Stopped feeding this week. I'm pretty sure they should be ready to chop in a week or 2. I hate looking at them with my microscope so I've gotten pretty good a judging when they are finished. I love ILGM. They always come thru with solid genetics!!

En general, ha sido una buena cosecha para terminar este 2021, una experiencia que le recomendaría a cualquier cultivador, en una planta asombrosa. Ahí podéis ver algunas de las copas mas grandes del cultivo.

Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Bought the seeds few months ago. From Europe. Take 5 hour to reidratate. Once drowned moved in the pallet. So happy to start growing again! At the 5th day grow 3cm up. Amazing

Day 16 week 3 of flowering. Wow this girl has really stretched!!! She is up against the light & I can't raise the light anymore as the fan & filter is above the light up against the roof. Had to super crop the tallest branch & have tried to open her up some more with some serious bending & tying down carefully as the stems split pretty easily. Defoliated her & some more lolliepoping, she is going to grow some really nice big buds 👍

The buds are getting thicker. But, so far, they do not impress me. Maybe it's genetics, I have a lot of experience with autoflowers, this is my first experience with photoperiod plants.

Same Nutrient Mix as a Week before Smell is getting stronger

V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

Hi all, Grow area updates: Nothing major far as area is concerned added Some yoyo’s to the net so it can be raised and lowered easily now. I also noticed I had been following ghp feeding schedule for a recirculating system when mine is drain to waste. Didn’t have in adverse effects on the plants at all actually think they loved it tbh. But I’ll notice the ppm difference on these future updates. I was using way more nutrients then what was needed. Now I get to save money lol. Blue dream auto: Def has the faint smell of flowering cannabis now. The branching power from the mixing blue dream and already branchy plant with the ruderalis is def perfect for a scrog set up when you trying to maximize the your yield off one plant. I had to visit the tent 3 times this week to re tuck her down. Did the last tuck Thursday so what you are seeing from the pics today is three days of growth. Crazy!!!! She sitting at about 900 ppm And that’s with cutting the the grow solution some. Master kush photo: She popped through the net mid this week and hit her first tuck under today. With how well she reacted to the femm job. I went ahead and topped on the new growth on each branch. Her branch structure is way more sturdy then autos for sure. Leaves are bigger as well. One is the size of my palm lol I have big hands so that’s awesome. She sitting at about 800 ppm and getting less bloom solution. I’d also like to add I appreciate everyone’s advice far as set up and temp control. It was above 100°F the last couple days. And tent never got over 85 and as soon as the hotter part of the day was over we where back in the 70’s. Ima smoke one for y’all! 🤘🏾 Until next time #StayKited

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. FASTBERRY (FASTBUDS) 70 Days from sprout. She is showing great colors though not alot for bud size. The scent of citrus is dominating the berries at this point. Has me slightly concerned but we'll see how she smokes in the end. She will be chopped in the coming days.

Beautiful seeds from previous weed i smoked

The Pineapple Express is ready to come out soon and has started her flush with crystal clear , it tastes as good as it looks , I’ve pulled a bit more off to smoke ( the last pic ) . She’s got some purple coming out and is absolutely stacked in trichomes and sticky to the touch . The Gorilla Zkittles is another 2 weeks behind and will love getting the place to herself next week , she’s so stinky it burns your nose but every now and then that fruit orchards smell will come thru , she’s starting to fill out nicely and is standing a bit over 1.2 metres, I’ll spread her out some next week when I have the space and keep feeding her for another two weeks . For now it’s drier sheets at the exhaust vent and and giving these two a great finish.
