Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. I added a second layer of trellis and everything is looking nice and filled in. I will be defoliating and cleaning up the lowers on 11/9/18 (day 21) for better light penetration. I think everything is pretty much done stretching for the most part now time to start fattening up. Got some samples of Fish Sh!t organic soil conditioner from the local hydro store that claims to increase yield, flavor, and nutrient uptake so I will be adding it in the mix to see if I notice anything different.

Haven’t done anything, other than start a full dose regiment of nutrients this week. Working on a bigger light situation for my large tent, in the meantime space is limited 😢

This strain was easy to grow, short and very bushy. The smell when drying has an incredibly strong earthy/chocolate aroma which is very pleasant🤤.

Week 2 (Day 14) Flower- New BP 2500 was installed Sept. 17th, the girls are loving the full spectrum and extra watts they are getting now 😎😊 found a cool feature in iPhones when you click to edit a photo, the magnifier effect. It’s pretty cool. The week went well, started to form bud sites and pistils. Temp and RH have been steady. No deficiencies yet 🤞

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * My 2 MC1 X;s have been harvested and are in the dry tent now, one came out pretty ugly but smells unbelievablely strong of citrus. The black leafed one is a looker but doesn't have the yield factor. I thought I took cuts of these but turns out I did not so these 2 will be one and done, maybe down the road I will dip back into them but going forward I will be hitting any cuts that stand out to me with my reversed MC2 pollen and maybe give some away. But that won't be for a while. STRAWBERRY PIE AUTO (FASTBUDS) WEEK 3 Started very light nutrients. I have noticed some pistils later in the week.. so likely not going to top this plant, as I have a feeling she is going to flower sooner than expected

She's growing well, did some more defoliation and lollipop.. won't do any more topping at this point, keeping the 8 main colas. The other blue monster pheno has 16 colas, experimenting on yield and quality comparison. Happy growing
