07/06/2025 - Day 98 Short Facts: - 86 cm tall - VPD @ 1.0 - Approx. 900 PPFD - Fungus gnats still there - Thrips seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for not updating the diary over the past few weeks. I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

Séptima semana de estás tropicanna poison de sweet seed.. las veo bien, fuertes y engordando, rico aroma y parece q bastante recina, no quiero anticiparme a nada, faltan unas semanas y van a engordar algo más, es verdad q a mí parecer creo q las pasé a flora antes de tiempo( errores de novato ese y otros mas) pero puede ser mi parecer, pero podría haberlas dejado crecer algo más en su etapa anterior, apuntado para el próximo cultivo....💪🏻 X lo demás todo en orden, temperatura, humedad, pH, luz y nutrientes... Seeds popped today:-)transferred 3 Purple Kush seeds in to small pots 10/09/23 3 Purple Kush seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. This is my second attempt to grow GMO Cookies from 3 feminised seeds, i messed up on the first 3 seeds, i put them under a 250 Watt LED and it fried them, my folt. Growing from germinating seeds is a very delicate situation, your environment temperature needs good control. 2 Party Monster seedlings are looking good, coming along well under the 100W LED light. 3 GMO Cookies are looking good also under the 100W LED light. And i planted the 11 remaining popped SLH seeds in the brown round pot, this is just to see how many will rise above the vermiculite from the 13 SLH fems seeds soaked on 27/10. I will give these away to a friend. Both pots have been placed on a propagating heating mat for consistent and ideal germination temperature until all seeds have risen above the vermiculite. Once my 1 fem seed has germinated! i will cover the pot with a transparen plastic bag and place the pot 20cm below a 100W LED light. Spoon your seeds into it's planting medium, do not touch with fingers, spoon it in with half spoon of water and a seed, place the seed in the center 2cm deep in the planting medium, water it in again very lightly to help the seed settle into a comfortable position before leaving it to rest covered on your heating mat. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Watered and fed them in with Plagron Terra Grow 5ml to a ltr of water, i may have added too much, perhaps 2/3ml to a ltr of water would have been enough? placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. The lady was harvested. It smells extremely delicious and I can't wait to try it for the first time in a few weeks 😀. Immediately after harvesting, she was put into the drying tent. The tent is constantly 19-22 degrees and 63% humidity. After about 10 days, it is put into the glass for fermentation together with 62% boveda packs :-). Colorado Cookies and Northern Light next week so started flushing them. Glueberry OG needs a bit more time.

hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. I apologize for the few photos but unfortunately they really filled the box and I find it difficult. overall I have to say they look in perfect shape! 18/05/2023 Day 36 - Today i finally fed her after 1 week without feeding. Kept almost the same feeding from last week, just removed root juice and alg-a-mic and rised MagNifiCal to 1,5 ml/L Day 37 - Today she stretched nicely and i noticed her first pre flowers so preflowering begins, next fedding i´ll add 1ml/L Alga Bloom and Top-Max and will slowly rise up to 4ml/L Day 39 - Today i fed her again, added 1ml/L Alga Bloom and 1ml/L Top-Max and rised MagNifiCal to 1,8 ml/L. Has been hot and dry these days. (for my zone). Day 40 - She´s growing well. This afternoon i sprayed under her leafs with Alg-a-mic. Soon i´ll defoliate her, so i want to give a good dose of vitamin b so she recovers beautifully. Day 41 - This morning sprayed her again before sunrise. I wont defoliate yet. Pot is already kind of light, so tomorrow is feeding day. Day 42 - Today i defoliated, did some LST and fed her. Added 0,5 ml/L Alga Bloom, making 1,5 ml/L in total. 😃
