Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Willkommen in Woche sechs!

15th of October Sry for the delayed update, but was quite busy with my work lately. Anyway, on the 15th of October, it was the big day of harvesting this beauty. 6 1/2 months ago in April it germinated. And now after 9 weeks of flower finally it’s harvest time. The past 2 weeks the weather was nasty af. But this steadfast soldier was bravly withstanding this ass sucking conditions. Only few buds I had cut out because of mold. The rest has beautiful shiny milky trichomes that makes me happy😊. I think they would have needed 2 more weeks to really thicken up, but the weather is gonna be worst in the next weeks :(. So better chopped now. In the last weeks I was super worried to loose my whole harvest to the every day high humidity. I even wanted to chop it earlier. But got good recommendation from the community to be still patiened. That hint was very rewarding, Thanks guys. I will also make another week for the harvest, don’t worry 😊

Chopped one before vacation and off to dry while I'm in Ireland and the UK, leaving the other one to keep going and chopped on return.

Into Week 8 now and really filling out. A good solid healthy outdoor plant with little to no extra care or intervention so far, really happy with it and excited to see how it finishes out. Scratched in some Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal toward the end of the week and then lightly watered in for a little feed.

If you are lonely when you are alone, then you are in bad company. It just so happens that a family friend who is a beekeeper gave me some honey. Blessed luck! Bee pollen is nutrient-dense and packed with several vitamins and minerals. Bee pollen contains vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C. It also provides minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, iron, and selenium, I mixed a bunch of that with some honey and RAW cane molasses to make a nice big bucket of tea. The nutritional content of raw honey is impressive and includes high levels of protein, amino acids, B vitamins, calcium, manganese, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and iron, as well as various polyphenolic antioxidants. I am loading up nature's finest sugars, and sweet things.

If you are lonely when you are alone, then you are in bad company. It just so happens that a family friend who is a beekeeper gave me some real country honey out of the blue. It's funny how thoughts turn up in unexpected ways. Bee pollen is nutrient-dense and packed with several vitamins and minerals. Bee pollen contains vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C. New cooling finally installed, overkill for a 4x4, can maintain temps of 65F with 1000w lighting and not break a sweat, very grateful, happy days!

Topped in last few days 2-3 days ago, was completely overran with life , kids and work so didn’t do SST on Wednesday , nor water as the reservoir is still somewhat half full, I mist the top soil lightly, was everyday , last 4 days every 2-3 days as cover crop retain moisture and probably pull some from the reservoir . Galaxy Grape 2nd seed sprouted but got ate by mould mites 😂, actually they manage to eat 2 Galaxy grapes and Eden secret sprout 🙈🤣🤣, 100% living soil and only strong will survive 🙈😂😂😂😂 elimination by necessity of nature haha

Having done many earth grows and some Kratky experiments in the past, I felt confident to try RDWC. During the germination week I already noticed that my experience was not worth much. I sanitized everything with Isopropyl alcohol because the H202 was still in shipping. I'm using tap water with an EC of 0.4 and pH of 7.2. I set up the system with drip rings and dropped the seeds with a bit of paper towel directly in the clay pebbels. I set the pH to 5.8. I would not do that again, it would be far more efficient to use a Kratky setup beforehand. Without any nutrients I already had problems getting the pH stable. It ranged from 3.5 to 6.5. However I got it fixed in time and both seeds popped.

Day 35 Just wtf is this growth.. Shes already at the top of the light and i cant increase the height anymore 😅 I may have to bend over that main branch so she doesn't get burnt, but i don't know what else do yet. Just waiting for the others to catch up in flower before i start feeling bloom nutes. (even though she already needs it.)

Day 35 Shes really stepped up in the last week... look at her size😅 If i had some more space in the tent i think shes get even wider. Shes starting to show some pistils, wonder how much more she will stretch.

Day 35 Shes disappointed me a little with her stretch power, hopefully shes waiting to use her secret weapon a little later into flower. Also cleaned her up down the bottom as those leaves were completely in the shade. Shoot of her top of pot roots looks decent.
