has been fantastic I have no very few tiny branches have slight problems dying from the amount of nutrients that I use but the larger cola nuggets grew extensively

6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Jack Herers have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and her leaves have smoothed out, there's virtually none of that glossy, dark green, twisted and gnarled growth. They are looking great!
6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation
7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Jacks. They are looking stronger and stronger each day.
7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy!
7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!

WEEK 20
Soooo, we’re pretty much at the end now. I harvested the plants on the last day of this week, and I was thrilled.
During the final week, I mostly watered with plain water, except for a bit of Green Sensation that I added. I let my CO₂ level drop to 600 ppm and also dialed back the light a bit—down to around 700 to 800 PPFD. Unfortunately, it was still quite warm here this week, so I didn’t manage to lower the temperature any further. It’s definitely worth doing, especially in the last few weeks. But in my opinion, turning off the climate unit isn’t really worth it, so I kept running things pretty hot.
The plants didn’t seem to mind the temperature much in my case. I had consistently high temperatures throughout the flowering phase, but I’ve been supplementing CO₂ from a gas bottle, which significantly increases their tolerance to heat.
Overall, the buds really got another nice boost over these last few days. I think you could let them go even longer if that suits your taste. But I’m excited to harvest now. 🙂🙂🙂

9/30/18. She still looks great. No burn and no deficiencies so far. I fed her a liter and a half . The pot is now heavy but not totally soaked. I did not water to runoff but the lower portion of the pot is wet. I don't like soaking the pots because the bottoms take ay too long to totally dry and I have had issues watering schedules.
10/5/18 Still doing perfect with minimal attention. Bumped up the amount of Grow Big last feeding with no ill effect.
Looking ahead and having weeks before the auto is done I didn't know how to face the upcoming issue of vertical space. Shes too big to LST and I did not want to top her because shes doing incredibly well and want to see what she will produce. I rigged up a scrog contained within the bucket. I did a mod years ago to a smoker which gave me the idea in the middle of the night. I might change out the screen itself since it was just what I had on hand but will see how it works.. The openings are 2.5" so it should suit my needs. I have it set at 8 inches above soil but it is fully adjustable up and down by the nuts on the threaded rod.
I plan on keeping the main stem under the screen to induce the plant to keep producing shoots and fill the area. Im pretty excited about trying this and Stay Tuned.

Day 43 this orange is running absolutely faster than the last I did. Every day flowers are getting bigggers and resin is awful to be at 42 days.
I’m really loving aptus product, but I really can’t ell what’s is pushing her so fast.
Behind, in the video, you can see another auto is a strawberry banana and germinated with just 24 h difference but is starting just now to get into flowering, same soil ‘, same feeding..

Week went good some are further along then others but they all looking beautiful fan leaves starting to yellow and purple and such on some then others they just stretching still they won’t all finish at same time I don’t think but it’s ok

Only been around 4-5 days since planting and so far so good. Drinking plenty of water so expecting a big growth spurt. Can’t wait to see how they turn out.

So week 4 is in the books. I'm really happy with how everything has been going. I've been busy and stressed these last few weeks so to see how good these girls are doing puts a smile on my face.
