~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2202 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! A strain I’ve been very keen to get going! AK is a real classic and an iconic strain for me, I’ve given her a 5Gal fabric pot with BioBizz Light mix and I’ve added some beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to support the infrastructure development. Off to a flying start, literally 72hours from seed to saying hello. Poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week goes. I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

The plants have been on cruise control 🛳️ so far and they’re loving every second of it! Despite all of them being popped around the same time, I can see the purple lemonade finishing up much faster than the lsd-25’s. No deficiencies to my eyes, slowly plumping up day by day 🤘

She is getting big and beautiful

Germination week is to me the most stressful. Will the seeds sprout or nah, will they love they're conditions or nah. I hate this week but I'm hoping Growers Choice won't fail me again. Last time I was 3 for 3 with all 3 germinating but one got too cold and literally popped. Hoping that a temp between 75-80f will be adequate this time. So here's a day 4 update - all 3 seeds have sprouted a taproot. BB1 was the first one to come out and say whazzup BB2 was soon after. BB3 I had to investigate and found the tap root was growing towards the surface so I very carefully turned it over and placed it taproot down lol. We should see her emerge within 24hrs. I am adding maybe 1/2oz of water to BB1 and BB2 as the rest of the medium is pretty dry and the peat moss dries out pretty quickly because of it. Update day 5 - BB3 has successfully sprouted. I'm maintaining higher rh levels and have started to sub irrigate to encourage downward root growth. Final day update - all three girls are out and starting their early growth stages. Pheno 3 is a strange case here... I had to separate the peat moss to extract the taproot exposed seed and turn her over. Thankfully she handled it just fine but is also a bit deeper into the medium I hope this won't be a problem later in the early growth stages.

1x topping and still waiting for a new place.. a new place for my fast-flowering Forbidden Mochi flower Pre-fertilized with cow manure and chicken manure, a large pile of shells and old used substrate on a former compost pile. I'm still waiting for it to warm up. At the end of the week, I will do a radical topping cut of the entire flower, it will go outside in a week. Spraying Biobizz Fishmix 1ml/l

La semana fué realmente bien 👍😌🙌 Esta semana sera la última con el ciclo 18/6 para empezar con un 12/12 y comenzar la floración la semana que viene 💪 Hemos estado aplicando durante todo el proceso 2ml de Terra Vega para la etapa vegetativa de la planta y comenzamos a darle Pure Zym de Plagron para que absorba odos los nutrientes posibles sin saturación 👌

RESUMEN DE CULTIVO: Esta cepa es brutal, resiste muy bien las manipulaciones y genera cogollos grandes y prietos, también soporta una fertilización poco controlada y ligeramente excesiva. Perfecta para alguien con pocos conocimientos (este es mi primer cultivo) OLOR: No tiene un olor fuerte, una buena opción para quien necesita disimular el olor del cultivo. SABOR: Su perfil de terpenos es muy bueno pero suave, varia en funcion de la planta, algunas tenían un sabor ligero, especiado y tirando a lo picante pero una en particular si sacó matices de olor y sabor muy dulces y afurtados entre el mango y el platano realmente buenos, me encantaría tener una madre de ese ejemplar. EFECTOS: Tiene altos porcentajes de THC, a tumbado a más de un amigo, me parece una buena opción si buscas una variedad potente. LO MALO: Poco malo tengo que decir, aunque tampoco es tan sabrosa como me hubiera gustado. Seguiré buscando otras variedades pero seguro que repito.

End of week 4 and what a week. This poor girl was getting roasted by the heater because silly me had put the thermometer too far away 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned and problem solved. I also may have been slightly over watering her. I'll surely be more vigilant on the coming weeks. On day 22 I started LST with this girl, just bending her over to open up the new growth to the lights. Day 27 I brewed up a compost tea and they reacted very well. I used 1 cup of Herbis brew starter, 1 cup of worm castings and 1 cup of organic compost. I used the left overs as a top dress And today on day 28 I realized she was getting cooked next to the heater so moved them all away and re-positioned the thermometer to properly warm them. Today I also lightly defoliated her and continued LST Learned a lot this week and will not be making these same mistakes again. Hope you all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

Flush week with pure tap water

I am very happy with the results of this growth cycle. I have improved my techniques for growing plants (LST and topping) and methods for stopping mite infestation. I didn't get a great harvest(not too much big flowers), but I like the result, nice compact and very good smelling buds.I make a wet trimming process and after this I tried for the first time to wash the buds before the drying process, because I use the foliar products to defeat the mites and the result is excellent (the ganja tastes good when I smoke it). Next time I will try to grow bigger and denser flowers to get a bigger harvest💪💪😊. An excellent plant that I would recommend to beginners, who want to experiment without risking too much.

This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet. Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6. (Here are my notes of the 6th Week) 30th September 2020 ( 11cm in height ) The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very beautiful grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds. (Notes Done) So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19) I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard

Esta semana fue muy productiva hicimos poda apical y de bajos ,trasplantamos a una maceta de 3 litros, se recupero muy bien y sigue creciendo hermosa , esta semana la vamos a dejar descansar y darle cariño para que siga creciendo sana , las semanas siguientes ya la vamos a ir entrenando con cropping y amarres vamos a ir viendo!!!
