Hey hey growmies! I've fallen ill with a respiratory bug, as a result my plants and the diaries have suffered somewhat. at the end of week 4 I left this diary with a super droopy plant, now, this little runtz lady has not only bounced back, but is thriving. I am leaving on a trip to New York in 2 and a half weeks, which leaves this lady in an awkward spot, I cannot flip her to flower and she's growing fiercely, I can obviously also not bring her from Belgium to the United States of America (Even though New York is a legal state :P) because Ganja is the devil in the eyes of our governments, as we all know. So she will continue to veg untill I get back the 25th of november, a whole ass month from now. This Runtz will be anything but a runt, but she has shown me some very strong genetic traits already, she takes a fucking beating this strain. So if her smoke is decent, and her flowers pretty, I'm keeping her around. Its always nice if a plant is tough enough to roll with the punches, and look at her, she's rolling. So thats the plan! Veg her out into a monster, take lots of cuttings and clean up her canopy. Hope we have mommy material, if not, I'm still going to try and grow a cutting from her, its a skill I need to build for when I do find a mom. June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. Super super frosty and sticky nugs, very dense and compact, big calyx, stinks, beautiful strain to grow the 2 plants of wedding cake Auto I have got the same aroma, this girl is being fed using nothing but a good soil prepared organically with complete organics by guanokalong and also seaweed powder, and also I added florians livings organics which is such an awesome organic super food for the plants that makes the strains performer better when when it comes the time to smoke you don't feel all that chemical stuff. She has been stretching for 3 days and white pistols are every where :) if there’s sun out she goes out the garden and absolutely loves it, no light like sunlight :)

Any advice for the beginning of flowering? How do you see them?

The Strain is a great smoke just price seed but you pay for the quality right, eventhught it could be better as I F*@&^ things up with the soil

Hello everyone! This might be the last week. Trichomes looking almost perfect. Now I stop feeding them with nutriens and just flush with water the last week. Ig thats it for the week :D! See you next week for the harvest :O

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination The two girl are sure opposites of each other in how this grow is turning out😂😂👍 GSC2 didn’t get a good transplant and she has really suffered for it........add in that both of them were battling high pH in first weeks and thus the reason for the transplant from the fabric pots into plastic.......she is actually hanging in there and this week progressed well. GSC on the other hand I just have to put into her own tent!!!! She is too freaking big!!!!! I can’t fit her in with the other flowering girls and have any success at the grow👍💪👊😉 The environment is not where it needs to be though for flower so added another humidity controller and smaller full spectrum light to bump up to 300 watt range in the veg/flower tent now. Had limited choice with a limited budget and needed it now. I could go through more fooling around for only roughly 3 more weeks before others are done and could combine the plants.......good excuse though to have increased flexibility going forward😉😉😉👍 Feed amount have been as expected with GSC taking 4L most days while GSC2 is more of 2.5L range when feeding. Have noticed they are taking more water in the taller 3 gallon plastic pots. That is a lot of bottles listed but they are never fed that all at once. That is just a full list of products used this week and the dosage in that feed. I have been holding the feed numbers around 1000 ppm the last week and I think she can take more so have bumped that up to 1300 range for the next week. Expect to see some tip burn as pushing them but very little so far. GSC is now 36” and 36” wide but her bud sites are not very big in my opinion. I have replaced G.P. Massive with A.N.Big Bud for now as I don’t need her getting any taller......just grow BIG BUD😃😃 GSC2 is being fed the same schedule as GSC and the same feed so all numbers are the same. GSC2 is only 17” tall though and 24” wide. GSC Environment has been hovering at 80 degrees and 50 percent humidity most of the days. (Another Humidity controller and light arrive this week.) GSC2 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Fast Buds strain is solid👊💪👍😍 as is evident in GSC......all issues are grower related to pH problems in first three weeks of their life. Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 - 8L mixture with BigBud @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC took 5L and GSC took 3L. - turning lights down yesterday helped. Both girls leaves are standing up more now, June 7, Day 58 - debated on feed but mixed 8L with BigBud @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1015ppm and 5.6pH - GSC took 6L and GSC2 2L.......good run off from GSC but none from GSC2 - GSC tent needs more humidity in it......working on it - GSC2 is not looking all that great with her long fan leaves. June 8, Day 59 - dry out day - GSC is doing very well and looking big. - GSC2 is doing better since in the flower tent and under the T5 light. June 9, Day 60 - mixed 8L water with Massive and Terpinator @ 3ml, Sensizyme, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.6pH - GSC given 5L and GSC2 was 3L. - Full strength feed as things are going okay overall. - GSC2 is getting taller and lower branches standing up more now. - GSC is happy by herself😀 June 10, Day 61 - 6L mixture with BigBud, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml = 475ppm - 4L for GSC and 2L for GSC2 - fair bit of runoff - GSC2 still has lots of leaves but they are not touching the pot anymore, she is getting taller. - GSC is really happy with her leaves way up. Buds are getting bigger as well......slowly😳 June 11, Day 62 - Dry out day today. - left them alone. - GSC will remain by herself. Need to get the humidity up over the 53% though. Temp is fine at 79 degrees. June 12, Day 63 - 8L mixture with Terpinator @ 3ml, BigBud, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1350ppm and pH to 5.6 - GSC took 5L and GSC2 was 3L.......good runoff amounts from both. - GSC2 taken off the milk crate today. Stripped more leaves as well. Looking better at the end of the week👍

Empiezo la semana 2 muy emocionado, pues las pequeñas ya estan todas fuera y preciosas, hoy despues de 7 dias desde que germinamos vamos a trasplantar las pequeñas a unas macetitas del mismo material que las que teniamos antes pero esta vez son de 1L, muy importante, cunado trasplanto siempre entierro el tallo hasta los cotiledones, de esta ,manera la damos mas fuerza a la planta. La sorpresa viene cuandro al transplantar me quedo enamorado del sistema radicular de las Blue Elite Indica, pues parece que tengan pelo!😂 Estoy muy contento ya que estan todas muy sanas y con mucha fuerza para seguir adelante.

Had to do a root wash, had root rot due to the roots not following the stream and growing in a circle, the angle was not high enough and the water inlet probably to close to the Netcup. Also ORP was really low the last couple weeks, probably didn't help either. My grows are always experiments and I am trying to improve my setups again and again to maximize more and more but out of 10 new things only 1 or 2 work. It's the last few days for Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle. I think I'll be able to harvest her early next week. The smell is lemony, and the buds slowly take on the shape of a lemon 🍋🍋🍋

Que pasa familia, finalizamos segunda semana de floración, no veas que color y que vigor, están muy sanas, se agradece la luz del LED. Controlamos ph 6,5 temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos. Añadimos bud candy para ir aportando a las flores los nutrientes necesarios para una mejor formación y sabor. Por lo demás nada nuevo, todo va bien, entre riego y riego son 72h lo que pasan , en vez de 48h como pasa con el sodio. También se agradece en ese aspecto. Un saludo fumetillas y muy buenos humos 💨

Week 4: Girls have responded well to nutes. Defoliation started this week. White spots started showing, After research we believe this to be because of our hard water and getting water on the leaves. We also started LST using fishing line, however this did not work so we removed it.
