Significa que hicimos bien el lavado de raíces. Los tricomas siguen poniéndose blancos, estarán el 50% blancos 50% transparentes. Tic tac.

420 Fastbuds Week 5 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto Weekly update on these 2 have been wonderful. They both are maturing amazing not showing any real signs of issues. The transition from veg to flower went about as smooth as one could hope for. I did decide to do another defoliation taking off the bigger fan leafs. Also I lollipoped them a bit taking off the first 2-3 nodes allowing more airflow to the topsoil while letting the plant focus more energy on the upper flower sites. Keeping up the same routine as far as light cycle, watering, and preventative maintenance. Happy Growing

Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

Esa familia, nuestras crazy cookies están algo sobre fertilizadas y por ello le practicamos un lavado de raíces para eliminar los nutrientes sobrantes. Ph controlado unos días sin regar la próxima semana y veremos que tal avanzan , floración lenta imagino que por culpa de la sobrefertilización aunque tiene solución fumetillas.

This week the leaves were removed again so that the flowers all get the same amount of light. I had to tie down one of the two plants, otherwise it would grow too close to the light. The growth phase is now definitely underway and the plants are concentrating on forming the flowers. The flowers have already become much thicker and the first leaves are sugared :) No fertilizer was added this week, just 2ml/l Neem Oil.

What a nice harvest. Fingers were like id been playing with super glue. And stunk of lemon orange + fuel. Sex on stems. Really nice harvest. I stripped thus one down a lot more than what I normally do ad it had a lot of weird shapes. And the HST points would of made for an uneven dry in parts. Took over 14 days to dry at 19.5c 50-55rh. 2 months curing. Yet, not much was left to show. I don't think it was THE BEST pheno. So I will do a hunt on this and grow 3 while prepping clones and will find that perfect one and grow the oranges off it. Fuck lemon is GOOOODDDDDDD LEMON & ORANGES SOOOOO FUUUCCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG

just about finished up this week. Choc mint 1 is about ready for chop. Chopped couple of main colas as i seen couple of signs of budrot. Dropped lights down to 400w each as temps are starting to rise above 30c. Choc mint 2 is looking unreal. Heaps of huge colas,think i will pull the most of this one. Will probably give till day 65.

Week 9 All plants are growing vigorously in a healthy way. Side branches are stretching, structure is enlarging since topping. Approximately same size; the bigger are Flash Back #2 & Brake Pad Breath. Daylight 15h40 - 6h20/22h Found some aphids on the Royal Moby: I sprayed Black Soap on every plants and cleaned the infested plant leaf by leaf. I placed sticky traps in each pot: yellow, blue and black for the different type of insects Major parts of the time plants are in the veranda; clean, sunny and ventilated room. It’s easier to control pests and diseases, but the risk is the contamination between plants in this type of closed space. I sprayed Neem oil too. 2 watering: -roots stimulator + enzyme -grow nutrients + Bio Heaven Added more soil in pot (1.5L/plants) : Worm Humus + bat guano + diatomaceous earth (natural mineral insecticide) + vermiculite Sprayed Fish Mix.

The outdoor ladies are enjoying the nice weather and doing very well. Divine Rapier is also beginning to bloom. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain a lot next week. We're hoping for the best!

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. Big Fat Wedding Cake is bulking strong right now. She has a nice frosty layer on her, and is maturing in smell as she goes. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. The solution got really low and strong causing her to have a bit of burn. She is heading to a finish in about 3 weeks.
