Hey guys I am a day late on the update cuz I went away for the weekend to a buddy's bachelor party and ended up with a broken clavicle in two places and need surgery tomorrow. I dont know how I'm gunna keep things rollin here but I'll figure it out. Anyways I couldn't get the plants out of the tent tonight but when I have some help tmm I'll try and get some better individual pics. I fed them before I left Friday at 1110 ppm with the green buzz and got a little burn, which is a good thing because that kinda shows me that less is more with this line and may save you a few bucks over time. It's also nice that there isnt 11 different bottles to pour from so far I couldn't be more impressed with GBL. The planta were all pretty bone dry today but look better than ever. Pics were taken at day 29 this week, temps have been around 73°F and 58% RH. This tent is in a basement so even with the dehumidifier the rh is pretty high especially with the lights out but the plants seem to enjoy it and I have plenty of air circulating This one might be a keeper if it fills out strong, shes a bit more structurally sound than the first pheno fatter leaves, thicker stalks but same stretch. Edit: I fucked somethin up here in the video I put day 29 bloom, these were flipped on june 9th and got 36 hr dark period, I uploaded the video last monday so it was actually on day 22 flower not day 29 but it's a little late to edit the video so ignore that day and I'll make a new one tonight which is actually day 28

D93ish - 11.6 - I found her in a dumpster with a split stem and no grow equipment and our journey began. From the clandestine tent and trying different lights to spider mites and super cropping. Me and this baby been there. She was a great teacher and I loved her dearly. I'm incredibly grateful for her resilience and patience with me as learned my way around this new skill. I killed her last night, cut her into pieces and put her in a box to dry. I havent smoked any of the newly harvested Dumpster Queen and won't test it until it goes into cure jars, but the sample I took off over a week ago was divine and opened my eyes to everything I've been missing in organic grown nugs. Thank you all for you support. I'm so stoked moving forward with this newfound hobby and passion. Will update in a week or so on the dry weight, cuz I'm really interested too. Expecting about a QP, just enough to give as gifts to some awesome friends and keep me going until my next harvest! 11.9 - stems were snapping i trimmed her up further into jars and weight came out to 80g. The nugs are not very dense or large, but are very very sticky and full trichomes. Smells of sweet dank floral and pine and the dank and floral notes really come out in a joint. Been smoking hard on it and is still thoroughly enjoying it. Notable changes in flavor is the shift of that floral scent to more berry. It smells soo good I bury my face in the jar haha. The effect is still very uplifting and creative, which is great since I'm writing my phd dissertation. Anyhow, be well. Tons of love!

Semana 0 Del 3 al 9 de agosto Estamos en la semana 0 que va a ser la primera desde el cambio a 12h. Las temperaturas están siendo geniales y los LED ayudan bastante. Estamos en 26°C en ON y unos 24°C en OFF. Vimos que el último riego pudo ser demasiado potente y aprovechamos para hacer varias cosas. • La planta tiene 0 marcas de bichos, ni picaduras ni nada.. parece que los preventivos han funcionado bien, pero no bajamos la guardia. Espolvoreamos la capa de arriba del sustrato con tierra de diatomeas y humedecemos. Como el sustrato ya había bajado bastante, echamos una capa de sustrato ( monkey soil coco) y repetimos volvemos a espolvorear. • Realizamos riego con unos 2l casi. Usamos 0.16 Mammoth P + 1 calmax PH 6,2 EC: 0,4/0,6ms Th20: 23,5°C • Hoy soltamos todo el sistema LST. La idea es la siguiente: dejarle un día suelta descansando para que se estire un poco y luego colocarlas en su posición final. Parece que tiene forma de pino y cada rama esta cogiendo esa forma, por eso quiero estirar la un poco, para que tengan sitio. 5 de agosto Volvems a hacer el LST Pero esta vez con grapas de hierro, aprovechamos para dejar en posición. Mientras la entrenabamos quebrados el tallo central.. 6 de agosto Vemos que se posiciona mejor y aprovechamos para quitar algunas hojas y algún brote pequeño. Hoy a vuelto el calor pero aguantamos en unos 28,5°C de max. La humedad si he es alta, entorno al 70% 8 de agosto Hoy movemos un poco los brotes para que quede menos sombras. Aprovechamos para hacer un riego con 1,5l usando 5ml•l de Delta 9 PH 6,01 EC: 1,2ms Th20: 26,6°C El calor continúa y más o menos aguantamos las condiciones. 28°C y un 66% de humedad. Este riego de Delta 9 le sentará genial, se puede apreciar como siguen estirando los brotes de cada rama para coger su sitio de cara a florecer. Además la planta en general a engordado bastante en cuanto a tallo y ramas más fuertes. 9 de agosto Terminamos esta semana de perforación. Seguimos con el calor y la humedad, en ese sentido a sido un mal día. De temperatura rondamos los 28°C con una max de 30 y mínimas de 24,5°C (en OFF)*. La humedad a andado de 60/70%, esperamos que las condiciones mejoren cuando la flora sea mas avanzada. Hoy realizamos ultimo preventivo, unas 6h com el quemador de azufre para después de ventilar un rato hacer un foliar con 15ml spruzit + 2 aceite de neem + 2 un producto de prueba. Las sensaciones son tremendas y la verdad que nos lo estamos tomando con mucha ilusión porque esta quedando preciosa y respondiendo como un Jabato. El juego a empezado amigos, a partir de ahora empieza lo buenoo.

It’s the first week of flower!! I’ve been having troubles with knowing where to foliate and direct the growth with these plants. As 2 seem to be growing faster than the other 2! Over all looking good I think.

Week 3

Всем привет! На прошлой неделе у меня начались проблемы с листьями. Было очень похоже на нехватку магния или кальция. Но внимательно проанализировав места локализации проблемы, я пришел к выводу, что это световой ожог. Во-первых, лампа была запущена на максимальную производительность. Во-вторых, страдали только верхние листья. В-третьих, проблемы были только у тех листьев, у которых не было трихом. В-четвертых, обычно страдают обе пары листьев, а в нашем случае только те, что были ближе к лампе. Пришлось убавить мощность, чтобы и листья не страдали и чтобы трихомы не испарялись зря. Как итог - прогрессирование некроза прекратилось. Но пришлось все испорченные листья удалить, чтобы проконтролировать текущее состояние и заметить проблемы в будущем. К тому же, дал больше света нижним шишкам, а само растение практически осталось таким же пушистым. Еще начали отпадать самые нижние листья, которые практически не получали света. Так как азота было предостаточно на веге, они не желтели, а больше стали серыми и сами отвалились. Полиплоидный бутон начал расти в бок. А новых ростков из устья листьев больше не появлялось. НО!!! Я сперва не замечал, а когда обрывал листья, заметил, что там где у шишек растут листья, у всех крупных из них растут такие не маленькие шишечки, из-за чего в целом шишка становится жирной и толстой. Полистал другие репорты и обнаружил, что это привычное дело для этого сорта. Интересно, что запах снизился. На веге оба фильтра работали на полную мощность, а обычной травой все равно пахло. Сейчас имеем около 20 колл, а запаха нет совсем. Либо угольные фильтры хорошо прям терпены фильтруют, но не фильтруют запах свежескошенной травы, либо действительно, из-за светового ожога испарялись трихомы и поэтому запаха убавился. По моим рассчетам нам осталось еще 4 недели, то есть ровно половина цветового периода прошли. Спасибо что заглянули.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Shes growing well so there isnt much to say really , I've adjusted the lights to be 12-12 from seed so we can see the results we get , I've also adjusted the height of the lamp to its proper height I was scared to burn my little baby but shes taking it well and growing nicely ! Well I had a bit of a setback the past week. The leaves started showing some black sort of toxicity (couple leaves have a spot or two in this weeks pics) and I noticed my leaves were somewhat darker to other plants at a similar age. I decided to flush it yesterday before lights on with PH'd water and fed it a lighter dose of nutes and also raised the lights 2". She immediately perked back up and a day later she seems to be doing a lot better. Leaves looking better and she's still growing! I _lightly_ defoliated (4-5 leaves) to get more airflow.
