Day 57. And Mimosas are real sl@ts ..... No doubts, they all time were most picky and stupid, but big, very big ... Only two from 3. Last one is the smallest plant from all first wave. Very strange . Smoothie's are nice, grow without big hiccups, maybe a bit of a runners, but all 3 looks very similar. Purple Punch - both small, the one in best light is giving me hope that I will chop her before holidays and will make some space for the guy who will be watering them during my offs. They are overfed a bit. So no feed all week. Just water. Two biggest Mimosa's will be transplanted into bigger pots, they drink a lot, dry too quick and are sad in my mind, so I will cheer them up with bigger pots this week. Still selective defoliation, some yo-yo, so ties and no spray anymore. Smell is getting stronger, but didn't bother to try one or other. Still nothing special or super smelly yet ... In the middle of the day Mimosa's finally happy, but before lights down - theirs leaves are down too. Overdrying them constantly too, can't wait to give them better house, that type of fight I hate. Day 60. All work done ! Huge work ! All girls were cleaned, defoliated and pots toped up with BioBizz Worm Castings. Both Mimosas got new bigger pots too. Happy Growing !!!

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Flower day 10 - Everything is going great so far, currently trying to find a bigger dehumidifier cause RH is staying a little higher than I would like! So last Friday I began germinating seed, tap water in a shot glass I dropped her in and let her stay in darkness for 12 hours.. threw her in a cotton round and placed in ziplock bag. A day later she was already growing a tail and it was time to throw her in a home. Planted the seed on Tuesday and here we are already alive and healthy. I just got my Mars Hydro tent (2.3x2.3x56) put it together last night and now the little babe is thriving with her sister Orange Sherbert . We’ve survived our first week !!!

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Hello, fin de semaine 5, semaine 1 de floraison. Les plantes se portent très bien. Elles ont bien récupérées de la défoliation de la semaine précédente. Je viens de les passer en 12/12. Le stretch se fait bien. Je me rend juste compte que j’ai mit trop de plantes je pense. Elles commencent à être un peu à l’étroit. Mais rien de méchant. Voilà c’est tout pour cette semaine. Welp gotta leave the country for awhile and got no one to trust so this plant is going to get harvested very early but I’ll do another run some other time

This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪
