What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

Day 63 - haha.... mazar are lookin pretty good... one of the ssh was male, so one of the mazar got moved into a big 19lt, IWS DWC Oxipot .......... lol just kept it in the same established plastic top/basket, and just put it straight into the top of dwc pot.... fits ok, so there's no disruption to the roots..... 👍 fans arrived, 20w :) just slowly moving along nicely.... not in any rush ... so just let em keep veggin... might top em, or something... try to get their stalks alot stronger.... Day 66 - 2 vids... topped em, lookin good ... 👍😎

Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? Taking a bit longer than expected for pistils development to happen but I'm hopeful it'll be any day now, I think between schwazzing a few days late and underfeeding them I caused a bit too much for them to launch like they could have, live and learn. Tried to see how long pls to could go without a feeding, turns out it's about 24 hours in the flower room. Gonna keep testing stuff but they seem headed back on track. Water pure coco daily. They are starting to thrive again, other than my fricken OMG and Zombie Kush (bad phenotpyes) but they are really just there for fun at this point. Week two saw some decent stretch, definitely need to figure out a better nutrient schedule going forward, recently bought some Veg/Bloom line up so I'm excited to see how powder nutrients go. So a lil update, I'm not editing any of the comments just adding addendums below, so for this one, I'm back to 2x daily watering for the flower room and daily for the veg room, 1.5g each feeding for all plants, as of 9/9/20 I've switched to Veg/Bloom lineup from Hydro Research and can't wait to see how it goes. The zombie kush and OMG are breaking my heart but I'm hopeful after defoliation this Friday and the new nutrient regimen they will be some happy girls. I very well may have just been severely underfeeding but that doesn't make sense since the big plants are doing so great, so I'm not really sure what the hell they want, also don't really care since we're focused on the two plants that have produced heirs. Week two had a lot going on, schwazz tomorrow on all of them and get rid of any smaller branches, should look quite a bit different on tomorrow's post.

Spider Farmer SE1500 😃👌 the old light wasn´t good enough 😛👊 Day 25 the ladies are in well shape and a bag of CO2 also added 😂😃👍 Day 26 need to cut some of those big leaves... wish me luck 😲🙏 Day 27 alot of leaves cut off... 😵 but the ladies are in good condition 😃🙏👍

Everything goes well. I have added a fan for an air flow, it reduced a bit the temperature inside the tent. Also I've made the first watering at day 12, about 2 liters per each 15l pot and added some soil, because the original soil has subsided. I used BAC foliar spray to spray leaves of the palnts

1 moth passed from germination. In result we have 12 strong plants and 4 reduced. They begin presenting wonderful scent! Increased my led on 40 % of power and it seems great. Buen fin de semana a todos !

En esta 3ra semana le corte los primeros 4 brotes a cada planta, ya que considero que esos primeros brotes quedan tapados por la luz y no se desarrollan tanto. Han crecido de buena manera, aunque el color verde de las hojas no es pareja, quizás la poda les afectó un poco o porque la extracción sigue siendo pasiva para mantener la humedad y eso afecta al proceso metabolico. Durante la próxima semana el fertilizante de root-juice lo cambiaré por vitamax pro, y mejorare la entrada y salida de aire. .... Se me había olvidado agregar a la solución de agua de bidon Cal-max, tal vez eso les faltaba, lo tendré en cuenta.

Well 84 days later ...in Flower its was finally time to Harvest . I sure had my challenges as a beginner and learned a lot by my mistakes and learning about fixing issues and keeping the environment Consistent . I did turn my 600HPS down to 400 as i was my plants were getting light burn and heat burn ..... lets just say i was learning all the way throw . it was exciting being my very first time . I started flowering too late late and they stretched and stretched ... i dont have much space ....lesson learned . I had to train them to grow sideways which did help significantly as did the lower my light to 400 watts ..my space is a square Meter and low ...... it was crazy but I really enjoyed it and there hanging ..... Personally I thought id end up killin them ...lol Thanks for the advice and comments they were greatly appreciated ... Happy growing .... Hope my next ones are Prettier ,,,,LOL Cheers
