Flowering Week 23: The Great Defoliation & Purple Hints Update: 17.08.2025 | Day 163 Hey Growmies, Week 23 was all about the snip-snip – gave both ladies a serious haircut and opened up them tight spaces. Airflow’s king now, and these girls are breathing easy. Here’s the wrap: Durban Poison – Cleaned & Gleaming After that defoliation, she’s standing tall like a proper little tree – clean stems, no clutter, just good light and air all through her core. The buds are frosting up with pistils that’s turning a soft, shy purple. Real pretty. Smell’s picking up too – still subtle, kinda old-school. Not like these new genetic gas-monsters. If I had to call it something? Flowery. Earthy-flowery. Simple. Honest. Blueberry – Tall, Late & Mysterious This girl’s still reaching – almost 2.20m now, though only three mains broke the 2m mark. Rest is hanging around 1.80m. Buds are forming slooow, pistils are shy. She’s blooming on her own damn schedule – way behind Durban. Started sexing at the same time, but now it’s like Durban’s sprinting and Blueberry’s strolling. Starting to sweat a little… if she’s too late, mold might sneak in when the autumn damp hits. Flowering is developing well. Genetics Very very greedy in fertilizer... After a written exchange with the breeder, he recommended a mineral fertilizer, and not an organic organic one. The flowering is developing very, very well, but small spots have appeared on the foliage for no apparent reason. If anyone can give me the beginnings of a solution, I'm interested.

Topped this week the two girls, having a lot of development in a busy like shape. Dropping my tea undiluted once every three waterings EC at 0.4 this time, and I’m alternating a bit the tea composition, this time brew with honey and worm castings + Recharge and Azos 24h.

This attack of the clones is coming along nicely. Cant wait to see this all SCROg'd out! I am going to do a few things differently this time around. I am going to deliver more foliar sprays to this group and see if it helps in growth. I also FIM'd the shit out of each top on each plant. Lets see what that does.

Last week for these ladies. Kept the soil moisture levels very low leading up and did a final heavy de leaf of pretty much anything that doesn’t have trichomes growing on it and will be shutting the lights and turning the heat off for the last 48 hours. Keeping a lot of the sweet leaf on to keep the moisture throughout drying and will do a dry trim. Will be aiming to have a long slow drying period (12-15 days hanging) before I jar them up for curing. Won’t be adding many quality pictures this week since half the time they’re in the dark but will post harvest pictures as they come down :)

The monster goes haywire and what drives us crazy because it is beautiful. The flush is a fundamental mmento always look at the color of the water that comes out if it is black the child must flush again.

So this is a super tiny solo cup shot glass 1 oz of soil. Germinated Wait and see!!!

Day 76 (4/22) Day 77 (4/23) Day 78 (4/24) Day 79 (4/25): just fed plain water. 5 more days and this one is coming down assuming all the trichomes are looking right. Day 80 (4/26) Day 81 (4/27) Day 82 (4/28) hung to dry around 10pm.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

Almost 3 weeks into flowering and we have some pretty little buds showing with tricombs already . Leaves are starting to turn color because the plant thinks it’s fall right now.

Very busy have some white Dynamite seedlings started for hopefully more feminised strains. My dream is to open a seed company and become the best seed supplier! Thanks for the views. Seeds should be on eBay by tommorow (regular ones)

12/8/20 día 21 de vegetativo Hoy comenzamos el seguimiento de estas nenas de 21 días. Hasta ahora han estado en contenedor de 1l y hoy he transplantado al de 7l que será el definitivo para que no cojan demasiada altura ya que siempre hago vegetativos largos.las pequeñas están muy sanas y fuertes a pesar de que sólo han sido regadas con agua base ( 0,4 ec) y ryzofuel, el enrraizante de Cyco. En el próximo riego comenzaremos a fertilizar suavemente y esperemos que las temperaturas comiencen a bajar ya que por el momento están demasiado altas. Veremos como se adaptan a sus nuevos contenedores. No te pierdas las actualizaciones. 14/8/20 día 23 de vegetativo Nuestras nenas se adaptan bien a su nuevo contenedor, no se observan muchos cambios pero todo sigue avanzando bien. Hacemos un riego preventivo con propolix ya que la botrytis es una amenaza constante en mi zona. El riego será de 0,5l por planta. Las temperaturas y humedad continúan sin cambios por el momento aunque en los próximos días espero que bajen un poco. En cuanto el sustrato esté seco comenzaremos la nutrición con la gama completa de Cyco platinum series que siempre me da grandes resultados (podéis verlos en Instagram en @galiforniaweeds). He preparado un riego con los productos Cyco indicados más arriba. Es un riego con una nutrición suave de 0,65 de ec y un ph de 6,1. Las temperaturas rondan los 25 grados durante el día y 22 durante la noche, la humedad se mantiene entre un 60 y un 65%. La mayoría de las nenas han ganado un par de cms estos días, actualizare su altura cada semana En la tabla superior para poder comparar los avances. Dejad vuestros comentarios y likes compis. Buenos días compañeros growers.todo avanza con normalidad en nuestro cultivo, las plantas de fortalecen y crecen día a día hoy hemos echo otro riego con los productos arriba mencionados, con una ec de 0,75 y un ph de 6,2. Las temperaturas han bajado un poco y están donde a mi me gustan, en unos 22,5 durante el día y a unos 20 durante la noche. Por otro lado la humedad está en un 63% con lo que las condiciones son las idóneas para un crecimiento estable. Arriba os he dejado una foto y un vídeo para que comprobéis El Progreso. Massive fattening this week from the Lemon AK, shes a big one. Another 2-3 weeks and she might be ready! Zkittles is maturing, but slower than i had hoped :( another week at least i think. but thats about what everyone else gets. Both of these plants are very true to their names and smell spot on. Lower nute intake seems to be working somewhat so im gonna keep it this way till the end.
