Back plant growing so fast, taller then the other and roots going into the water below already. Small plant up front has been going slower from the start. Slow to poke its head out and look at the light and has been behind ever since.

Trimmed alot of dead leaves of today . Going to run 2 more days then light out. Stacked on a lot of weight this week. Looking forward to finally being able to smoke only a couple of weeks away

This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

Day 36 1/18/22 - Doubled in height last week! raised lights 7 inches above manufacturer recommendation. Gonna try to stretch the ladies a bit this week. I feel I have the watering part down as I water slowly and (now) I feel the bottom of the cloth pots to make sure I got it down all the way. Day 37 - a little more LST as I was late to the party of understanding just how important LST, and other techniques, are to increasing your yield. Once you do LST the first time it becomes completely obvious that this is necessary. Plants now need water at different times so I will no longer be documenting when I water. Also I think I correctly diagnosed a wind burn issue and therefore have raised the offending fan a bit. Day 39 - Noticing a little yellowing on some of the leaf tips and found a little more of what I'm calling wind burn on another plant. I moved one of the fans, set the lights back to 75% intensity, and lowered them back to about 20 inches above tops (Mars says 18 inches). I think the ladies will like this better than 3 Mars TS1000's at full intensity inside a 4x4x66 tent (450W total). Note - I'm struggling a bit with temps in this small room. Hard to keep the tent under 80. Then at night the substrate gets down to 66 along with the room temps. So, during the day, when it gets too warm inside the tent, I open the doors and things are OK again. This is not a long term solution cause I can't be opening and closing it every day. Plus it's winter and the outside temps go into the 20's (F) at night. Run the AC in winter? No way. I can't imagine what I'll have to do when outside temps go into the upper 90's every day. So what is the long term solution you say? I've just about made up my mind to do away with the tents and dedicate the entire room for growing. I see myself growing 12 of the same or similar ladies per grow - one grow at a time and I can only fit these if the tents go. I'm currently figuring out what is involved besides grabbing an AC unit and venting it and the room up into the attic. That is what I'm thinking at the moment. Day 41 - upped my game cause I knew that I could not be accurate using my current ph testing solution. Could only get kinda close maybe sorta. So I picked up a BlueLab PH pen (recommended by the "420 Scene"). Long story short it looks like I've been feeding the ladies something near 7.0. Now I am able to get 6.3 or 6.4 consistently. Maybe I want to be at 6.5. Not sure so I'm going for 6.3 +/- 1 for now. Hoping they like it better! Day 42 - life is good. This was a fun week!

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. New week starts. __________ 🌞10.05 I've watered my plants with 'Pre-Flowering' GHE nutrient mix and spraiyed them with 'Foliar nutrients'. 🌞11.05 Nothing for today. 🌞12.05 Nothing today. No feeding, no spraying. I'm patiently waiting for the end of a week to make huge defoliation. My babies are big. Too big. 🌞13.05 The same. 🌞14.05 Found few bent up leaf tips. Thinking what it is. Upd: I asked a grow kwestion and got an answer. As a result, I moved my lamps higher. 🌞15.05 The reddish 'rusty' marks shows up between upper leaves veins on 'RG'#2 I suspect sunburn. Asked a new grow question. 🌞16.05 It's definitely Phosphorus deficit combined with high temperature. I've measured income and outcome water and it was normal, so it's not an overfeeding. Watering with 80% 'GHE Tripart' bloom formula with adding 80% of recommended dose of 'Advanced PK' nutrient. Watering: - Ph 6.2, - CE 1.17 Drainage: - Ph 6.25 - CE 1.09 I can't change lamp-to-plant distance, but I can put other lamp in my grow box. I have 50 watt red light grow lamp and I'll change one of my 100W lamps to it tomorrow when the light will shut down. It will be 250W instead of 300W and that should be more comfortable to the flowers, I guess. I grew the mighty 'Critical' with this setup. Sprayed my garden with clean water and that's all for today. ___________ Week ends.

Actual day 37 flowering today : After a screw up on weeks and missing 1 totally !!!. I am now on track correctly The Gorilla girls continue to be amazing and look beautiful close up. Buds are so sokid and heavy too. her smell is so candy/fruity and they are starting their second burst now. I am looking forward to sampling these ladies so much.
