Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. On 7th day of flowering we removed lower little branches and made some lollipopping on the plants. Also we made some defoliation on gelatos cause they were very bushy but almost removed only biggest fan leaf. As plants were bigger enough we started adding granural mineral NPK 12-18-23 1 g/L and CalMag Xtra by advanced nutrients 1mL/L to the solution.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. -first time doing auto and also this is my first crop -i introduce her to full sunlight from day 1 and when the sunlight is off i light up my 100w 6500k led for 7 more hours and let her rest.

Up on at day 45 of flowering now, and the plants are still doing great. They bounced back super quick from their defol on F35, and are now just slowly fattening up and starting to stink out the tent. Added in some more nematodes and predatory mites (mighty mites) as a purely preventative measure. Starting to ease up on some of the compost teas now as they mature, but they’re still getting some over the next few weeks.

She is growing well, after a slow start. Light is 17” and the par is 600ish. I am going to make canister with yeast. Having a problem with low humidity and high humidity at night in the 70% range. Still just watering with cal mag, VJ and B-52 about 50-100 ml every other day. End of week update: the environment is doing better. Moved the light a little closer about 700 par. Watering has been 2-3 days about 75ml. Exciting things to come…

Well, the old girl was showing signs of calcium defciency (some spotting/rust on some of the leaves) so she got her rez change a day early this week with some added Cal-Mag. She did some stretching this week and grew about 5". Cleared out some undergrowth and small branches under the canopy to keep things neat. She seems to be setting up to produce some nice buds. 🤞 -------------- Day 65: PPM 658; PH 6.2. She was thirsty but watered down her drink as her PPMs were increasing a bit. Fed her a gallon of filtered water with a tsp of Cal-Mag. PPMs now at 563 with PH 6.2. Day 66: PPM 553; PH 6.2. Left her alone. She seems in a bette place after having her drink watered down yesterday. Day 67: PPM574; PH 6.2. Topped her off with a gallon of filtered water and light nutes. She's sitting at PPM 574; PH 6.2. Day 68: PPM 584; PH 6.2. Left her alone. Day 69: PPM 563; PH 6.2. Topped her off with a gallon of filtered water/nutes. Sitting at PPM 595; PH 6.1 Day 70: PPM 595; PH 5.4. I've suspected for a while that my PH meter has not been giving accurate readings (even after calibration). Bought a new meter and was proven correct - PH has been running much lower than readings have been showing. Corrected her to 6.1 today - maybe now she'll start sucking up some of that calcium she's been missing out on.

Day 73 - 16/06/2025 Harvest day! 🧑🏽‍🌾 I've checked the thricomes from Strawberry Cola 2 and decided to harvest it. The thricomes started being ambar on top buds and as a heat wave is coming I decided to harvest early schedule and leverage 3 days before the heat wave. It's weighing 355g wet and it should go over my expectations dry. It would be around 120g. It's a nice strain completely frosty and with terpenes bit different than Strawberry Cola 1 . Mainly fruity terpenes. I did a wet trim and stored all big leafs with thricomes for washing them later. Cheers! 🍁🤞🏽🔥

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise 😈 More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time 😻👹😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3.
