9/10 Went and shook the plants off. I don't think it rained. I think it's just dew. Plants with ailments seem to be progressing well and it looks like they'll outrun the pathogens. It may not be a banner year yield wise but the quality will be great it looks like. GMO is stacking up real nice. The ones in further flower are swelling more and more everyday. Earwigs MAY be back because I noticed a couple of plants where I left a tiny little branch on the bottom have been lollipopped on tje sherb pie and rather quickly too. I suppose it could be leaves dieing and rotting bit I doubt it. If they are here there aren't many and most plants are too far in flower for them to bother. They eat the lower newly developing shoots. Not big dense buds. Luckily. I noticed some pm on the gmo with pm. Looks like it's time for another treatment of k bicarb. I'll probably do that tonight. I'll keep this updated. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF STUFF. ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER APP OF K BICARB. I CHECKED THE SHERB PIE AND IT DOESNT NEED TO BE WATERED. IT WAS STILL VERY HEAVY. IM THINKING I MAY HAVE EARWIGS THAT ARE FEASTUNG ON LOWER BRANCHES THAT SHOULDVE BEEN PRUNED. I NOTICED SOME LARFY SHIT THAT KOOKS LIKE NEW SHOOTS WERE CHEWED. LUCKILY THEY DONT SEEM TO BOTHER DEVELOPED BUDS. ESPECIALLY ROCK HARD BUDS. I'LL DO SOME RESEARCH AND DO SOME FORM OF APPLICATION FOR THE PM SPOTS I SAW AND THE SEPTORIA I KNOW IS THERE. IM SUPER GRATEFUL THOUGH. THESE ARE VERY HARD TO GROW STRAINS AND I THINK ILL KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK. Also thinking of switching to cha ching shortly on the toasted toffy and the event horizon that's furthest along. 9/11 I Didn't water anything today because things still seemed heavy. I'm noticing the same thing that happened a few years back. Lower secondary or tertiary branches are getting stripped on a couple plants. They never touch the developed buds they want the new shoots. If IT IS ear wigs they are impossible to fight. I put poison down and d.e. around those plantscand we'll see. It could also be rot from dying leaves. I need to treatcsome of the plants with a longer flowering time with plant doctor. I'm going over today to spend a few hours working in the garden. I'll apply something I just don't know WHAT yet. One event horizon looks like it tried to reveg AGAIN which is super weird . I just see a lot of one and 3 finger leaves. It will probably turn out to be great. The other event horizon looks like its going to be incredible. The toasted toffy is getting close too. Temps only reached 62° yesterday. It took FOREVER to shake these plants off. Time to get the leaf blower out. I'm going to bring my trich scope when I go over today. I wanna look at tgat event horizon. Pistols are retracting on the top flowers. This may be a multiple stage harvest. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT FOUR AND WATERED. I MIGHTVE BEEN ABLE TO HOLD OFF UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING BUT I HAVE PLANS EARLY MORNING. I ALSO DEFOLIATED QUITE A BIT. BUDS ARE SWELLING CONSIDERABLY. THE SHERB PIE HAS TURNED COMPLETELY PURPLE. IT HASNT HAD ANY FLOWERS ON IT BUT NOW IT HAS FLOWERS BIGGER THAN A QUARTER! THESE PLANTS ARE VIGEROUSLY FLOWERING. I NEED TO CHECK THE TRICHS ON A COUPLE PLANTS AS THEY DONT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT. AS I WAS DEFOLIATED I NOTICED THAT SOMWTHING HAD STRIPPED FRESH BUDSITES ON SOME LOWER BRANCHES. IN YEARS PAST THATS ALWAYS BEEN EAR WIGS WHICH ARE IMPISSIBLE TO DEAL WITH. THEY USUALLY DONT TOUCH THE BIG BUDS THOUGH. TJEY LIKE THE FRESY SHOOTS. ILL GO OUT AT NIGHT AND SEE IF THIS IS THE CASE. ITS ONLYVHAPPENING ON A COUPLE PLANTS BUT STILL. THE EVENT HORIZON IN THE MIDDLE IS GROWING DIFFERENT THAN ITS SISTER. YOU CAN TELL THE STRAIN IS THE SAME BUT THIS SEEMED TO REVEG (AGAIN) BECAUSE IM SEEING SMALL FULLY DEVELOPED BUDS THAT I DONT REALLY SEE CONNECTING. CRAZY TRICHS THOUGH. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW IT COMES OUT. I TREATED THE GMO WITH WPM WITH A QTR GALLON OF K BICARBONATE FOLIAR SPRAY WITH A DROP OF DAWN FOR A SURFICANT. 9/12 Shook everything off and then used the leaf blower to try to better dry them. Weather is lookingvyo be good for the next couple weeks. Perfect finishing weather for my two that are furthest in flower. I may have to do a staged harvest. Some BOTTOM branches on e.h. are FAT and have trichs on trichs. I'll have to use my scope. I'm switching to cha ching next feed for the three furyhest in flower. Maybe four. The sherb pie had NO flowers last week but it's exploding with really compact buds. The whole plant turned purple. I need to be careful of botrytis with this weather. I've been pretty good about leaving and removing any dead or dying leaves. Even the plant in the ten is filling out nice. I have SOMETHING (behaving like earwigs) and eating "fresh" shoots. It's like lollipopping the new growth on a couple plants. I'll becstaying at the grow from now forward so I'll go out tonight and see what I found. The poison I put down seems to be gone. Anyway I'm very grateful for what I've got. I'm update as I go. 9/13 It's sprinkling a half hour trom my grow. I think it's supposed to be nice though. I found some botrytis on two plants. Two are so close to finishing that I need to closely watch them. I don't want botrytis. I applied k bicarb to the middle gmo as I saw a spot of pm. I spent a ton of time defoliating. This cold weather has brought the fade much faster. Trichs are looking good. WENT THROUGH THE PLANTS AND DEFOLIATED A SHIT TON. APPARENTLY THIS EARLY FADE IS NORMAL THIS YEAR. AT LEAST IN ALL MY CANNABIS GROUPS. WENT THROUGH EVERYTJING! STILL HAVE THE MIDDLE EVENT HORIZON I WANT TOO TIE DOWN BUT I DID A LOT OF DEFOLIATION. THIS ALLOWED ME TO FIND A FEW PIECES OF BOTRYTIS. ON MY PLANTS THAT ARE ALMOST DONE. WE HAVE GOOD WEATHER FOR A LITTLE BIT BUT I MAY HAVE REACHED DIMINISHING RETURNS ON A COUPLE. THAT E.V. AND THE TOASTED TOFFY I DONT WANT GETTING WET. THEY ARE TOO DENSE. TRICHS ARE ALL MILKY AND THEYRE SWELLING. IM SLEEPING ON IT BUT IM ALMOST POSITIVE IM GOING TO DO A SELECTIVE HARVEST ON THOSE TWO. IM NOT LETTI G SHIT ROT AND AGTER LOOKING AT THESE UNDER A SCOPE I WOULDS TAKEN THEM YEARS AGO. GMO IS FROSTY AS HELL. EXTREMELY ARONATIC GARDEN. ILL KEEP THIS UPDATED. Decided to hold off feeding and watering. Defoliated a shit ton throughout the day. Around five I noticed that my shittiest GMO with the yellow leaves had a couple dead interior branches. Upon closer inspection it looked like grey mold. A few tiny buds were destroyed but the branch needed to be removed. Jot any big loss but if it's in the shit that doesn't matter than it's around the shit that does. Found info on event horizon flowering time. Middle of September until middle of October. That could be why I'm seeing coke cans on the bottom branches of that phenome. I've got some decisions to make. I mixed up enough water to water in the morning. I'll mix up feed in the morning. Tje garden has gotten a lot of attention lately. I hope it pays off. I'm leaning on a multi staged harvest of the event horizon amd toasted toffy but we'll 9/14 Hurries morning. Mixed water for this morning last night. WATERED AND FED EVERYTHING (BUT TOASTED TOFFY AND EVENT HORIZON #2 DUE TO THEM BEING CHOPPED SOON.) Everything got a gallon of water and a qtr of food. I had to cut a couple small interior secondary branches on my shottiest GMO due to the appearance of grey mold. I also found some botrytis in both the event horizon and toasted toffy that I plan to take the tops of today. I scoped them and I'm planning to do a staged harvest. Trichs are milky with some amber. Everything is blowing up! I'm not sure what's happening but like it previous years there's a couple plants with leaves dieing near bud sites and an overall yellow appearance. Maybe it's late stage septoria. I cant isolate it due to local laws but if I have to I'll deal with it. Nothing else had anything like that. I hace noticed SOMETHING nocturnal that can eat a small branch and leave it bare. Also eat the small newly forming shoots at the bottom of plants. I shouldve taken off ALL the larfy stuff as it draws bugs but I did things a like different with each plant this year. I'm going to go through the plants again today and I'll update what I decide. Chances are the top half of those two plants are coming down. I'll do a video. 9/15 I'll have to add pics and videos tomorrow. Last night I did a final check of the trichs on event horizon #2 and toasted toffy. Everything looked great so I proceeded to do a "wet trim" outside (ill use the leaf blower to clean up) and cut the tops off the plant. I know this injures tje plant but it also makes them go crazy thinking they are dying and the buds and trichs swell. I had one plant last year I got two harvests off and a bunch of fresh frozen for concentrates. I looked this morning and I madecthe right decision. These plants are DONE. I've got another event horizon but it's not quite there yet. I'm going to leave it as long as I can. If the injured plants pick up pm or something (already had septoria) then the flower will be used for extracts or I'll do a Cervantes wash. I imagine concentrates though. One GMO isn't doing as good as the rest. Yesterday I had to cut three branches off due to grey mold on the stalk. If laws allowed it I'd isolate that plant. Luckily since I spend so much time going through the garden I'm able to find this kind of stuff. The GMO'S look wonderful (even the one with some yellow leaves that I cut the branches off) . K bicarb has kept pm at bay so far. This strain has TONS of trichs. It's like trich on trich on trich. I can't wait to try it. It smells amazing. Sherb pie is completely purple with rock hard buds that smell amazing. It's quality over quantity this year. The big one in the 50 (I think red runtz) is swelling more everyday. I'm going to switch to ch ching soon. The plant in the 10 had TOTALLY SUPRISED ME. I've never grown a plant lime this. It started out with dark purple in the middle now buds are swelling and calyxes are EVERYWHERE! This plant is growing extremely fast! You'll see what I mean when I put the pics and the videos up. I'm not going to do the event horizon harvest until I get both plants and all of both plants. It will be a while before I finish the toasted toffy one as well. 9/16 I'm glad I took those plants. Weather is good but plants were soaked thos morning. I need to go out at night and see what is eating new shoots. Flowers are looking great. I need to do another app of k bocarb sometime. I'm suprised the pm has pretty much stayed with that one plant. That two other GMO's flanking it are doing awesome! Purple, sticky stinky. It's got the whole package. The one in the 50 has some huge flowers that won't require much longer. The one invthe 10 has some time left. This is clearly a sativa dominant hybrid. The buds are swelling like crazy. It went from NO buds to having little purple calyxes to flowers that look like cat-tails! I can't wait to see what rhis year brings. Once I get things dry and manicured I'll give you guys a look at how the first stage of the first harvest went. I'm super happy. Spent a large part of this morning shaking plants by handcand removing any dead leaves or anything that could cause rot then I went over them with a leaf blower. I'll need to water tonight I imagine. WATERED AROUND 3:00 PM. MY FAVORITE GMO STARTED DROPPING. WATERED EVERYTHING A GALLON EXCEPT I SPLIT ONE GALLON ON THE PLANTS THAT HAD BEEN CUT. IM EXTREMELY TIRED BUT I NEED TO GO OUT AT NIGHT AND SEE IF I CAN FIND EARWIGS CRAWLING UP THE STALKS. WEATHER STILL LOOKS GOOD. BUDS SWELLING PISTOLS RETRACTING AND MORE AND MORE LEAVES DYING. I CANT BELIEVE THE SIZE OF THAT SATIVA LEANING HYBRID IN THE TEN!

Really late to post this week so gotta do next week aswell tonight, plant been doing really well, quite different to the others in terms of height, much higher and plant is almost touching lights, regardless she has been doing fine no problems, she seems to be able to really hack the heat as she’s not even burnt at top, fattening up a bit more now. Overall quite pleased

This grow was incredible—hands down the most enjoyable in years! The harvest may not be massive as I’m still fine-tuning my system, but it’s more than enough for me. The aroma is phenomenal, absolutely mouthwatering, and brought tears to my eyes while trimming. I’m thrilled to taste the final product!

Welcome to week 9 of my grow diary. The weather has been very changeable this week. But it doesn't seem to have had a negative effect on the plant. Due to the rain showers I didn't have to water often. I defoliated again this week. From now on I think I'll let it grow as nature intended. I have tied the longest shoots further down. The growth height hasn't changed as a result. See you next week ✌️

Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

Was an easy grow, took lst and defoliation well. Only took 70 days from seed to harvest with roughly 10-15% amber trichomes. In the last couple of weeks of flowering she absolutely stank! And she got frostier by the day, if you rub a fan leaf and smell your fingers you get a sweet mango at first then rub a bit more and you get more fruits, citrus and maybe berries 🤤 I really can’t wait to smoke some, I hope she tastes as well as she smells. I’ve made up a dry box with a computer fan stuck in the side at the top and draw vents in the sides at the bottom covered with filter. Humidity is around 54% and temp at 20°c currently in the box, all sealed for 5 days. After opening the box on day 5 I closed it up for another two days as it wasn’t quite ready. Trimmed up after 7 days of drying and I’ve been left with 64.09g of good bud and 7.61g of fluff and a lot of trim! After a couple of days in a jar the humidity is at 59%.

All 3 of these look good, some variations in structure 2 of them had much more stretch than the other one. Pumped for these ones. Everything is healthy as it could be right now. The heater made such a big difference I couldn't be happier with how these are growing at this point hopefully it keeps up. Been removing fan leaves here and there but I'm trying to hold off until day 21 and I might give them all a pretty heavy leaf strip. I read something saying defoliate heavy on day 21 and 42 to increase yields so I might give that a shot. These lights are the real deal I got a meter and even tho I barely know how to read it I'm getting much better canopy penetration and the flexibility of having 4 separate units instead of 2 is going to come in handy. Soon I will put all the shorter plants on one side and tall on the other and adjust the lights accordingly. If anyone is interested in these lights or a tent or green buzz liquids or rain science grow bags you can use the code bangdang for 10%. Pretty much everything I use will be 10% off with the code so if you want to grow the bangdang use the code. This Corona virus has hit around here and I just want to remind everyone again to do their part and try to stay out of crowded spaces, wash your hands and take care of eachother. It's a worldwide pandemic everyone can relate to and the best way to beat it with the least possible damage seems to be to isolate yourself since younger people can carry it without any symptoms. It can be easy to transmit it to your parents or grandparents that might have a weaker immune system. Better safe than sorry. I need the NBA back asap too The code ' bangdang ' will get you 10% off at the follow companies. @rainscience_growbags @growlightscience.led *NEW @greenbuzzliquids *NEW @gorilla_grow_tent Gorilla grow tent discounts extend to all companies affiliated with grow strong industries which inclue @super.closet Lotus Nutrients Kind LED grow lights

We're halfway through flower, and the girls are trucking along without much help from me. This week's only exciting thing was making compost tea (worm castings, insect frass, kelp, rock dust, basalt, biochar, molasses, and LAB) for the girls (and to kickstart my new veggie soil.) The tent has more color changes, and considering that they are clones, it's fascinating to see the differences between each plant. DLI: 42 UV: 2,5 hours per day

Well this was quite an experience, from the nice box the dutch passions come in to the germination , vigours sprouts came about, and took well to transplant. Potted each of these into their own soil and peat mix, layered seven of each i think with perlite. they got CELLMAX soil, best soil I've ever used for sure, it's horticultural soil so it's been steamed meaning no pollutants and no pests. The room itself this time i had reworked a bit, still loads of bends on the tubes though, but had a proper intake this time with a fine mesh filter so nothing got into the room. Had the pots elevated only by the time flower came around same for the CO2 so I only had a few good weeks with it. Didn't kill the plants though, so I'll review using it in my Six shooter diary, check it out . Anyway these plants veged out , and in the first weeks had the light too high for how strong/weak it was (it's crazy how close you need to have it actually!) and the little seedlings stretched some, so I LST'ed all of them. They all took to LST really well actually. The biotabs plant was the first one to sort of musle through her bindings, and i ended up feeling sorry for it and removing them thinking the bend was mostly done anyway. It didn't help that this was a corner plant and I just didnt really have access to it as nicely as the others. Anyway the LST wasnt done though and the plant fully redressed showing only a little bend towards its base at harvest time. The Mr. B's showed the best results on LST. It got bent 90° then grew out but managed to stick it's main cola out just in time i guess, so it had several mains maybe 3 maybe 4 and several side shoots. The Vertafort one took to LST the worst of the three (through no fault on vertafort's nutrient's part!) It basically got bent 90° but got held down too much by the bindings , and being a corner plant simply it got less light the whole grow, being overtaken by the other plants in the tent. Through veg though these grew to nice busheles, each in their own style, pushing out fat indica leaves , mostly being kept at appropriate VPDs. Note that the temps i've recorded are for maximum temperatures hey ! Anyway it I ended up with an uneven canopy by the start of flower stretch due to the different LST styles and the different growth rates, the vertafort one being basically stunted. During flower stretch these stretch ! lol doubled in size at a steady rate I can tell because the biotabs one was basically no longer LST'ed right? Anyway way blueberry styles not so much auto gsc styles that much I can tell you. The longer side colas a great too, they're much longer than the GSC's side colas and they have two or more flower nodes more each. By week 4 of flower the Mr. B's started to look pro, with a nice canopy and several distinguishable mains sticking out from the bush. The vertafort one was a corner plant so I just paid less attention to it - too bad for me ! Anyway the flowers themselves started to emerge with a calyx to larf ratio of 1:0 for the biotabs ones, and I started getting stoked. I could already tell from the squeeze that these would be nice and dense nuggy nug nugs just like I like them. The Mr.B's one was different though, the flowers grew all up and down the colas like they were all filled up. The sugar leafs themselves were like non-existant on Mr.B's but long and thin on the Mr.B's. Then the stacking began, last quite a while to finish up and rippen, i'd say from week 8 through 13. The trichomes reached out, filled up some, curled, in and were full white. I noticed some amber trichomes and it was time for the chop ! Throughout the grow I tried something new. From joining GD on my first grow I got loads of goodies from @Mrs_Larimar with the Mr.B's nutrients - thank you so much ! - and the biotabs contest , plus the Vertafort that came with seeds from the folks at Zambeza, Zamnesia, and RQS , all of these were dry nutrients, and I got those micro nutrients from my friends too. Great experience using dry nutrients, much more affordable on the whole, easier to measure too. That didnt stop me from messing up a few measures though ! So For most of the grow I planned to add my own micro. I had four micro powders made. One green one for early veg with all the "rare metals" in it at 2% , a bio cal mag, white powder for veg and early flower and a cal mag and mag sulfur I meant to use during flower. So I ended up giving a quarted dose of the organic cal mag most of the time then in flower still had them on a quarter dose of cal mag sulfur before i realised and switched up too late. My whole micro line up i think would cost 10 dollars retain and I had plenty of it left over i think it should last like 4 grows. Not that I'll use it again unless i can get a steady supply - a the travails of the underground micro nutrient market. Worked great though, pH neutral, i used it as spray too, next time I'll mix in humic acid directly in the same feed, because why not and because I would have massively helped. Sometimes in flower i used only calmagsulfur and maybe I didnt mix it in very well but i would dump everything on anyway , a couple time I would check after water and the clumps had formed like 3 inch crystal formations on the top of my soil... Anyone ever seen that before? maybe it's a good sign idk, i usually tried plain water to dissolve them asap. The biotabs worked great on the Colorado cookies though, that much I can say, no excesses of any sort detected, leaves weren't too dark green at all. Mr.B's turned out a BEAST , but that could be from the LST aswell... the vertafort one ended up being a very healthy plant that never lacked anything either. Around halfway through flower I started traing the colas upwards where they were drooping on the biotabs plants and the Mr.b's plant, glad i did because i think plants like to make colas going straight up right? Chopped these at the top of week 14 which is 95 days from the moment i dunked them into the water kept a calendar which I'll show you. Hung to dry for 10 days, then jarred with the 62% boveda, burped inspected daily for a week, then weekly for two weeks. I weighted what I kept lol , no small buds this time, finally my grower dream realized ! So happy i got two (maybe three phenos) because I loved the flowers on the biotabs but I also loved the yielding of the LST'ed pheno. Plenty of wasted cola space though if I'm honest, should have defoliated more, maybe done that just at the edge of veg or something, maybe next time I'll try to flux like @silky_smooth so I can keep them in veg longer and make me a couple beasts. Had to travel to for two halfway through, so what I did was to put perlite in the trays, get the pots off their grills and onto the perlite then i bottom fed plain water, the idea being that the perlite would keep the water from evaporating from the trays too quickly, just as i was loading up the trays , the nex day I saw three thrips but they were flying all wierd and all strange so i thought maybe the airflow was f-ing them up ... and i had to leave anyway. Got back and the pots were bone dry but the plants hadn't died, and the temps were way up. I think the remaining perlite absorbs heat... Anyway started top feeding them again but by this time they were showing signs of stress especially the biotabs one, the mr.b's kinda recovered, and the vertafort was healthy enough it just looked like a bit of magnesium issue. May this could be a good technique for other folks to try. Like i said the perlite might absorb heat, so remove it when you dont need it anymore (i had issues with heat). Over all these gens are yielders, had some of my best work in here, and some less good work. I like having been able to use the GD platform as a companion app, was great fun really. it's great to be able to put all your pictures up and see them side by side, i tried to keep it organised so you and I can see some interesting things like the "three stages of LST" and other interesting nuggets of info. Speaking of nuggets I'll try to get some more and some better pics of the nugs in. Hope you'll visit this again 🚀 EDIT: made some bubble hash for the first time, grower's priviledge ! only used the stems stalks and leafs for it, and it came out really delicious, smells like perfume, burns like incense and tastes like vanila and spices/hash lol basically used some bubble bags , rand the water through once, got negligeable 120s 75s and 45s but got some 25 quite a lot. ran it again, same results with just about the same amout of 25s, i thought i could go a third one, but got negligeable everything lol. Two passes for whatever that is in bubble hash lol, it's still got to dry for another week - bubble hash is kinda of the grower's priviledge, definitely recommend doing it ! 🚀

Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.
