We chopped down the plants. Now they hang out to dry in the tent. The Trichs looked very good. Some milky, some amber, hardly any clear. Just the way I want it. The popcorn buds were rather milky. So we have more of a couchlock effect on the head buds and the maximum THC on the popcorns. I'm really looking forward to the taste💚

Week 6 starts tomorrow technically this went up at day 41. But I've started every week a day early so far so keeping with tradition we can do this again 😜 Slight purpling of the leaves I'm confident this is due to the cold night temps, I'm getting a heater today to warm her up a bit to try and kick start the growth again, buds are really thickening up, won't be long until they look like buds and not little balls of white hairs! The main Cola looks like she's going to be a big one! Exciting times! Day 42: Week 6 is here! Finally the buildings heating got turned up to a more acceptable level! Night time temps are up (18c), day time temps are up (26c) and I might be imagining it but the plant really responded to not being on the border of whats acceptable! Buds are very visibly forming day by day at the moment, really looking forward to what next week brings! I'm seeing more and more bud sites appearing all over the place, the Main Cola is becoming a decent size, all the secondary colas are growing in but I think she's gonna be heavy on popcorn buds too 😁 I'm wishing I was more experienced because I'd probably be a lot more excited about what she's doing, I assume she's going well but I have no idea how much buds will swell over the next few weeks, I'm just assuming they're going to fill out where the pistils are growing out to if that's the case oooowwweeee I've broken even at least! Loads of pictures gone up today, tried to get a picture of every cola/top that's forming and a decent number of the lower bud sites, that main cola though 😍 One of my main sun leaves has been shaded for about a week and the plant has only just decided to start cannibalising it, going pretty completely yellow and the edges are starting to go brown. I'm now 100% convinced this is because it's not getting light and isn't adding any benefit to the plant. I'll be taking that off in a few days I'm sure. I also have one sun leaf that got burned fairly early on in the grow and is now starting to get pretty seriously burned with each feeding, debating just taking it off too. It's the only leaf looking sick Day 43: Now I've raised the temps it seems a lot more of the nutes in the soil have suddenly become available and there's a bit of Nute burn showing on the plant in various locations, the first few fan leaves that were already burnt are now starting to die off anyway. I think we're getting to that stage where the plant starts cannibalising it'self by nature because those partially burned leaves are starting to look very sick whilst the rest of the plant looks healthy and green. New growth is still a bit purple I'm not sure what to do tomorrow, to feed or not to feed that is the question! Every day the buds are visibly swelling and growing taller, I'm getting more and more excited by the day! I'm uncertain about defoliating this girl, certainly the lower leaves that are dying off need to come off soon, one is completely yellow so I could do that almost any day now, but the burned leaves look like the plant is still taking nutrients out of them so I don't want to take away that valuable source! Top canopy is very bushy so I'm not sure she'd even notice, opening a grow question about this! Day 43: Updated - Tonight I trimmed the dead leaves ONLY (2 total, got nervous after this) there was the yellow leaf that had completely died and would have started to rot soon and one of the very burned leaves had also gone a very sick shade of yellow/green I went around the plant an tucked all the fan leaves covering the bud sites to try and get more light, except by the end of the day the plant had moved those leaves back into place, guess I need to let nature take her course! Tomorrow is a feeding day, she's started showing some early signs of def. in the topmost leaves, looking forward to feeding her and giving her a big boost of growth again 😁 I think we've about 4/5 weeks to go on this girl being ready! Day 44 - Feeding day, 1ml of Bio Bloom in 1 litre of water (750 ml with the mix in then followed behind with another 250 ml clean distilled water to help dilute it down further) this was the first time in a long time I actually got run off! Happy to report the PH at Run off was 6.5 which is pretty darn good! and the PH of the water provided was also 6.5 after nutes and PH balancing. Buds have thickened up again overnight! Day 45 - No pics this morning as I'm in a bit of a rush, will upload tonight, Humidity very high (65%) this morning but she did get a litre of water yesterday, seems to be drinking so much more water than ever before probably ready for a water tomorrow morning already! I think now is the time to stop droughting, the roots should be fairly well established and I want bud production to be the biggest focused, buds have swollen overnight again, the leaf mass is starting to spread out more and airflow is better, mould is a concern but looking to reduce humidity with a humidity pack very soon Day 46- Pistils are now starting to go brown, watering around 1 Litre every 48 hours today was a plain water day and the leaves are starting to turn yellow at the bottom, I understand this is normal for flowing but wonder if it's too early, started grow question regarding this Day 47 - The bud growth is incredibly noticeable! The top cola is starting to take a very nice shape, I've moved the lights around to get the lights closer to the other colas without burning the top one, a feat of engineering in itself! Each day the flowers get bigger and thicker!

The Cheese trees are doing great. Buds getting nice, tight, and large. GanjaFarmerSeeds has some real great genetics going on there. The scent from the cheese is very strong, overpowering my extraction fan as the lights go out. Fills my entire house with her smell. Very pleasing to me, but not so much for the wife. Week 14 from seed, and these Lemon Cherry Gelato girls really turned into something special. Not monsters in height, but absolutely massive in presence, density, structure, and expression. The kind of plants that surprise you when you finally grab the branches in your hands and realize how much weight and resin they actually built under a 12/12-from-seed run. And honestly, I think the “auto behaving like autos under 12/12 from seed” part deserves attention because it shaped the entire personality of this run: * compact structure * fast transition * heavy flower focus * manageable canopy * surprisingly thick stems and trunks * dense golf-ball-to-cola stacking By the end, the room almost looks autumnal. Deep yellows, oranges, fading greens, and swollen frosty flowers everywhere. That late-flower fade came in fast, but beautifully — and this is important to explain clearly because newer growers often panic when they see this. This wasn’t a deficiency disaster. This was the plant reaching the end of its natural cycle. As flowering progresses, especially late flower, the plant starts mobilizing stored nutrients from the leaves into the flowers. Nitrogen gets depleted first, chlorophyll breaks down, greens disappear, and the underlying pigments begin showing: * yellows * golds * oranges * reds/purples depending on genetics And because feeding had already been reduced heavily while the plants kept drinking aggressively, the fade accelerated naturally. The girls were essentially finishing themselves. You can actually SEE the energy redistribution in the photos: * leaves fading while buds stay swollen * pistils maturing * resin production peaking * calyxes stacking harder * stems thickening under weight And speaking of weight… those broken branches tell the story by themselves. No need to exaggerate anything there. When branches literally split under flower mass, especially in a relatively compact plant, you know the density became real. That stem split photo is beautiful because it captures the moment where biology and gravity start negotiating with each other. The trunk shots are wild too. Putting the Clipper lighter next to the base was honestly a perfect scale reference. You can immediately understand: “Okay… these girls drank for a reason.” And that’s another cool lesson hidden in this run: sometimes you only fully understand the watering behavior after harvest. Once the skeleton is exposed, the entire hydraulic system suddenly makes sense. Now onto harvest and drying. You made the right call not drying the entire plant whole in this case. These girls were dense. Breaking them into branches gives: * safer airflow * more even drying * lower mold risk * easier environmental control Especially with chunky late-flower flowers like these. The drying target sounds excellent too: * roughly 18–20°C * around 60% RH after the initial moisture release * gentle airflow, never directly blasting flowers And lowering humidity slightly during the first 24–48h to help the surface moisture escape before stabilizing is a very sensible move with dense material like this. Now the charas section is honestly one of the most beautiful parts of the update because it connects modern indoor cultivation to something ancient and human. Just handling fresh branches gave enough live resin to coat the fingers — technically charas, because it comes from fresh living plant material. That’s different from classic “finger hash” made during dry trimming. The distinction is subtle but important: * Charas = resin collected from fresh/live cannabis * Finger hash = resin collected while handling dried/cured material And charas has deep cultural and spiritual roots, especially in India and Nepal. For centuries, people in regions like the Parvati Valley and Himalayan foothills have hand-rubbed living cannabis plants to collect resin. Traditional makers — including sadhus and local hash makers — slowly work the flowers between the palms until thick dark resin accumulates on the skin, later rolled into temple balls or cream charas. Malana Cream became one of the most famous examples of this style: * handmade * live plant resin * mountain-grown cannabis * deeply tied to local culture and geography And yes, Lord Shiva is strongly connected to cannabis traditions in Hindu culture. Chillums, charas, bhang preparations, and ritual use all became intertwined historically with spirituality, celebration, meditation, and ascetic traditions. The bhang lassi mention is also a nice touch because many people outside India don’t realize cannabis has existed there culturally for centuries in forms beyond smoking alone. It adds depth to the update without glorifying anything artificially — more like acknowledging the historical relationship humans have had with this plant. Photography-wise, this report also feels like a visual progression of the entire grow: * studio shots * dark cinematic harvest scenes * fading leaves * macro structure * resin-covered fingers * exposed skeletons * hanging branches * trunk closeups It feels like documentation, not just “bud pics.” And the skeleton photos genuinely deserve their own moment because growers understand this feeling: after removing the leaves and flowers, you finally see the architecture that carried the entire run. 💚 Amnesia Haze Auto by Zamnesia – Pheno B Week 6 | Quiet Confidence Begins to Bloom Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Growing multiple phenotypes side by side is one of my favourite parts of this project because every week nature reminds us that there is no such thing as a "correct" way for a plant to grow. Pheno B has chosen a completely different rhythm from her sister. While Pheno A stretches toward the ceiling with long internodes and a very expressive narrow-leaf structure, this lady prefers patience. She's shorter, more compact, and slightly behind in her overall flowering development, yet she's thriving under exactly the same conditions. Same room. Same lighting. Same nutrients. Same watering. Same training. The only thing that's different is the genetics expressing themselves in their own unique way. And that's exactly why phenotype hunting is so fascinating. 🌱 The 12/12 From Seed Journey For anyone joining this diary for the first time, welcome! Every plant in this project has been grown under a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light schedule from the day the seeds germinated. Rather than extending the vegetative stage, this method allows every phenotype to reveal its natural growth habits much earlier, making it easier to compare structure, stretch, flowering speed, and overall efficiency. Watching sisters grow into completely different plants while sharing the exact same environment is one of the biggest rewards of this experiment. Pheno B is proving that slower doesn't mean weaker—it simply means different. 🌿 A Compact Personality Standing at around 69 cm, she's noticeably shorter than her sister, but she's beginning to develop a personality all her own. Her internodes remain tighter. Her branching is beautifully balanced. The canopy is naturally organised, giving every future flower plenty of access to light without requiring much intervention. The overall impression is of a plant that's taking her time, investing in structure before committing fully to flower production. The first pistils are now multiplying across every growing tip, and although she's still stretching slightly, it's clear that flowering has become her main priority. Sometimes genetics prefer to build slowly before rewarding us later. This may very well be one of those plants. 🌸 Flower Production Is Taking Over This week marks an important shift. The explosive vegetative growth is beginning to slow, while clusters of fresh white pistils continue appearing across every branch. Instead of producing dramatic vertical growth, she's now directing more of her energy toward building the framework that will eventually support her flowers. Watching this transition happen is always exciting because it's the point where each phenotype begins revealing how it intends to build its harvest. Every week, her own personality becomes a little clearer. 🍃 Gentle Training, Natural Development Training continues to be intentionally minimal. Low Stress Training performed earlier in the grow has already created a balanced structure, so this week only occasional leaf tucking was needed to keep developing flower sites exposed. Rather than removing healthy leaves, I prefer allowing them to continue acting as efficient solar panels while simply repositioning them whenever necessary. Healthy leaves mean more energy. More energy means stronger flowers. Sometimes the best decision is knowing when to leave the plant alone. 💧 Feeding the Transition Into Bloom As with the rest of the room, Pheno B is now receiving a flowering-focused feeding program while still supporting the final stages of stretch. Just started the 2 week flush before harvest. Flowers are getting fat, hairs have changed color . Now I just have to watch the trichomes .

The past 5 days she showed heavy deficiencies, Fan leafs started browning hectically. Ontop of that her growth isn't where I would like her to be especially in this stage. So researched , went through alot of podcasts lol.. Decided to purchase bottled nutrients for this run to see how she reacts aswell to tell the difference between organic and bottled nutes...for My own comparison. 5 days later after her first bottled feed...I must say damnnn!! She exploded and even started looking more healthier than when she first started.

Welcome to week 10 and week 4 of the flowering period of my Zamnesia Runtz grow😁 Last changes seems to have a possitiff effect an the plants. 2 liters a plant a feeding seems to be a little to much considdering that my RH is getting a little to high over 50% now it raises to 60 when the light are off and going to 45 with lights on. Considdering to defoliate i but more but not sure. Day 27😁😁 Every thing is going better by the day. RH is now between 42 en 47. She likes the nutes but i gave her a little to much so i lowered it a bit. Now it's time for bud fattening😍 she already started a bit and i am seeing differce day by day. Hi all. Welcome to this run withbthe Viparspectra XS1500 which i was kindly sent to try by their helpful rep Valerie. As I have a fairly good space to use for my main grow , it seemed an ideal time to explore a few options while I wait for space to appear following upcoming harvests. The opportunity hit at a good time and has now driven the future play time. lol The light is a full spectrum 150W( at the socket) , Dimmable and very well made unit. As summer is here now , my concerns of more heat being an issue have stopped me from adding my other light so the smaller 2ftx2ft area covered by the XS1500 is a good option , The heatsink is built into the case design with a finned top to dissipate the heat so no noisy fans. Switching it on to full power was a nice surprise as the footprint was way wider than I had expected and the actual coverage is even better for my Nursery to harvest plan.... I am growing autos perpetually at present and have been able to throughput the plants with just 2 lights and using the overlaps at the edges to bring seedlings along to veg/flowering, as harvesting is finishing. The timing had been working well but the plants were getting smaller towards the last runs . I gave it some thought and Rh % came to mind. With the perpetual runs not having a higher rh in their veg periods due to other plants needing a lower Rh% in flower , the vapour pressure deficit (vpd) was not within veg periods healthier range. This current run has exploded and filled my normal space very quickly which in turn means I cannot use the same principle as the last perpetual run of bringing the next ones along ready for the exchanges. The XS1500 takes care of this issue with it being perfect for an initial nursery light that is easily covering all the new seedlings but is also able to cover my experimental "5 plant 1 Pot" attempt. I have placed 5 of my own autob seeds from a previous seeding in a single 60 L pot and intend to strip them to their 4th nodes and only allow 2 mains per plant to develop and flower. Inam hoping to have 10 mains growing in it that will be under the xs1500 solely as the other plants outgrow the lights footprint and space they are in. They will go into the main grow space once able so i can really see how well this new light can flower with the 10 mains to fill the space. Until that point , I will diary as we go and see what we can achieve.

05/19/2020 All going well, have to grow in containers this season, I might be moving before harvest so only veggies in the ground. But all are adjusting well 😊 I will give more details on individual plants shortly #1 is10" tall new growth looks good getting thick. #2 is 11.5" tall #4 is 7" tall but healthy #5 is 16"

Looking like i have a magnesium deficiency as show in the leaf pic. I'm Gonna increase the cal-mag. Day 37 : Pots were dry so fed 2.5 liners to the 5 gallon pot and 1.5 liters to the 3 gallon. Upped the cal-mag. Introduced Big Bud & PK Boost

Start Woche 7 Blüte. Heute gab's für beide nochmals 2l Wasser mit 20ml/l GreenBull. (die 20g BioBloom warn wohl etwas zu viel. An beiden etwas verbrannte Spitzen🙄 🙄) Sonst heißt es warten. Buds schwellen langsam an und die beiden fangen an leicht zu faden. Bis auf den einen Trieb letzte Woche an #1 auch keine weiteren pollensäcke zu finden🤞 🤞 🤞 Tag 45 Blüte Die Buds entwickeln sich richtig gut. Riechen beide wieder wirklich schön nach Kirsche/Roten Früchten und der Trichombesatz schaut auch wieder richt gut aus😋 🥀
