Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

I f’d it from the start as it being my first grow😂 it’s tiny and the buds are small it’s been around 70+ days from seed I topped it way to early and was cutting any leaf off like a sausage but the mugs do look alright just not as dense as I would like but still got to flush yet so we’ll see!!

---GENERAL COMMENT--- Girls are at day 4 technically, but i like to update Sunday always, so keep that in mind, is 1/2 a week now. From germination to soil emerging took 3-4 days, no issues at all. 100% germination rate from multiple breeders till now. I will try my best to do a stress free grow again, so will grow mainly naturally. ---RQS EASY BUD--- Ironically the Easy bud is developing better and growing faster than her sister. ---DAY 10 UPDATE--- Over some days she got volume, just started to use RECHARGE, and wow, that thing works, 48H you could tell something is different, since watering with it the stem is thicker and is growing more vigorous, lets see how it will impact overall! ---DAY 14 UPDATE. WEEK 2 FINAL--- This is the last day of this week and this girl is absolutely amazing, she grew a lot, showing already the intension of shooting up more stems, i'm very happy with her, it has been a delight to grow, response in very good. Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

Decided to bring the ladies outdoors to finish them off. I have a small 5x5 pop-up greenhouse that will keep them safe from the extreme weather. The nights are finally warm enough and we have some great sunshine coming in the next week. There are only about 4 weeks left for them so there should be lots of light for them to finish and produce, even in northern Ontario. They have started to flower and have really enjoyed being outdoors. We have had some very cloudy and rainy days for the past week, perfect weather to get them hardened off to the Sun. I’ve been watering every 4 days or so, keeping the PPM average for now until I see they are getting hungrier/thirstier. Can’t wait for the good part! Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

The beginning of this week I topped, FIM, high stress and low stress training. Generally just beat them up. They sprung back very quickly. There’s a couple pictures of my FIM cuts I’m not sure what’s going to happen there, we will see I’m starting to wonder wheN I should put these in the flower. Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. Constantly taking leaves off all these girls. Trying to make space for those buds! These are some leafy genetics overall but some are starting to change color nicely for week six of flower! I checked some of the trichomes but they aren't close to ready so I didn't snap any pictures of those. But some good trichomes production from them. Got the UVB 310 in full effect right now at 4 hours. Will be boosting up to six tomorrow and continue to push for the next two weeks. Now with some updates pictures of the trichomes at day 47. Almost there!

We are in late bloom colour of the buds are more coloured (pink/red/purpple) it is maturity simptoms so prepearing for harvest

I started using Botanicare Hydroguard to take care of the roots and it works great. Got them back healthy. The light leaks to the reservoir have hopefully been resolved as well. The smell coming from the box isn't too strong and will catch you off guard here and there, but not too noticeable. You can also get a good look at the trichomes forming on the buds and leaves.
