Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. 420Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 8 Week 8 update on these two beautiful girls. They both appear to be growing great even though they're different in size and structure. The flower sites are swelling up as nicely as one could expect. So will keep up the same routine of nutes every 3rd watering. All in all Happy Growing

After a strong start, we’ve gently introduced a small dose of Greenhouse Feeding Bio nutrients to begin supporting early growth. Watering remains minimal, as these young plants aren’t thirsty yet — they’re steadily finding their stride, with roots spreading through the Floragard Growmix soil. **Environment & Care**: - **Water**: Lightly administered reverse osmosis (RO) water keeps things clean and precise. - **Nutrients**: A hint of Greenhouse Feeding Bio fertilizer to nudge growth along without overwhelming. - **Conditions**: Temperature and humidity kept stable for optimal root and shoot development. **Plant Progress**: - All 10 Donutz are healthy and showing strong vigor, with consistent growth. - Leaves are vibrant and lush, indicating proper photosynthesis and nutrient uptake. - We can almost imagine their roots spreading through the rich Floragard soil, exploring and establishing themselves, while above ground, they’re standing strong and ready to keep pushing upward. Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos, y también, a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾 Casi 13 semanas de vida de esta cepa seria y exótica que está poniendo color en mi jardín de la alegría, la planta se mantiene en una calma elegante, bella y orgullosa. Esta semana he doblegado la rama más alta para igualar el dosel, la planta ha comenzado la pre flora y no espero más crecimiento, el tamaño final va a ser fantástico para mi porque voy a poder alumbrarla desde el sustrato hasta la copa con luces intensas, voy a continuar esta semana con las luces blancas de crecimiento, y la semana que viene haré un cambio drástico de todos los paneles led laterales, los sustituiré por otros con temperaturas de color más cálidas, además, voy a reforzar el dosel con otras dos lámparas, una con diodos de 2700K+660nm (50w) y un COB de 2800K con lente (50w), no quiero ningún rincón de la carpa a oscuras! 💡💡💡💡💡 Los riegos de esta planta, durante las dos últimas semanas, así como de todas las demás plantas han sido con poca concentración y con componentes destinados fortalecer la planta y a la inoculación de Microorganismos para la descomposición acelerada de materia orgánica del sustrato, así como la disolución de los minerales también presentes en el sustrato, se trata de no sobrealimentar, en esta etapa de transición, con Fertilizantes solubles y promover por última vez, la expansión de las raíces, que dejarán de crecer cuando la planta entre de lleno en floración, en el momento que claramente deje la planta de crecer y dirija toda la energía a la formación de flores empezará el gran juego, una segunda parte muy intensa y con momento bellísimos, la floración es el momento donde se requiere mucha variedad de minerales, más que en crecimiento vegetativo, por lo tanto la alimentación que tengo preparada para esta etapa va a ser muy variada... todo por la causa! A diferencia de la temporada pasada estoy regando profundamente pero dejando al sustrato agotar mayor cantidad de humedad con el fin de airear el sustrato lo más posible entre riego y riego, controlo el consumo exacto de agua cada día, peso mis macetas diariamente y tengo una hoja de excell que me calcula, este y otros datos de la evolución de los cultivos, al final estas técnicas me están sirviendo para simplificar lo complejo... cada loco con su tema! These girls have had a hard time dealing with my learning curb to soil/organic. This week they turned a page. The biggest ones nearly doubled in height. The one that got ate during week too has finally took off. I didn't top so we will see how that turns out letting her go all natural. Great week for the plants. Next week is going to be stupid hot but he's fastbuds can handle it.

Going Strong!

I came back after the vacation and opened the suitcase, I was very surprised that it grew too much :D I cut more leaves and bent some branches:) the girl started blooming!!!:).

Northern Lights is very close to being finished. I had phosphorus excess in this grow before, and I think that's what's happened again. I think the excess of phosphorus has prevented the plant from being able to uptake Calcium, Magnesium and others. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2. I added per litre; ♡ 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/4 TSP Sea K(elp) PPM: 890 PH: 6.2 I decided to feed each plant separately and mix it up in the 2l jug. I gave an additional 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 636 PH: 6.4. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. She will be taken down once I'm satisfied with the ratio of trichomes. I'm leaving this one a bit longer than I usually would, just to see the difference in effects of a later harvest. I do need the space in the tent, so I'm hoping it won't take too much longer.
