Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, Iโ€™ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lotโ€™s of clear trichomes. Iโ€™ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽ„ I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I donโ€™t flush, but rather โ€œrinseโ€ with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse โ™ป๏ธ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. What do you think? What do you prefer to do? Thanks for reading this far, leave me a comment with your preferred method ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโค๏ธ

Great growth! Itโ€™s incredible how much faster they grow in hydro systems! Everythingโ€™s looking good Not changing res yet as the roots just started getting full into the water so Iโ€™ll give them another week to drink up whatโ€™s in there and then change with stronger nutes. PHperfect seems to be working well Keeping it around 6.0ph Got my chiller setup but made the ph jump a bit so may have to keep an eye on that.

03/12/2019 Day 81 The Dr seems to be concentrating in forming buds but I think she's grown some half centimeter, is she going to touch the ceiling? She has to know that is is confined and the sky is not the limit, at least in her condition. Day 82 (04-12-2019) The shoot at the rear left is almost touching the celiling of the grow tent๐Ÿ˜จ and i keep on tying other shoots and keeping them the farthest from the burning lights (many leaves' tips are scorched, but fortunately it's just the tip and the bud is still far from that hot point. Other leaves that are close to the lights, well, I took scissors and there's no need to speak further. Look the hard work I'm having with this plant height's issue. Goddammit why can't I have a normal grow like everyone? Day 83 just looking the video and the pics is self explanatory. No further comments ๐Ÿ˜’ Day 84 Ithe tallest shoot has reached the ceiling and seems to try to keep on growing so she needed to start bending at the very top because she wouldn't get past the tent fabric. Regarding EC, I am using a fertigation solution about 1,3 mS/cm and the runoff EC at 1.5 mS/cm. EC has been kept controlled since I raised fertigation volume to 6 L per fertigation event (1/day), unfortunately this solution containing nutrients goes to waste :( Day 85 07/12 I'lllst the tops that get to touch the ceiling and keep observing and acting as needed. I fear she'll stilll keep going up for a while. Fertigations as usual, got runoff EC 650 ppm today (1.3 ms/cm) which I think it's very good of a value. Day 86 (08/12/2019) Following advice I defoliated and even cut some thin and improductive shoots. Removed a lot of foliage and even supercropped a long tall shoot, I want to see how this high stress technique affects her. Because I plan to keep it doing if other shoots decided to continue growing. I wonder why do shoots continue growing vertical after having passed the light's level. Is it the glow coming from the reflective walls perhaps? Many questions. I decided to take down some tall shoots by suspending little weights near the tip, it seems to work more or less fine. Day 87 luckily the HST seems to have worked fine, the shoots are recovering and point upwards again. The main tip is quite unruly, today I supercropped that tip. Runoff EC is 650 ppm, perfect. Day 92 /14-12-2019) I think that despite her exaggerate growth she's managing to thrive fine with some limitations, buds seems going well. Shoots are still growing vertical but supercropping and resistance seems to have hampered her a while, but now I see she engaged on growing some centimeters more :/ Day 93 two days from starting the 14th week, despite the lights and the heat of this season (added to the lights I had to keep the tent door open for there was 32 ยบC inside) the Dr is taking it well, I see the buds foxtailing as I expected, and I'm positive this grow will get to a good end. I'll work day by day to achieve that. Regarding fertigation, I gave her a solution half concentrated (relative to the solutions that I had given her the preceding days) because I noticed salt build-up by the EC measurements. I left run off EC at 800 ppm which is still a bit high for my liking but not excessively. For the amount of runoff I collected today, I see she seems to be drinking a little more.

noticed some stunt in growth but its normal in this stage , i think in a week i can start seeing the results in terms of bud quality and smell, shes healthy, the stems could be more stronger, but for an auto i dont mind Used defoliation technique and took off 70% of the leafs, i think she is loving that extra light on the lowest branches the gorilla glue on her side stayed smaller but with many budsites too, did the simple LST bending technique with her Regardss AlgarveP. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Evening fellow growers hope you all had a great weekend. Massive shout to James @RQS for supplying the beans for my current grow. โš ๏ธ I add photos as the week progress so please stop by and check out the progress. Day 29 the start of week 5, we have started to flower so I will add some flower nutrients this week. Really happy with how these 2 ladyโ€™s are progressing. Very bushy low riders. Letโ€™s see what this week brings. Day 31, watered today, upped the amount in water too 1 ltr as these girls are growing. Also added bloom into the mix. I will take some current photos either later today or tomorrow. โœŒ๏ธ Day 32, just leaving these ladies to it. Low riders ๐Ÿ‘Š๐ŸปโœŒ๏ธ Day 35, the end of the first weeks flower. The front one is nice and short with an even canopy the back on I topped and havenโ€™t really done much else with as didnโ€™t want to stress her anymore. She is loving life. Watered with plain water last night will most probs give another grow feed then onto the bloom. Been rather cold the last few days so hopefully they will be ok. โœŒ๏ธ Once again thank you all for stopping by and showing the love. โœŒ๏ธ

Week 3 starts Poundcake #1 is on Day 15 as of 25/07 the rest are between day 11 and 14 Poundcake #1 suffering slight light burn from me putting the se3000 power up to 75%. Its back down to 65% now ๐Ÿ˜… The two smaller pots on the right are in coco not living soil. Just keeping them indoors for now why not ๐Ÿ‘Œ Added a organic seedless straw mulch for more microbe friendly activity and help prevent the fast drybacks I'm getting with the current heat ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

At 91 days from seed, 36 days into bloom, she is drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. It has been a little warm in the tent which has caused her to drink more. Since she is drinking more than normal, the tips of her leaves look a little burnt. I think my nutrient levels would be fine if she weren't drinking so much. It's only slight burn though so she'll be fine. She still smells great but is actually one of the less pungent plants I've grown. So itโ€™s a nice smell but its not overpowering. It looks like its going to be a bountiful harvest. I upped the terpinator added to the minimum recommended dose suggested by the manufacturer. Not much to do but wait and watch her put on weight.

First week of flower๐Ÿ‘ They got 2 hours extra darkness before flip. Not because of scientific evidence, but simply practical. Still looking back to the first weeks of veg. WHAT A MESS and WHAT A MIRACLE ๐Ÿ™ Coming into flower, they had two defoliation and the latest one was 7/10. Last feed 8/10 Introducing Biobizz CalMag(0.5ml/l) + BioBloom(0.25ml/l)+Topmax(0.25ml/l)+Rootjuice(0.25ml/l) Still 2ml/L Fishmix+BioHeaven(Fishmix will be switched out with BioGrow) ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰10/10 VPD is 1.2,-1.3. good airflow above and below canopy. ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰11/10 Mild signs of light stress. They will get used to the VPD. Can't wait to feed in a couple of days and see the reaction. Im sure they are really hungry! ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰12/10 Waterday** Introducing higher doses of bloom nutes. The Run off PH and EC are all within the limits ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰13/10 They lit up after some nutes. They look happy! Let the stretch begin ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰14/10 Already see fast growth. Just monitering factors, to make sure the climate is optimal and their are no symptoms. ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰15/10 Waterday* Thirsty ladies ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ‘‰16/10 Last day of week 1 of flower. Everything is going fine, Good airflow, None of the small symptoms has gotten worse, so overall happy ladies! How ever one has a little stunned growth or maybe just a bit behind of going into stretch

Needed a little cal mag. Moved the plants to a tent and I havenโ€™t seen signs of needing to feed but itโ€™s the 5th week so I added mutes at a weaker strength. Also started using molasses week 4 once or twice a week

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary. If you liked this diary, check out my other diaries and give me a follow! Until next time... Peace โ˜ฎ๏ธ, Love ๐Ÿ’š, And Frosty Nugs โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ! -Fo'Twenny
