09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

nothing to do but watch this girl grow. She is really just about to start a beast mode growth spirt right now. When I FIMed her, it allowed the rest of the plant to catch up to the cola, also created 4 branches from the FIM. Lets see how fast I can make her grow.

After flushing multiple times, and checking the ppm of the removed water, I realized how much nutrient build up I was subjecting the plant to. Big lesson learned that I need to add ph’d water without nutrients more often and check the ppm after I mix it back in. Leaves are starting to lighten up from dark green and I noticed very slight deficiency on one or two leaves. Now I’m at 25% nutrient strength and it is starting to grow noticeably faster.

To grow shes a pleasure , looked healthy all the way to crop ,, solid buds what absolute stink , its air dryin at roof hight and im still convinced everyone can smell it ,,,, honestly am drewlin knowin i got the summer time chedder

Hello my friends growers This week I've got more and more yellow leaves, Do you think it's a carence, water excess, precose senesence? I don't what I need to think, or if just normal, I just give her water two times per week. 0.6l x 2. Fertilizer 1/2 times. I think I'll harvest end of this month or start December. If no, bud are biggest each day, and smeel really sweet. I've also started pk 13 14 this week. Sorry not lot pic's this week , I've broke my phone and lost several pic's. Have a good week 😁😁

Starting to bud up ok. Tied the branches to open up the plant & removed quite a few leaves that were being eaten up . I really like the structure of the plant, not to bushy. Ran some Clearex to flush the salts from the Pro-Mix. The terpenes have a nice pepper/spices profile. Started Big bud this week.

Hey Friends, end of week 5 from seed - Installed New Grow Tent @CoolGrows 36x36x72 - After Adjusting the light, I decreased the wattage and plant #2 is looking much healthier and is growing in height :) - Still can't detect Plant #2 gender - Will flip to Flower next week, 12 hrs of light 12 hrs of darkness - I am glad I transplanted to a 5 gallon pot, each day the leaves are looking better. Hopefully its a female, see you guys next week!

Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here.
