A few days late with the update but the pics and recording is from day 42 of flower

Right now I'm flushing with my homemade substance, it pushes pretty much clean, planning to harvest next week. Before harvesting I will let these girls sleep for 48 hours, hoping that a purple color will appear. Currently night temperatures are around 19 to 15 degrees.

The buds on my Medusa are showing off a mesmerizing range of hues, with shades ranging from pink to purple, adorned with hints of red and green. As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week. Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me. I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway. Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today. Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

Performed the "back building" technique this week to help bulk up the top cola. Watering the soil when dry, and defoliating the dry-dying fan leaves.

THC Bomb auto has been growing really well under the Spider Farmer 100 watt SF-1000 light. Well on its way to becoming a monster. Has been stretching all week and more signs of flowering are becoming present. Been raising the light as stretching continues. I have increased bloom and bloom booster. Hello Diary, In the end I can only say well done Royal Queen Seeds. I have grown a total of 4 out of 8 new hybrid F1 strains so far and all of them exceeded my expectations. Apollo F1 is no exception, although it was the smallest on the Farm, the flowers are the hardest and incredibly fragrant. During the entire cycle of growth and development, it proved to be very resistant, so that the plant looked impressive until the very end. The effect of Apollo F1 is relaxing, so I can consume it during my free time as well as when I am engaged in some creative work. It certainly removes stress and bad mood. At the end of drying, I got a little less than 50g, 49g to be exact, which is satisfactory especially because of the high quality flowers. I think I have mostly written everything that I thought was important, if anyone reading this text has any questions about Apollo F1, feel free to ask, I will be happy to answer.
