The plant has settled in now, and it's beginning to grow faster now. The stem isn't as thick as that from the Banana Kush Auto I grow parallel, but thanks to the added silica, super solid and rigid. LST doesn't seem like a great option, will probably try FIMing, or maybe Topping. I'll add photos later, that'll show the result of this decision process. UPDATE: I decided to FIM the Fat Monkey, to increase side branch production. ANOTHER UPDATE: I might've taken off a little too much when FIMing, which turns it into topping, I guess.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

8/22 - There has been some explosive growth among my 4 purple Microdots. They are growing by leaps and bounds each day, 8/23 - So far everything is going smoothly. Just watering each day w/ RO water and organic black strap molasses. 8/24 - Brewing up some compost tea. This will be there first! As they start to get a little bigger I've made a prediction for sex. I think A238 & A239 are male and A240 & A241 are female. We'll see! 8/25- Fed the ladies with the compost tea and used it as a foliar spray as well. They responded very well and continue to have crazy, rapid, growth. 8/27 - They have gotten so big and bushy. I'm going to start a little LST on them today! 8/30 - They are starting to show sex! 7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. Got mold in one of the buds. So I removed it... don’t think she gonna make it... so much rain no sun.... amazing smell when visiting her But got a new problem I just discovered there’s a human path.... not far from the place I can see them they can’t see me... yet.... maybe try make some oil on here. She already really sticky

I had a good harvest set up, in order to keep everything sterile. The drying went good and steady with converting my grow tent to dry tent. -Humidity through drying 53-58% RH -Temp a bit high 18-23 10 days of drying Very satisfied with this grow as my first grow. I said i would be more than happy with 100g (dry and trimmed) and i weighted in 95.9g PLUS about 5grams i plan to smoke now 😇 So very happy. Currently in curing jars Not harsh taste, even with no curing. Nice and fruity and a deep high. I will test the THC levels after curing and update my blog. This will def not be my last grow.
