ACE Seeds Malawi x Northern Lights Auto 8th March 2020 Welcome Back it's now Day 32 since Germination and she is Moving into Full stretch and early flowering . Hopefully I got enough LST training done so that I can maximise my harvest potential. Ive got her back out in the sun today because the weather is ideal. I reckon a bit of natural sunlight and UV couldn't hurt her and could even be a very good thing actually. Whilst she's outdoors I'll feed her with some Fulvic , Humic and amino acids plus Mycorrhizae and one last mix of Grow Nutes. This should be enough to see her thru the stretch phase hopefully and then she'll start getting more Potassium and Phosphorus for Bud production. 06/12/23 - Day 0 Here we go again!! After a successful run of 3 strains, I've decided to pop a 3 pack of MilkyWay F1 from RQS. 3 seeds are in a wet paper towel, inside a plastic sandwich bag, into a dark warm cupboard. Im hoping they all germinate!! LET'S GROW!!! 08/12/23 - Day 2 from seed All 3 seeds have cracked and tap roots have come out, so i've put them in the peat pots. I mixed coco coir and perlite at 70/30. I've also decided to add a teaspoon of DYNOMYCO’s Mycorrhizae in each little pot too. 10/12/23 - Day 4 2 out of 3 have sprouted, the 3rd isn't too far behind. 11/12/23 3 out of 3 are out and thriving!! we're well within schedule and we're off to a very good start!! 12/12/23 - Day 6 I've decided to move all 3 into their final pots today! I'm using Plagron AllMix in 12L pots with a nice big drip dish. Into the tent they go!!!

The smaller one went outdoors, into the garden of a friend. All good. Some yelowish leaves, some leaves with spots, nothing serious. Watering almost every second day. Giving much more water than last years grow, but i have a much stronger pump for air. And the filter ist not installed yet.

Day 23. This girl should be big, stretching and side shooting lika a champ ! A bit sensitive to magnesium and nitrogen, but all is going better. Next week or maybe a bit earlier i will start training. Girl is on pure dechlorinated phed water diet. 6.3 as always. Thinking to give 1000ml instead of current 600 to them. Girls drink every 3 days. Great light no doubts! Mars TS1000 and daily rotation around axe, plus changing positions every 2 days - helps a lot with even development. Day 26. Small training for her was done, again main stem was twisted for 20-30 sec between fingers and top bent sideways. That helps to strengthen main top and allows other side shoots to catch up for even canopy . Still think wires will be involved with all, too little space, need to optimise it .... Happy Growing !!!

Very saddened by the turn of events, 3 herms, 2 different grow environments, but each tent had another strain growing along with it. No seeds or problems with the Cookies strain… I had no power outages, no light leaks, no schedule changes, and performed relatively little defoliation during flower. To me, this cannot be attributed to stress, as they showed no sign of stress or deficiency’s throughout the grow. Long story short, booooooo.

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...

May9th The tallest one is almost 3ft tall and it’s just the beginning of this outdoor grow. Last year I haven’t even started and ended with 3-4ft plants. So 3ft plants as a head start is a winner in my book

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG Auto is in week 9 and she is just now starting to stack some buds. I am still feeding Silica, Cal Mag, and Veg Nutes, as well as some PK booster. I am done with training and only defoliate a leaf or two here or there it is blocking too much light from a flower site but pretty much I am just letting her do her thing. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. Kicked these girls off - 22/04/20 - Germinated 4 Zamnesia Runtz seeds - soaked in water with a drop of seaweed. All germinated fine. Paper towel method until tap root is around an inch. 24/04/20 - Added to rooters 28/04/20 - Putting them in their starter pots today to get rooted. Time lapse - 24th > 27th April. Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Have developed spider mites again! Not that big of a deal,as I have already treated with 86 liberally, and will continue to do so. However, I am extremely curious as to why they have not mingled on over to my dwc. The 2 grows are the same strain, everything is the same, except media. Any ideas on why just the one plant?
