Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

Indica/Sativa Hybrid. Chitrali #1 (IBL) x Skunk no.1. Tall growing kush with a high yield. Lemon zest aroma with a sweet kush flavor. Lemon Cream Kush was cloned straight from original Chitrali #1 seeds, which we got from Pakistan (Hindu Kush valley) and stabilized using one of our proven Skunk #1 fathers. Very heavy indica. Gets you so freaking stoned its awesome haha. Myself and a few mates already all said this pheno is a definite keeper! huge heads, amazing taste, incredible smell and best of all knocks like a donkey just kicked you😆😂😃 Already got clones growing for the next run! will be growing this strain probably for the next year straight.

Another great week! Buds swelling nice and smelling awesome! Last feeding this week will be flushing getting ready for harvest (Can’t Wait). Picked my first bud off and tried true Indica.

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻 Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻 In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. La solución tiene 2.1 ms y 5.6 PH. Se añade una pastilla de CO2. 10-11-20 Se corrige el PH 6.00 a 5.6 Conductividad 1.75 ms. 13-11-20 Se corrige el PH 6.00 a 5.6 Conductividad 1.72 ms.

Not too much on the scale but the terps and the intensity of the smoke is great. Two very distinct phenos that makes it so much interesting to understand the differences between.

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. week 6 of flower and she is starting to put on the weight. Buds have not got more frosty, not sure if its the strain or I've missed something. We are going to go with it the strain and not me, LoL. RQS says 8 to 9 weeks for flower. We will see how accurate that is. i'm going to give some Silica this week to see if it will help with trich production.
