so it's a first for me this week I try to fim the top instead of topping it and I have video and pics if anyone can let me know I got it right but beside that I trimmed up the leafs a lil and let it grow it's on like it 6th node jus waiting for it to get tall agine any tips is helpful

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

A small update from yesterday. Looking forward to the next weeks. Hopefully they will frost up a little more. They really love the compost tea!

Week 1

Nooooot great custom dwc totes doing much better then vivosun buckets

Week 5 and this week we are in flowering. More like a pre-flower. Got my filter and fan hook up as smells are starting to get stronger. Still running nuts at 100%. Did a big defoliation and install a trellis net.

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind. Well well! In just 2 days she went from little purple to actually the whole plant changing color. Curious to see where it’ll go!

Giorno 38 - ho dato 1litro di acqua a testa in irrigazione, domani alzerò i dosaggi di fertilizzanti a 1ml/lt per ognuno Giorno 39 - ho dato 1litro (0,5 l a testa) di fertilizzanti in quantità (1ml/L di bio grow, bio bloom e top max), vediamo come reagiscono le piante Giorno 40 - il terreno é ancora umido, irrigherò domani, sembra abbiano reagito bene alla dose in più di fertilizzanti che ho dato ieri Giorno 41 - ho dato 1litro di acqua a testa perché una delle due aveva le foglie totalmente abbassate, verificherò tra qualche ora se si é ripresa Giorno 42 - stanotte alle 3 le foglie di una erano completamente abbassate di nuovo, il terreno é umido quindi non ho irrigato, credo che annaffierò domani

Sie versprüht eine leichte Vanille Note was sehr angenehm rüber kommt. Ihre Buds werden immer Purpler was richtig fein aussieht. Heute gab es das letzte mal Nährstoffe nach BioBizz-Juju Royal Düngeschema. Danach wird nur noch mit Ph angeglichenen Wasser gegossen. It is also getting frostier and frostier and I regularly check the tricomes. She exudes a slight vanilla note which is very pleasant. Her buds are getting purpler and purpler which looks really nice. Today was the last time I gave her nutrients according to the BioBizz-Juju Royal fertilizer scheme. After that we will only water with Ph adjusted water. Nur ganz wenige weisse Blütenfäden, wenige klare Trichome aber auch wenige Orangefarbene. Die Blüten lassen sich kaum zusammendrücken, so fest sind die. Ab morgen wird blank gewässert. The Mandarine Cream is entering its third week of flowering, and the aroma is becoming increasingly potent. The plant is looking beautiful and vigorous, with the buds showing significant daily growth. The smell is evolving into a strong, citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. Environment: This week began with a cold front, bringing temperatures down to a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 15°C. A light rain has helped increase the humidity, which could boost resin production, although the cooler temperatures may also slow down the flowering process, just as they did during the vegetative stage. Fertilizing: I've stopped fertilizing as the plant now has everything it needs from the substrate. Watering: Sparse, around once a week, to maintain the right moisture levels without over-saturating. Pest Control: Beauveria applications have been reduced to once weekly, and the garden remains completely free of pests, which is a pleasant surprise. Training: The main cola top remains tied down. I haven't done any further defoliation or additional training. The focus is now on letting the plant continue its natural growth as it transitions deeper into flowering.
