Apple Betty Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. #1 was slow from the get-go but she has been building steam and is doing well. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag extra. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. No nutrients yet, but I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag extra. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Alle sehen sehr gesund aus. Wachsen wie sie sollen und fangen langsam an herrlich zu duften. Mainlineing und toppen habe sie sehr gut weggesteckt, aber bei den Genetiken von @fastbuds ist es auch kein Wunder. Wir sind gespannt wie es weiter geht.

Looking great so far. Removing more fan leaves every other day or whenever i find the time to check the garden.

Grandaddy Purple is doing great, the shape is perfect, bud size and stretch is perfect so she will make some big flowers. The defoliation really works great every time. Feeding is the same as the others, Bio Flowering Booster, a bit of Bio Grow and SuperVit from RQS.

Day 7in to flower heat is a little high hear But heyyyy ohh. Ph in 5.8 run off 5.9 Ec in. 2.4 run off 2.6 Both lights now on 100% Zeus side just starting to take over Lights off / heat problems but can’t be helped

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. happy with the growth of this plant. its the top performer in my tent in terms of vegetative growth :)ive noticed purple/brown tips on the leaves, and purple leaf edges and stems. if anyone can help and guide me through flowering feel free to give me a comment or private message :) I feel more happy and alive now that ive been caring for these plants the last while. i love watching the progress day to day, listening to music with them and singing to them, they are quickly becoming a really big part of my life and health. over the moon that ive reached the flowering phase! roll on harvest and il update this when im home as my phone is gonna die! :) Update - Day 37 - 29/10/19 Flushed the plant today, runoff ph was 5.95 and ppm was 837. i have to flush to obtain runoff in these pots and i think this is causing problems, especially because im not using RO water. the ppm of my water is 140, and thats what ive been using for my first grows. (il pick up some water from the store soon) so im using 5 gallon pots with pure coco and autoflowers, the flushing to obtain runoff i think is just taking away from precious time in the plants life cycle. it would probably have been easier to grow photos in these pots and veg them out until they are monsters and then flip into flowering. oh well theres always next grow. and still for a first grow im happy with where im at :) watered: 1.8L/4ml Canna A/4ml Canna B/3ml Rhizotonic/3ml Cannazym. ppm 380. this should help with the purpling of the leaves and help flowering :) also needed that flush to get rid of salt buildup! Day 39 - 31/10/19 Happy halloween folks! Wow... Quick one is thriving now, i think ive learned enough to keep the plants in a near optimal setting :) tooks some photos and a video as usual, loving how the plants are developing! anyway this plant has grown about 6cm in 3-4 days, and its the buds getting taller instead of veg growth :) if actually looks like a plant off the 📺 more and more. i think im gonna get between 12-20 grams off this plant :) the flush worked a treat and i think the old nute and salt buildup was stopping it stretching! following cannas feeding schedule slightly for the ratio of nute/water. i learned that:(cocoforcannabis.com) Coco is supposed to be mostly saturated at all times which in turn means less watering to get runoff. now that im in the flowering stage too im watering once every morning at lights on! maybe when i get the tehnique down i can increase to two waterings per day - once at lights on, and once 10 hours later. To sum up this week ive had a lot of stretchy growth ,(flowering) a nice lavender like smell from the plant. a better fertigation schedule and i learned how to make dry ice hash from popcorn and trim :) i tried this in barcelona and it was amazing! super expensive so it will be nice to have my own stash :) Dont forget to check out my videos and my other diaries :) all the best!

At 101 days old , these girls are looking an smelling oh so amazing! 2 of the Pre 98 Bubbas and both Dirtyblondes started getting flush on Saturday, so they will continue flush the rest of the time for 12 days an they will be ready for 48 hrs of darkness. While the 2 other Pr 98 Bubbas will remain on same feeding through rest of this week a most likely start getting flush by next week!! Shes a stinker and a stunner. 👻👽💀 My watering schedule got a bit out of whack so she began eating herself a bit, but nothing a good dose of some nutes and ye old reliable, calmag, shouldnt be able to fix Watering is still 6L, 6PH, 5ml/L bloom, introduced her to green sensation this week, and a healthy dose of calmag to repair my inconsistent schedule (its magic, dont ask) did some minor defoliation of the worst evidence of my neglect that sprung to my eye. but other than that, ill just call it fade 😎😎😎 Jokes aside, she IS developting some nice colors. 😍

Iv started my 9 beans out in jiffy pallets on the 29th of march so we are 2 days in and they are already starting to pop out! I have 1 of each making way through the top layer of Coco in the pallet.
